QOTD: I'm always singing in the car with DBf,we seem to butcher most rap but it's fun

Hey all! I read about halfway thru the new thread and I figured I should answer the QODs that I have some across...

1. I drive a Dark Green 95 Saturn SL1. I hope to upgrade to a new car within the next few months, and I am considering a Grand Am at this point.

2. I have the Mickey USA topper. I tried to find the Bride topper, but I couldn't so I don't think they make it anymore. :(

3. I'm in the Air Force! :)

4. I was born in Heidelberg, Germany. My dad was in the Army at the time.

Those are all the ones I have come across so far.

BTW...Where's the hot tub? I haven't found it yet...

Hi everyone. Just a real quick post, then I am hitting the sack. I bet I fall asleep mid-air.

The party was really fun! But I'm super exhausted. Holly was so happy, it makes it worth all the work. She's so good about thanking everyone, over and over. She gave her parentals big hugs and thanks for the party too, again makes it worth the work. She's a sweetie, she deserves nice parties. My angel.

kismetdreams I didn't forget your hot tub. In fact, I may hop in before bed. It's in the most wonderful spot. Just out back but slightly off to the right. You can see both the MK and the EPCOT fireworks from it. It's surrounded by trees on the other sides. Very secluded and private as it is sunken into the ground this time. Speaking of hot tubs did you get in the one at CS? It used to be the largest on DIS property, but not anymore. WE, the TAGLIARCHY, have the largest. I wanted to make sure everybody could fit if everyone came at once. I meant to send you a PM but didn't get time to today with the party business going on. What section did you stay in? I requested Cabanas, really hope we get it.

danauk - have you seen "About a Boy"? I bought it on DVD a couple weeks ago and I just love it. I think it's my fav. Hugh Grant movie, but I really liked him in "Two Weeks Notice" too.

Oddball - wondered why you weren't at the party. We missed you! Shoulda come, Jude was there.

I'll have lots of pictures to post, maybe tomorrow or Monday. DHB took lots and should be quicker on posting since she's digitally-enabled.

See ya in the hot tub! If any of you come out and find me face-down floating, please flip me over.

Kismetdreams, we waited about a month to go on our honeymoon and I'm really glad we did. We got to spend some time with out of town family and friends that didn't leave right away. Plus we got to open all our gifts right after our wedding AND it allowed me to get all the TYs out before we left. Glad I didn't have that hanging over my head while we were away.

Hey llebrekniT, glad Holly's party was a success. I'll join you in the hot tub (and make sure you don't start floating butt up. :hyper: )

We, or rather I, had a quiet afternoon. I spent a bit of time on the computer then fell asleep for an hour or two. ohanafamily was out relaxing the way he likes best - shopping at CompUSA. I think he really likes afternoons like that - no nagging wife with him.

So what does everyone have planned for tomorrow? We may go to a movie, one that opened yesterday...

You, my dear, have a Holly on your hands. How old is she? Holly will be seven next week. She loves the spa treatment too. She's had more manicures than me in her young life. I usually let her get one while I'm having my hair done. I, on the other hand, have never had a manicure. I painted my toenails last night and of course had to do hers too.

Abbie's 3. Had a blast at her hair appointment today, as always. When we met DH afterwards she says "Look, Daddy! I'm more pretty now!" She just tickles me when she gets her hair done...so cute, prim and proper....sits up nice and straight and just grins the whole time. The salon ladies just encourage her, too...they keep stopping by telling her how pretty she is, how well behaved....her hairdresser (did I just say my 3-year-old has a hairdresser? yep...calls her Miss Bonnie :) ) anyway...her hairdresser says no other kids ever sit still like she does....at least not until they're 9 or 10! Anyway, will post a pic of her fresh do tomorrow...digital camera was dead so snapped one with the regular...but will charge up the dig. and take a pic to post and send to the grands...

Brother (the terrorist) had a great day with DH. Must just be me.... maybe DH needs to get him a stateroom on the boat and take him with him when he goes to see this spring/summer..... Just kidding! DH thinks I'm overreacting, so we've not done the pacifier thing yet. May have to play "deaf" and let him get up every time from now on at night (he doesn't get up at all because it wakes me way before it wakes him)....then he'll see what I'm talking about

Hi:wave:
NC Beast just went off to work...we do a checklist just about every time he leaves. Tonight, I had to repeat an item (his work id badge) at least three times before he realized that he wasn't wearing it.

He did an awesome job on the london broil on the bbq today. We are having fajitas tomorrow out of the leftovers. We had a quiet day today.

One of qotd/wknd---I like to sing to the Lion King songs and the non-Disney would be the theme song to Stark Trek: Enterprise.

Sunday---we are probably go somewhere after NC Beast has a power nap after work and church.

Wow short trip for NC Beast---he dropped his wallet in the driveway. At least he didn't drive to far without it.

:o I am going to be in trouble for typing that.

Well, off to bed Taglicans...

Got most of the stuff for the swap all sorted out....just one more thing to find.... maybe tomorrow, maybe next week.

For those of you looking for the address and final details, check your PM's.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday
Nite!

Good morning everyone,
Well the clocks have gone foreward here and I nearly forgot!! I remembered just as I went to bed so I changed the clocks upsatirs but not down satirs. Then when I got up this morning it took me a few seconds to realize why the clocks downstairs were an hour earlier than my watch!!

Kismetdreams I enjoyed DLP when I went. I think the rides are better there than at WDW but obviously it is no where near as big as WDW. I loved Space Mountain and Indiana Jones. I also liked the fact that Thunder Mountain took you underground and the mountain was on it's own in the middle of the lake. I was a little dissapointed with this ride at WDW as I didn't think it was as long. I'm looking foreward to going back (look at my count down!) We only looked in the MK when we went before so I am looking foreward to seeing the studios, Disney Village and the resorts.

llebrekniT I have About a Boy on DVD too and I love that film. If you like that you will love Love Actually. I love the part in About a Boy when they are at the park and he manages to kill the duck by throwing the loaf of bread at it accidentally!! I'm glad Holly's party went well for her, it sounds like you had a great time.

So does anyone have good plans for today? I guess I have to do the washing, a little cleaning and some school work. Oh and clean the bunny cage out as well and I might try to do a little more gardening whilst I am out in the garden. Nothing exciting for me today.

Where is everyone today?
That little bit of gardening I was going to do turned out to be quite a lot!! I pruned some bushes, dug out 2 bushes and re planted one of them in a dtfferent place, planted a new bamboo and cleared the space for my new water feature!! Then I pulled all the blanket weed out of the pond and trimmed the pond plants! Now its time for lunch :) DH is busy tidying his shed and then he will sort out the garage whilst I clean out the bunnies and do some more housework. I guess spring is really here now :D

Well I was still in my comfy bed when you last posted Danauk. It was only 6:20 in the morning, on a Sunday no less. Tomorrow on the other hand I will just be getting out of bed to workout at that time. :teeth:

We don't have any real plans for today. It's gray and yucky out, maybe going to rain some more. I know ohanafamily is already in the kitchen, clearing off the table. He had all the taxes paperwork spread out there for the last couple of weeks so we actually ate in the dining room. I have lots of laundry to do - hate that job so it usually waits until we're desperate.

How about omlettes, Mickey toast, pancakes, orange juice, cereal and milk (I think there's still some Cocoa Puffs and Cocoa Krispies left) and fresh fruit for breakfast. Since I'm up (unusual for me this early on a Sunday) I'll even cook.

I'll join you in some Mickey toast as an afternoon snack, then I must clean out my poor bunnies and do some planning for work. There just doen't seem to be enough hours in the day today!!

Good Morning everyone!

I'm at work today. I love Sunday at work. I am the only person in the building until 1pm.

Holly's party was really fun. Josh got to swim a lot & Lainie got in the water for a while. I took a bunch of pictures, I'll try & post some tonight when I get home.

Danauk, I wanted to see Love Actually when it came out in the theaters. I wonder if it is out on DVD here. Hmm, I may need to run by Blockbuster on may way home. Is Emma Thompson in it? I really like her.

I brought some warm Krispy Kremes to go along with RRBB's breakfast offering.

Have a great day everyone!

Oh, I sing to EVERYTHING! I don't listen to the radio in the car, I listen to CD's mostly. I'd say one of the songs I sing the loudest (& the worst) would be "All That Jazz" from the Chicago soundtrack.

Morning y'all! Popping back in before my next wave of reunion activities. Today is buffett brunch at a FABULOUS Mexican restaurant...I've been dying to try it, and am glad there is now an excuse. Then some people need to be taken to the airport, then I'm coming home to SLEEP. Can't believe I've been up till 2AM two nights (mornings?) in a row....I am so going to crash this afternoon.

We spent 3 hours on the lake on a pontoon boat yesterday. It was so beautiful, and I can't imagine why I haven't done this before. The lake is very long and narrow, you feel like you are going down a river, and is surrouned by huge cliffs covered with desert plants and wildlife.....saguaro cactus, big horn sheep. Quite an experience. Canyon Lake is in the Superstition Mts. where the Lost Dutchman gold mine is supposed to be...any of you ever hear of it? Then a big wad of beef and country dancing last night. Haven't consumed very many alcohol units...which is a good thing or I'd never survive the lack of sleep!

I will answer the QOTD: I sing along to ALL OF THEM! I've done a lot of singing along this weekend, as we had the 'oldies' station on the radio as we were driving to the lake yesterday.

I'll check in on you all at the end of the day. Oh, BTW, loved Love Actually....I'm a huge Alan Rickman fan!....hmmm maybe I'll rent Robin Hood tonight......"No more merciful beheadings...cancel Christmas" he tore up the scenery in that one!

Wow ibouncetoo! Sounds like yesterday was great. My idea of a perfect afternoon. I'm glad you had such a good time. Oh, and Mexican for brunch sounds wonderful.

Where is llebrekniT? My guess is that she is doing laundry & figuring out who needs what before their big trip TUESDAY!!!! I know she said Daniel needs new shorts, so maybe they went shopping. I think I'll call & harass her.

Deadheadbelle, just sent you a PM. ;)

ibouncetoo it sounds like you had a great time. I hope you enjoy your Mexican brunch. One thing that I found strange when I visited San Diego was that the Mexican food was a lot less spicy and I thought quite bland compared to Mexican restaurantes in Europe!

So the bunnies have been cleaned and one lot of planning done along with two loads of washing! Only English planning and another load of washing to do then sort out all the bits and pieces that DH has got out of the garage when he was sorting it out. You can get my car in the garage again though :)

I guess I better finish my cup of tea and then get on with it again then!! And I thought Sunday was supposed to be a day of rest!

llebrekniT are you nearly ready for your trip then? Where are you staying? I'm nearly into single digits :teeth: but will think about getting things ready next weekend when we have a week to go and I am on school holiday. I'm not sure which DLP hotel we are staying in, it is a surprise. I guess I will find out when we get there, they all look good though.

Danauk, I am so jealous that you are getting to go back! I really enjoyed DLP, as well, but when I went, there was only one park, and nothing else! It's changed lot in 4 years! :) This trip, are you just going to DLP, or are you going to Paris, as well?

One of these days, Brian and I are going to fly out and do DL Hong Kong and DL Tokyo. Who knows, maybe we'll get stationed in Japan, and then it'll be an easy trip for us!

Hope everyone is having a good day!
