How's everyone's day going? We went to another movie. ohanafamily took me to see Shrek2. But we went to a different location than we usually go to. We were the first ones to sit down, but by the time the movie started the theater had filled in considerably. We had this really noisy family behind us - they couldn't decide who would sit where; the mother, as soon as the actual movie started, started rustling a grocery bag with their snacks or something; they talked throughout the movie; and the kid sitting right behind me kept kicking my chair and he was sneezing constantly. I liked the movie but just don't think we enjoyed it as much as we should have with all that racket.

Oh, and after the movie - in the bathroom - the mother noticed my shirt. (It has Tigger, Pooh and Eeyore on it.) After telling her she could find it at the Disney store she asked if I saw Shrek. My answer was, "Yes. And I believe you were sitting right behind me making all kinds of noise during it." Then I walked out.

ohanafamily complained at guest services about the noise and bad experience in the theater - it just opened a couple months ago and this was our first time there - so the manager gave us 2 passes to any AMC theater for another movie.

I just got back from my vacation and I am pooped! I see that I now hold the TAGLIARCHY

!!! Yay!!

Thank you for whoever is responsible!!!!

I won't be able to talk in a while because I have so much to do.... cleaning the Florida room (it's our room between the outside and the house, idk how else to describe it!!) and I have to stretch a bunch to work off all the delicious food I ate in New Orleans!! Drill team camp is in 2 weeks!!!! I'm gonna die!!!

Oh, but I LOVE A&M so much!! We had a campus tour this morning before the LONG drive home, and it was awesome!! But who knows where I really will go....

Wow, a few pages to catch up on here!! Family is great, we're having the best time...I'm just a tad tired. I'm not used to going to bed at 2-3 every morning!! Today I slept till 12 That might be the latest I've ever slept!! But we're having a lot of fun and I love them being here!!

Hi guys just a quick update....we are officially moved into the new house and out of the old opne. Hooray1 Up to my batootie in boxes.

Welcome back everyone who has been away.

Yes, I slept in yesterday, took DW to a movie, and watched cartoons most of the day. I didn't even touch my computer!!!
I feel almost totally over my cold!!!

[COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR], Nieceosaurus and I watched 3 episodes of American Chopper. We agree that the bikes are really cool, but Nieceosaurus is NOT into tattoos, and thinks that Paul Senior is NOT hot!. Paul Junior is OK in a boyish kind of way, but definately..the boys in this show are not the quality of Orly..... or Johnny.....

Cheeringmom, congrats on the move, I am sure the helped...

YOU GO RRBB! People should know how rude and obnoxious they are in theatres! I went to see Harry Potter this past Friday and these two teenaged girls sat behind me. They talked in normal tones of voice all through the previews, which annoyed me, but the movie hadn't started yet, so I didn't say anything. But as soon as the movie started and they continued to talk to each other like they were sitting on the couch in their living room, I turned around and said..."You two are going to have to stop talking now! Please!" (It was a very curt please, but I'm polite after all.) They apologized (and looked a little scared) and didn't say another word through the 2 1/2 hour movie!!

I'm glad you said something. I hope it made a difference in how she behaves with her family the next time she's at the theatre, but I doubt it. And YIPPEEE on two movie passes.

billysotherdad, isn't amazing how many rude people there are at the movies these days. I highly doubt my comment made any impact on that woman, especially since we'd both turned around and said something to her in the theater. Usually I let these things go but with my short fuse these days I have no problem speaking my mind when I get ticked off. Boy, being pg really has changed me in that respect.

Glad you got all moved Cheeringmom. And it looks like you got hooked up pretty quickly - we don't have to wait for days to hear from you.

Okay, off to run some errands then come home and pack. I really don't want to be up all night like I often am the night before a trip.

Oh alright, I'll tell it!

We went to some movie, not sure which. The movie was just about to start when a middle aged woman and a girl of about 13 or so sat immediately behind Joe and I. Without any effort to whisper, they launched into chit chat. Commenting about this, chatting about that. What surprised me the most was the woman. She was the absolute worst!

She kept saying inane things like "OOOoooohhh... look at that sunset. Isn't it just beautiful?" "This is such a comfortable seat." "(Insert movie star here) is such a terrific actor."

All as loud as one would speak to someone sitting across from you in your TV room.

So I turned around and gave the glare. She just stared right back at me.

And she kept it up.

Then I turned around, held my finger up to my lips and shushed her. She GLARED at me as if "how dare you?"

And she kept it up. Chattering like a little bird idiot.

So I turned around and loudly said, "Shut UP!"

And she glared at me, and said, "All you have to do is ask nicely and be polite."

Which just pushed me over the edge. Mind you, others in the theater were shushing her and shouting out from across the joint that she should be quiet.

When she said that, I just boiled over and said, "POLITE?! LADY, WE'RE NOT IN YOUR FRIGGIN' LIVING ROOM! YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER! SHUT THE FRIG UP!"

Now, I didn't really say "frig". I said something else if you catch my drift.

Joe just giggled and folks around us chuckled or quietly applauded. She and the girl got up and left rather quickly and never came back.

Actually, Joe's incident happened this past Friday. The other that I described happened last year or two.
