Talked to [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] around 8:30pm. They were waiting for their food at Beaches & Cream. They went to MGM first. She was telling me about the different sundaes. She was watching some guy finish off his sundae & trying to decide which one she was going to order. All I have to say is, I can't wait for her to get back so we can start planning the October trip. I am going nuts!

QOTD: My first job was answering the phone in a small vetrinarian (sp?) office. My mom & dad were friends with the vet & I would go after school & help out. $3.25/hour was minimum wage then. I was paid under the table as I was only 14. My first real job with a real (taxed) paycheck was checkout girl at a grocery store. It was eye-opening for me. I was shocked to see all the people with food stamps driving better cars than my parents ever did & using their coin change from the food stamps to buy cigarettes. Oh, how naive I was....

My first job (other than babysitting) was working for Santa Clause, no, really, it was. Our Chamber of Commerece had Santa come every year for the two weeks before Christmas and he and Mrs Clause gave out candy canes, did the lap thing, and had poloroids taken. My job was to keep the kids in line and make sure the photographer had all the necessary supplies. I did this my Jr and Sr years of high school. The first time I every got a paycheck, went on my dinner break and bought Christmas presents for my family (Santa was VERY impressed that I spent my money on others!). The 'photographers' were boys from the audio-visual club at the high school and I did get a kiss under the mistletoe one year!

Hi, just poping in...

Jessie is here too ---she wants to be held while I try to type. That's hard too do to with her at 60 lbs.--We shouldn't had gotte in the habit as a puppy. She is upset that I was in and out all day. Tomorrow, I am leaving for a road trip with friends, and poor NC Beast and Jessie have to stay home. He has to work Friday night to Noon Saturday. I will be computerless.

I have forgotten your question s&k'smom about my impression of The Passion. I thought it was real intense-I was sick in the parking lot after seeing the blood and the crow plucking out the eyes. And---I did not confess about any crimes.

Well, looks like we're gettting back to our old chatty selves...

Just a quick check-in before bed. Road-tripped up to Richmond to go to Pottery Barn Kids to get a train table for Walt. Been waiting over 4 months to find one at the outlet, but haven't so got stuck paying full price I hate paying full price for anything... it's just against my nature. Oh well....at least he can play with his train better now....

We have one cat, Alex, she's a black and white that looks very similar to one in DanaUK's siggie DD wants a puppy but we're down-sizing in the animal dept, not increasing.... had to have our older cat put to sleep in December and aren't interested in replacing her any time soon. Alex is somewhere between 10 and 12, so she's got some years left on her

Well, I seem to have gotten a cold today thanks to all the weird and wondrous weather changes around here lately. I think my head's going to explode from all the pressure....just going to lay my head down and hope it eases in the morn....

Some QOTD responses--we only have the free Disney travel DVD, Star Wars:The Phantom Menace, E.T., JAWS, LOTR (the first two), and the Winsor Pilates. I don't know where the other title one we have---NC Beast must have at work. I bought ET, LOTR, and Jaws at the same time at Christmas. We used to do Netflix--cut it out to save money.

My TV pleasure is definitely Star Trek: Enterprise and Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

I don't think I will do any practical jokes this year. Does anyone have a good story?

Hi all. Woke up, can't get back to sleep. Must have too much running through my mind or something.

Hey Deadheadbelle, I say start planning without her. Just let her know all the wonderful things you've already planned to do when she gets back. Don't you have a planning book or something.

I planned out a trip or two of ours - made a spreadsheet with all the PS reservations we had, which parks to do each day, who we were meeting up with/when/where - and all ohanafamily did was laugh and make fun of me. I haven't done that for the last few trips because we didn't make as many plans beforehand. (Plus I got tired of him laughing at me for it. Don't even get him started about the research I did before we went on the 7 day cruise.)

I bought a book (from the DIS shop) for our upcoming trip to WDW though. It's called Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets. We've found a few, had a few pointed out to us. But I want to find more. (Plus I saw a really cool scrapbook layout someone did and now I want to do something similar.)

Okay that makes me think of a QOTD: What's your biggest obsession? (Besides Disney of course)
If you can't tell, I'm obsessed with scrapbooking. The only mags I read/subscribe to are for scrapbooking. I have at least 3 scrapbooking websites bookmarked and in my Links toolbar that I check many times a day, I have a whole room just for scrapping, I can't keep away from scrapping conventions and such. One track mind?

Hey [COLOR=33FF00]Depplyinluv[/COLOR], I have crophy from a baby pageant. I was crowned "Supreme Crown Princess" when I was 2 or 3 for the Soroptimist Club. The thing was, title was based on the number of tickets sold in your name not how pretty or talented you were. I have no idea who signed me up, though cuz no one in my family was a member. They actually created my title special for me that year. Usually they only crowned a King and Queen. I didn't have enough tickets in my name to be Queen but blew away the rest of the competition for honorable mention or something. The crophy I won was almost as tall as I was.

Have fun on your road trip [COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR]. Where are you going anyway? We'll keep an eye on [COLOR=FF3300]NC Beast[/COLOR] and Jessie for you while you're gone - if they check in that is.

Okay, I'm heading back to bed now. See if I can't get in another hour of so of sleep. I'll leave the Cocoa Puffs, bowl, and spoons on the counter for anyone that gets up early and can't wait for a hot breakfast. Cheeringmom, wasn't American Idol ridiculous last night? Who is voting for that red-headed guy (I hope not you!)??? He was so awful it is not even funny. Who would actually buy a CD by him???? No one, that's who!! OK, I feel better. Thanks for breakfast, I will have the blueberry muffins. Yum Yum.

RRBB, I hope you got some more sleep! I have a Passporter book that I like to look through, but [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] & I like to get together & plan. It is so much fun. We really can plan too terribly much until we can make definite PS's, but we still have fun talking about it.

QOTD, my biggest non-Disney obsession? hmmm. Used to be the Grateful Dead. I used to eat, drink & sleep Grateful Dead, 24/7. Not so much anymore, but I still love 'em & listen to them most of the time. I read a lot of celebrity magazines, but I wouldn't say I am "obsessed" with them. DH may disagree, though. I have just started scrapping (a big THANKS to RRBB) & I can see how one could become obsessed.

Well, my mom was speechless (she was already babysitting the 2 they had all the time as it was & the littlest one wasn't even 1 year old), well not really speechless, I think she said a cuss word under her breath. [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] said APRIL FOOL'S!! It was hysterical. They have since had another hellion, but it wasn't for another year.
