Well Miss Hobnob with the British Royality, I hobnobbed with the Swedish Royal Family. DH had a major crush on Princess Victoria. Oh, and my mom, Eric and I went over to the Air National Guard 174th to see the Clintons arrive when they came to Syracuse (Skaneateles) a bunch of years back. My mom shook his hand and got a picture of his nostrils. (She's around 5' tall.
)But ack! I can't think of anyone else! The Baldwin Brothers are from Syracuse (Camillus), and I think their mom still lives here, so they are in town once in a while. Richard Gere is from North Syracuse, so people see him once in a while. Oh, I have seen Bobcat Goldwaithe and Tim Kenny (Spongebob) around. They are from the neighborhood that I live in. I also went to school with Frank Whaley, if anyone knows who he is. He always plays the sidekick.

How could I forget?!?!?! In the late '90's John Tesh and I chatted a bit while we pushed our kids on the swings at a park in Cape Cod. Connie Selleca was there, but I don't think she was in a very good mood. Oh, and she looked like poopy. Meow.

Today we played the boys. Well, they were being obnoxious, and we were all about ready to hit them in the face with the ball. Chris was here today BTW. Well, I was running a "5" poisition today. So when they shoot free throws, I'm back under the other teams goal for defense. I was back there with Kyle and Chris. Chris walked up and said "well this should be easy kyle, we've got a slow one back here." Kyle said "yeah man, we can pass the ball back and forth, she'd never catch us." I looked at both of them, started to say something, but just rolled my eyes instead. Then Chris goes " we're not making fun of you..." I ignored him. "you hear me, we're not making fun of you, seriously..." I didn't say a word, just glanced at him, and then watched Brandie shoot her second shot.
Then, much later {4th period} he was throwing the ball in. I was on the bench with Lacey and Christina. He couldn't get it in, so he bounced it off of Jala and tried to dribble down court.
You should've seen Jala's face!!!!!! She was MAD!!!! 
She grabbed him when they hit half court. She grabbed his hair with one hand, his shirt with the other, and slammed him onto the floor!!!!
He slid a few feet!!! He was shocked!!! It was soooooo funny!!!!!!! And the whole time, coach was saying, "good foul Jala, great job!!"
It was hilarious!!!

Hi everybody ... back from Mommy Taxi. Now I have to make a gourmet salad for dinner club tonight.
Who's the gourmet chef??? Anyone know if I can substitute red wine vinegar for white wine vinegar in a spinach salad dressing recipe??? The only bottle of white wine vinegar was about 8 oz. for $6.99. Should call it white whine vinegar.
QOTD: Famous people I've seen up close and personal (besides far away in a concert hall):
Kathy Mattea - helped give a bridal shower at her house and was in a wedding with her. She had to sing The Lord's Prayer because the soloist got sick that a.m. and when she hit the high note (she's normally an alto), my DD Kelley age 4 said out loud for about 3 rows to hear... "that lady canNOT sing!"
Bobby Goldsboro - sat at his table with the Kathy Mattea group one night at a bar in Nashville
Alan Jackson - sat with him at a soccer game ... his DD was on Katie's team.
George Strait - sat behind the curtain backstage at his concert
Faith Hill - day after Thanksgiving in the mall, eating in the food court like everyone else
Barbara Mandrell - in my office
Vince Gill - at a movie theater in Nashville
Tonya Tucker - at a restaurant in Nashville (are we seeing a pattern here?)

You are correct...MgM on Sunday May 30---just missed Cadburysmom and her son....we were going to Beaches and Cream for lunch. It was our official first meal in the WDW.
I skipped breakfast to make sure to have room, but still could not finished my meal.

I met some NFL players (well---they are probably retired now) and various MD politicians from the 80's and early 90's. I have seen Tom Clancy and most likely Montel Williams and Pat Sajak. I met baseball players from the seventies--don't recall exactly who and maybe some other celebs. My in-laws have met the Pope and received rosaries from him. MIL works for a cardinal---not identifying. Saw Donald Trump and Marla Maples dancing on deck of one of his yachts years ago...when they were an item. There are probably other famous people that I met, but I don't remember who right now.

Ohana or Cadburymom's might confirm it.Famous ancestor: I heard that I might be related to John Smith somehow and I could be in DAR if I wanted too--the proof is somewhere in AL.

Hi all, I have been on flights with lots of famous people, I have also done lots of events where I was introduced to famous people. I think the most recent (non-Disney Person) was Benji; She was in my office and I got to pet her. We have lots of celebs who were customers too, but I have proof of Carl Lewis (a famous runner) and Danny Glover (I actually should burn that picture for political reasons...sorry, DB is gone...) I have some photos of them at a race event that were snapped of me. When I was in Gem School I partied with Lisa Lisa, Nu Shoes, Stacey Q, and several others. These are one shots that I can talk about, I shouldn't say anything about the customers.....

-$1425 Magical Beginnings (they buy back the first year of points

$12750 / 50 years = $255 per year.
Now, we divide that by 150 points to get $1.70 per point per year
So, the Buy in is $1.70 per point per year, and we add in the maintenance cost of $3.80 per point per year, to get $5.50.
Now we can figure out what a room will cost....
Our last trip we stayed at VWL in a 1 BR (2 weeks ago)
Weekdays the points were 28points per night, weekend were 56 points per night.
This means that on the week nights we paid the equivalent of $154 a night, and on the weekends we paid $308 per night
The Discounted rate is $355 (Rack rate is $473) including tax.
This amounts to a substantial savings. We used 280 points for 8 nights in a 1 BR, and paid for 1 weekend day.
You can see how quickly the savings add up. If you go more than once every 2 years, it is a good buy. if not, it seems to have retained it's value. I can still sell my points for what I paid for them, and feel I have gotten my money out of them. I will work on more detail for you tonight and I will send you a PM or 2.

Hmm, QOTD....basically no one. The Bush family and not only seen, but I've talked/shaken hands with former president Bush and his wife Barbara(that is her name, right? I couldn't think of it for the longest time) and then with current president Bush and Laura. I've also met Cal Ripken Jr. I've seen/shaken hands with other politicans but I didn't know who they were and so I guess they weren't very important! I met Jerry Remy...he isn't really a celebrity...unless you watch the sox games on NESN and love him like me! I've also met Kevin Millar, Kevin Youkilis and Abraham Nunez when they played for the Portland Sea Dogs before they made it to AAA and finally to the red sox(or marlins in Nunez's case). I also have Barbara Eden's autograph but I didn't meet her, my uncle did. Well, I'm only 13 and I do live in the stupidest stated ever, Maine, so I have time to catch up to all of you!
Who ever won the baby photo contest? I never did check my answers to the actual pictures...but I know I didn't win.
I've given up on trying to read the posts I missed...waaaay too many!

Since i am changing job I have a few extra vacation days that I HAVE to take... Actually, the company that I workd for has several "forced" vacation days each year when they shut down completely. Two of those days are July1 and July 2, I was going to work them and just work from home since I am leaving for WDW on July 3 for 2 weeks... BUT since I will be done with the one job , starting the new job July 1.. I can't work for the new job on the 1st and 2nd 'cause the company won't be open and I need to be trained before I start.. so I will take the 2 extra days ( which means that I would get ANYMORE days ever this year) and leave for WDW on Thursday aftenoon when DH gets home from work...
So I can be at WDW on Saturday, instead of SUNDAY!!! WOO HOO!! 
So I just booked All Star Sports for Saturday night JUlY 3rd..
Gotta love and Annual Pass!!!
