MK so early in the morning - what a nice treat! Love all the Halloween decorations - definitely must go during that time of year sometime!
I loved going in September. Main Street was so pretty. Next on my list...Christmastime!
Looks like you had a great start to your day!
We love EMH at MK!
Wow, you got a ton done during those two hours. Do you enjoy the morning EMH usually? Is it pretty low crowds usually? Love the fall decorations! So, so pretty.
We have always finished up all of Fantasyland during EMH (and a little after the park opens). We did the same exact thing in June and it was perfect. I think we skipped Dumbo in June, but we replaced it with IASW. The only things open during EMH at MK are Fantasyland and Tomorrowland (typically).
Off and ready for MK before the sun is even up. That's the way to do it!
Believe it or not, in all my trips to WDW, I've never seen the MK opening show.

I know right??
Stupid cranes messing up your MK shot! Doesn't look like they've done much expansion wise yet. I walked by the walls but didn't really think to peek over them.
I've never seen a character on the teacups before, only in commercials. That's awesome!
Exactly! I don't mind getting up early on vacation...especially at Disney!
Really? We didn't see it in June when we were there for EMH, so I was very suprised that they did it in Sept.
Someone just posted new "over the wall" pics of the FLE on the "official" FLE thread. It looks like they have some skeletal structures up for the Little Mermaid ride and Beast's castle. Progress!
It was so neat to see the White Rabbit on the tea cups!
Great pictures and what an awesome start! I love am EMH at MK! No lines!
Did those Mickey head pumpkins on the light fixtures light up at night? Very cool!
I also love your tank top. Is that one you ordered from a DISer or etsy?
Do you normally ride space mountain when you're not pregnant? Was this Madison's first ride?
That is why we love EMH at MK. You can just walk onto every Fantasyland ride (except Dumbo).
I'm not sure if they lit up or not. I didn't pay attention to them during
MNSSHP.
I got that tank on etsy.com. It's from the same girl who made our Halloween shirts.
Space Mtn is a no-no for expectant mothers (along with most of my other favs). I LOVE Space Mtn and I haven't gotten to ride it since Jan 09!!!! It was closed in June 09. That was Madison's first ride!!! She really enjoyed it.
Aw, Meghan, your pictures gave me goosebumps. I just love that early-morning feel in the Magic Kingdom, with the long shadows, damp pavement, people hurrying toward their favorites...
That Bert has EXACTLY the goofy grin-grimace of Dick Van ****! Wow!
Edit: LOL, they beeped out the name of the famous actor who played Bert in the Mary Poppins movie!
Thanks! I love early morning walking down Main Street. It's a great feeling.
You're so right about Bert. He was perfect.
Believe it or not, but Fiance and I loved being up that early for morning EMH's!
You guys got a lot done!
And I loved seeing all the Fall/Halloween decorations! I've never been during that time.
Dumbo was awesome for being able to sneak a peak over the wall!
EMH is so much fun at MK. It's worth it! We always get so much done and then we can focus on other areas of the park when we come back another day.
You have to go in the fall sometime. It's just so pretty.
I was getting dizzy on Dumbo because I kept focusing on looking over the walls!

It's neat to get a little peak though.
Meeting Mary Poppins and Bert is on my wish list! Great pics!
Lovely Halloween decorations! I giggled when you said you took pictures of every single scarecrow- that's something I'd do
They were so cute and Mary Poppins was gorgeous!
Hahaha....I never get to take a lot of detailed pics like that, so I was really enjoying it.
I'm just getting caught up on everyone's TR's! Great update. Looks like a super morning at MK. We can never seem to make it to EMH in the mornings.
No one likes to get out of bed early on vacation I guess.
Fantasyland was so torn up when we were there last week. What a mess!
It was fantastic! I highly recommend EMH at MK....especially if your kids like Fantasyland! It was pretty messy when we were there too. IASW was closed and covered, Pooh's queue was covered by walls and so was his tree, Peter Pan had walls around it and don't get me started on Main Street! There were SO many tarps! I can't wait to go back when it's all pretty again.
