I'm home.....where's my Fosters?
If you go to your User CP and click on Edit Options, at the bottom you will see a button to "Change Avatar". When you click on that button you will end up on a page that shows a list of Avatars you can choose from or "Use custom avatar". The note for the custom avatar says Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 4000 bytes (whichever is smaller). The next two spaces allow you to either enter the URL where the picture is you want to use for your avatar or upload a picture from your computer to use.Originally posted by ohanafamily
OK, TalkisCheap, I do not know the limits for avatars, but if it is too big you can't upload it. I asked for you on the Tech Support board, and I will post any answer I get...

I'm pretty sure Mel has it, but the question is, WHO HAS MEL???
Sounds like some wonderful traditions, and lots of fun too. Almost makes me want to celebrate Christmas. Almost. But you can't beat 8 nights of Hanukkah as a child. Eight nights of presents, games, and yummy food.Originally posted by kadaten

CANNONBALL!!! Hope I didn't get you wetBartender (any of them will do...DH is out of town so a lonely girl is not picky!), I'll have whatever the lady on the floor is having
Weren't there some QOTD:
Avatar: That's my current antennae ball. I use that one because I love Mickey and as a military wife am pretty patriotic
Christmas traditions: Oh my....LOTS of them...
--must bake and decorate Christmas cookies every year, with my mom if she comes, without her if she doesn't; give them for gifts, eat them ourselves, leave some for Santa, but we MUST have cookies....last year we were traveling and didn't do anyYear before that, we had 12 different varieties
I love to bake
--we have lots of ornaments from childhood on up....while we take them out to decorate the tree we reminisce about where/why we got each one
--each child has their own mini-tree in his/her room with their ornaments on it....and some are on the big tree, too...
--stockings are a big deal in our house...almost just as aniticipated as the presentsDH made all of ours....beautiful cross-stitched ones!! All four
--we open presents whenever everyone is there...Christmas Eve, Day, whatever....family are sometimes with us until the day before so we open when they're here.....with the amount the kids have been getting from the grandparents it usually takes 3 days to get through them all anywayI'm putting my foot down this year....half of what's spent on them must go in their college account!! They have WAY too many toys, junk, etc....
--we always watch all the favorites....Charlie Brown Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, Rudolph, The Grinch, etc....
--Christmas carols are wafting through the house....
--growing up we went to Christmas Eve mass....the early one as that's when the children't choir sang....but haven't been attending church regularly in awhile, but this will probably be back in our traditions soon....
I just love the holidays....we're already planning for this year's as we're having both families up...it's our last year in this house so we're going to do it up right![]()

First Cmom and now you. Look girls, it's wonderful that you are blonde and everything, but do you have to point out to us that you're a "little blonde"?<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_29_127.gif' border=0></a>
um, I meant my hair was partly blonde, not that I'm little, as in skinny, the scales and these tight shorts do NOT lie!
I'm going to read some books to the Ella bug in the hopes of getting her to wind down. With our hectic schedule lately she's been up until 11:00 every night. I'm hoping to get her in by 10:30 tonight.
I'm right there with ya, girlfriend! One thing I do like about school nights is there is a set bedtime that we MUST follow whereas bedtime is up for grabs in the summer - guess you gotta take the good with the bad
