Good Morning everyone!
Cheeringmom, wasn't American Idol ridiculous last night? Who is voting for that red-headed guy (I hope not you!)??? He was so awful it is not even funny. Who would actually buy a CD by him???? No one, that's who!! OK, I feel better. Thanks for breakfast, I will have the blueberry muffins. Yum Yum.
Have a great day everyone!

nope. stopped voting when I could never get thru for Clay last year. Yes, last night was a joke. My dh rarely watches AI but was totally floored when Amy got the boot. He even said it was a bad call-he rarely gets this emotional!!:teeth:

My biggest non dis obession??? Working with Lauren to help her overcome her difficulties. nothing else I guess.

Thanks for breakfast Cheeringmom please pass the chocolate syrup for the pancakes..

Deadheadbelle I think that llebrekniTis going to AK today with Lunch at the RainForest..

non Disney obsession - hmm.. CHOCOLATE..

Yes, American Idol was RIDICULOUS last night....so sad Amy was voted off....I must say I really like the red-headed guy but only when he sings Sinatra, such a smooth voice but the song he sang Tues nt was horrendous.....can't imagine why he sang it....don't they have a voice coach or someone who helps them rehearse.......poor Amy, she deserved better.......you can bet the red-headed guy is counting his lucky stars as we speak, um, type I mean...;)

.....gotta agree with geffric on AK as llebrekniT's park of choice this morning. So do I win another HIPPO???? The one I won last night is looking mighty lonely.........but if we both win, how in the world would we split a hippo:teeth:

I'll second that vote for AK. It's wet and miserable and wet and ... well you get the idea. So buse today I don't have time for colors and I might skip a few words too. Spring concert is tonight (oldest plays french) so the world is topsy turvy for today. I might check in later. :wave2:

Oops, I forgot to say thanks for the breakfast RRBB and Cheeringmom. Heaven knows I don't have time to fix myself something right now!:teeth:

I'm up again. Thanks for the hot breakfast Cheeringmom. I could use the boost before I start cleaning for the maid.

OMG Deadheadbelle, I can't believe sweet llebrekniT would do that to her MIL. Especially saying it was Nancy-Pants.

disneyluversWish your son good luck at the concert tonight for me.....I hope he's not too stressed about it :)

Good news about our 2 doctor's visits on Tues

.....took a shaking and shivering Cadbury to the vet Tues and all her tests came back negative...hooray! It's been years since I've left the vet's office without a guilt trip about my sweet dog being overweight or has dirty ears, etc that made me feel like a bad parent, I mean,owner.....but, except for last year's cancer scare, the vet (new to the office) was impressed that my almost 12 yr old lab was doing so well at her age.....at a good weight, barely any arthritis, no ear infections and wasn't on any geriatric dog drugs......he couldn't even believe that I've only given her Purina dog food and not that expensive stuff from the vet's office.....

....took a shaking and shivering DS9 to the orthodontist Tues and luckily he said DS9 probably wouldn't need braces for another yr...hooray....we still have $$$ for WDW!

Maybe i won a hippo too for guessing where they were going to dinner and for Ak.. so cadburysmom we could keep them at AK and let the vets take care of them and feed them..or they could stay at your house. I have a very small backyard..BTW don't want to scoop those poops..

Maybe Deadheadbelle would make them CHOCOLATE hippos and their poop would be made of chocolate....but on second thought, I just couldn't deal with chocolate poop either so let's just get her to make them chocolate hippos that DON'T poop.......agreed?

Hello one and all,

Couple of things. My people don't eat fondue. Only people from the midwest eat that stuff when they're trying to act all foofoo cosmopolitan. Puh-lease! No offense Ohana!! LOL!

As for the last DVD I bought, it was Freddy vs. Jason of course!

And for obsessions other than Disney, it's gotta be the horror genre in general, from movies, to books!

And finally, pets. Well, I think you all have heard about my bundle of demon fur, Bill. 'nuff said.

And guys... put... the hippo... back!

RickinNYC No way, he's MY hippo, I won him fair and square and I'm NOT putting him back......jealous much?

I resemble that remark...

and I am keeping all of my chocolate hippos in a locked valult on the Island that only cadburysmom and I have the key too... plus we may melt some of the chocolate for fondue...
:teeth:

I don't have any obsessions, Disney or otherwise. Nuh uh, nope! None here. Just stay away from my Wonka stash, that is if you can find where I hid it. By the way, I have it boobie-trapped and an alarm will go off if you get within 50 feet of it.

geffric & cadburysmom, it looks like Hippo poop all around! Yep, they just pulled into the parking lot at AK. They are going to try to hit the Safari & The Lion King Show. My brother & Daniel have tickets to a spring training baseball game at WWS (Braves vs. Astros), so they will be leaving early. I told llebrekniT that you had thought they'd be having lunch at Rainforest, but she said "think cheaper". My guess is that they'll end up having Pizzafari.

She ended up being too full after her cheeseburger at Beaches & Cream to get a sundae  . She said Daniel got a malt & it was yummy. She had raspberry syrup added to her Diet Coke & said it was really yummy.

disneyluvers, good luck to your DS tonight!

Morning, Thanks for the breakfast...

RRBB, obsess about cleaning before the maid gets to the house?

I obsess about RRBB. What can I say...I love her. I sometimes argue with her, ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE WANTS TO PLAY A CRUEL PRACTICAL JOKE ON MY MOTHER, but I still LOVE HER.

OK, speaking of hippos, another QOTD, Best Auction you ever won... I was at a "Zoo-To-Do" and got a Dallas Zoo Adopt a Pet. The pet was a Rhinoceros. I got it for my 7YO Nephew (before they stopped wanting me around) (doesn't every 7YO boy need a pet Rhino?) (BTW Dear brother, as cheap as he is, made them put both children's names on the plaque...)

:bounce:

ok, I've got a conundrum(my new favorite word)....my DS9(age, not # of children) has to wear a school uniform, blue pants and white shirt w school logo from Lands End. There is a girl in his 4th grade class who is in love with him and won't leave him alone. She constantly calls our house and IM's him on the computer. He told me she constantly jumps on him at recess but I told him he cannot hit a girl, no matter what. Recently, she's been running up to him and pulling on his clothes in an effort to get his attention....well it's been getting MY attention because I'm the one who is constantly sewing on buttons and mending the rips......I think she's really cute and because I agree that my son's a hottie;), I've been pretty laid back about the whole thing .......until last week when she tore a huge rip in his shirt......and then it happened again twice this week....shirts from Lands End are NOT cheap and now we have three shirts that are ruined:(......I said nothing to the girl's mom but DS9 is running out of wearable shirts so I mentioned to his teacher in a good-natured way that she keep an eye on the little girl....his teacher said she was obviously aware of the 'puppy love' situation and the girl had been warned several times......the teacher in turn mentioned this to the little girl's mother who in turn just called me and let me know how upset she was that I didn't go to her about it first.....AND that I should punish MY son for leading her daughter on AND that she would NOT reimburse me for the torn shirts. Well I told her I never asked to be reimbursed and when I was young I wasn't allow to call boys.....then the mother said she didn't believe her daughter has ever called my son....well, I've got the caller ID records to prove it so she's on her way over right now to take a look.....what have I gotten myself into? This is ridiculous but I can't wait to see her face when she sees for herself that I was telling the truth.......I really don't care that much about the torn shirts except that DS9 really is required to wear them at school and we only have two untorn ones left. If she offers to buy new ones I'm thinking of letting her do it because I KNOW she's going to be SO embarrassed about her daughter's actions, not to mention her own......still can't believe she doesn't believe me about the phone calls........oops, here she is now.....I'll let you know how it turns out

Oooh, a soap opera right here in the TAGLIARCHY. Can't wait to hear what happens next cadburysmom. (I can't believe she thought you should punish your son over her actions. What in the world???)
