I would love to drive up to Phoenix and get into one of [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] suitcases and meet you all in October! We are going in November and I can't afford two trips in a year! That would be the only way I could make it!

Just back for a second before heading out to rehearsal - another afternoon where I am made to feel untallented by a bunch of kids I mean some of these kids are really 18 year olds but their waist is the same size as one of my legs and they have singing voices that are amazing!!

Cheeringmom I hope you get your house move completed OK. When do you officially move out of your current house?

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYBODY!

I come bearing gifts:

Hot Dogs/Hamburgers/Baby Back Ribs/Brats/Chicken Breasts and Polish Sausage for the grill.

Assorted buns and rolls

Potato Salad/Cole Slaw/Macaroni Salad

Deviled Eggs/Olives (green and black)/sweet and dill pickles

Mustard/Ketchup/Mayo/Grey Poupon/onions/tomatoes/saurkraut and some nice chili for chili-dogs

Celery stuffed with cream cheese

Fruit filled Jello mold

Apple pie/cheesecake/chocolate layer cake (from Claim Jumper)

Watermelon and other assorted fresh fruit

There's plenty of beer and soft drinks in the cooler. We serve ourselves today, as the celebrity bartenders are spending the holiday with their families!



Last one in the pool is a rotten egg!

There is no need to serve ourselves, Wills and Hugh are English so have offered to bar tend still!

[COLOR=CC00CC]Kismetdreams[/COLOR] they may be thin but they also know what chocolate tastes like as they eat enough of it but still stay thin!!

Oh well, we have just got in from rehearsal (we left early as it is not supposed to finish until 7pm but I figured as we are doing this voluntary a 6 hour rehearsal on a Sunday was a bit much! We were there for 4 hours though.) I guess I should go and make some dinner.

You have a lake house!! You can go off some people really easily you know I'm only jealous!! My parents have a caravan at the coast so when I was growing up I lived in the city during the week and at the coast during the summer weekends.

Hey everyone, Happy Independence Day!!!

ohanafamily and I are heading off to the movies today - either Shrek 2 or Spiderman 2. Maybe we'll do them both, who knows. And for lunch or dinner it's gotta be KFC and watermelon. If we watch any fireworks it will be on TV. (ohanafamily hates crowds, the bugs this year are awful, and traffic is miserable. So home we stay at night.)

Thanks for the lovely BBQ spread [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR]. Do you mind if I bring a nice thick, juicy steak to add to the grill? I'm kind of in the mood for that instead of hamburgers/chicken today. I'll bring a nice pasta salad, too. (So easy to make and yummy, though ohanafamily won't eat it. It's made with an italian dressing and he doesn't like anything where you can taste the vinegar.)

Good luck beating the rain Cheeringmom. I hope you get everything moved before it starts coming down.

We may go see one of those movies this week. I don't want to go to the state fairgrounds for the fireworks. We never went to DC while we were growing and living in the area for the 4th---always super, super crowded and seems like there is rain almost every year. I remember going to a nice display at Naval Academy in Annapolis with my sister and her high school friends in 1986. It was cool hearing a cannon go off their to the overture. NC Beast and I went to a good one outside of Baltimore (Oregon Ridge) just before our 1st anniversary in 1997. It had the Baltimore Symphony at that display that year.

My favorite Disney one is Wishes. We need to check the others out next time.

THen you will sympathize with my sad story from yesterday.
Friday afternoon, after getting home from work early, I take the two BEAUTIFUL tenderloin steaks out of the fridge (that I had taken out of the freezer that morning) and as they are still quite frozen, I decide to set them out on the counter for a bit. Not 30 mins later I decide to take puppy Cara over to my sisters to play with her dogs and FORGET TO PUT THE STEAKS BACK IN THE FRIDGE!!! We proceed to stay overnight Friday night and I don't get home till about 4PM Saturday afternoon. It hurt to throw those babies away Even on sale, they had cost a pretty penny.

Well, I'm off to shower and start my day....Spiderman2 at 2PM! Followed by early dinner at one of my new favorite places, Red Fish....I'm going to have a shrimp margaritta! Don't gag.....it's an appetizer, not a drink!

Yes, it is our old house. When we decided to move, we kept it!! My Maw-maw fixed it up really pretty.....it's like a beach house!! It's sooo pretty!!!!!!!

It is on Lay Lake!! I love it!!
