School is out next Thursday for the kids but we have to go in on Friday too - to tidy rooms etc. I think I will spend at least the first week of the holiday in school though sorting out my room (I have to move to another room which you can't really do when someone is still teaching in it!) plus I have the spare room to sort out. Really that shouldn't be just my job but one teacher is getting married, one is going to South Africa to visit her brother and another has a broken foot!! That leaves me and one of the other girls to do the work! Oh well, at least that way I will get the spare room the way I want it to look I think I will end up going in the second week too, plus I have to go in for a few days when some new interactive whiteboards are being fitted. I need to make sure the workmen put them in the correct places. So I figure out of the 5 weeks we get off I will get about a 2 1/2 week break altogether. The thing that sucks is that we don't get paid to do the extra work!!

Too much to do, too little time to do it!!

My mother refuses to use the words "vomit" or "throw up". Instead she prefers "up chuck". As in "I don't know vie, but I sink I'm going to up chuck." I mean, who uses that word?!?!?

Hmmm, yes indeed. See I can't stand the phrase your mother uses and furthermore hate, HATE! the word chunk. Yuck. Didn't like typing it.
