:rotfl: You said it sista!!

But if you guys are anything like my DH is you have a daughter, she is never to leave the house, must take karate to beat up any boys and will never hang out at the mall.

My DH is exactly the same. Lainie is 18 months old & he says she can date when she gets married. Can get her ears pierced when she is 18

RRBB  So sorry you are feeling poorly and hope you get better soon. Sending buckets of PD your way!:tilt:

I had to wait until I was 16 and my parents were out of the country to get my ears pierced....when they got back, I was on restriction for a month!

HI cadburysmom Glad you cleared that up...you know, it didn't sound like you were having too much fun this week with Jordon gone.. I really was wondering why when you had week to yourself to do all the projects etc that need to be done and that you were so generously giving all of your time to take care of your nephew.. Now I understand.. but i agree family is first and I am sure that the time you and he spent together was fun..

This weekend... tonight my Dad is coming over for dinner and then we are going to services to say prayers for my MOM.. Sat is running around, then I am not sure what we will do for dinner, his menu ideas are differnent than mine..

Maybe we can just skip dinner and head into dessert.:teeth:

Then sunday, I am meeting a friend from grammer school for breakfast, and our family is doing fathers day fruit and water in the afternoon..

Robin thinks it will be a boy, but regardless, Ear Piercing. No Way, At least 18 for a girl, and never for a boy. and No Way to any other kind of piercing. We will not have an attention starved child,,,,,

:bounce:

Morning guys! Was at a company retreat yesterday, hence the absence. Hope no one pined away too much for me!

Anyway, I caught up with the posts and Joe (Billysotherdad) neglected to mention that not only did he meet Jude Law, he also tracked down Stephen Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.

As an aside, Joe is co-chair on our junior board and is responsible for donated gifts and prizes for an upcoming fundraiser. He's been doing a ridiculously awesome job and is the talk/toast of our development department.

Back to the story. Joe saw Spielberg and Kapshaw get out of an SUV and go into a salad shop the other day. So of course, he strolls in, sidles up to them, introduces himself, chats and then asks for a donation. Which they agreed to do! (so did Jude Law by the way)

I'm so proud of the work he's doing on the board. He's never done anything like this before and he's found so many untapped talents in the process. He's awesome!

I'll stop crowing about the booger for now.

Morning Talikins!
It was kind of quiet around here yesterday.....at one point I had trouble getting on the DIS, so that may have had something to do with it.
I'M HUNGRY, and therefore may actually COOK breakfast for real this morning. Cyber food just ain't gonna cut it I fear.

Will be booking Oct airline tickets this weekend....just popped into the SW cite to make sure the flights to Tampa were still available at the $99 each way price. We can get that price to Orlando also, but flight times (with layovers) stink. Tampa is non-stop at convenient times, so it wins!

My summer/fall travel plans are shaping up nicely:
July weekend trip to Sedona at beautiful B&B
Aug one day turn-around to Coronado Island
Sept MOSTLY FREE trip to WDW (five nights)
Oct TAG MEET at WDW (six nights)
...gee, I hope there will be some money left to buy a couple of Christmas presents!

Have a good day everybody and stay out of trouble!

OMG Rick, Joe is amazing. I would be so nervous if I saw someone like Steven Spielberg. Years ago I saw Kelly Ripa at the Poly and was so nervous hid behind a rack, giggling like a little girl.

sorry to be confusing.. my family is celebrating father day this weekend instead of next because my dad is having surgery this tueday and won't be feeling well enough to celebrate on the 20th, plus my brother and family will be gone for their vacation, my boys will be leaving on the 20th for their week at Boy Scout camp, so they won't be around. I am possibly one of the drivers to camp, so I will be driving up to WI and back for 9 hours on the 20th..

Just because I haven't had time to post much lately doesn't mean I don't read every post, youngnewlyappointedhotshot!!! ;)

cadburysmom - if I tell you not to believe everything you read, it will unleash a torrent of comments from somepeoplethatwewillnotmentionbyname... so I won't say that. You missed a heckuva good party, regardless of who is telling the story! Seeing your Disney pictures makes me so excited ... even the hot and crowded part is better than not being there at all. Do ya think it will be hotter and crowdeder at the end of July? HA HA HA!

Back to reading... again...seems like all I do is read and read and read...

Wow! Way to go Joe. He didn't mentioned that he got a donation out of Jude. Pretty cool. I'd react more like S&K's Mom if I saw someone famous. I can't act cool. Nope, I'd freak out.

Hello TAGLIKINS!!!!

Well, my computer is finally fixed(thanks to myself)!!! I just spent the last 2 hours getting it all set up again, and the first thing I had to do was come and say hi! I've missed you guys! It's been horrible not being able to come on here to vent/talk/get scared by evil clowns, etc!!!!

Well, Wednesday was the championship meet. Despite some heavy showers at the beginning we got most of the events in(sadly only 2 of my 3). I placed 2nd or 17 in the 400(I ran my PR) and then 4th of 13 in the HJ(only jumped 4 feet...not my best)! It was so much fun, but I hate it being over! But, not to worry, since summer track starts Monday, tennis a week from Monday, and then basketball camps and summer get into full swing!! :teeth:

Well, I hope everyone is doing wonderfully. I have about 10 million pages to catch up on, but I have time since I can't go anywhere all weekend because my parents are going away....well, I'm off to find my last post and read everything since that!!

Welcome back TalkisCheap! We have missed you terribly. Congratulations on the fine Championship meet. Again, welcome back. I really have missed you!!

Welcome back to iluvtink, too. Whatcha been doin? Running Mom's taxi service?

I'm outta here.

Have a great day!

Okay, finished reading ... I am exhausted from trying to remember what to say to who so if I miss saying something I should have, chalk it up to Oldtimer's Disease! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_1_102.gif' alt='Knitting' border=0></a>

Here goes...

Yep, DHB, mommy-taxi mixed in with a little Disney Specialisting. Hey, I got my College of Disney Knowledge graduation box ... I know own "Mortarboard" Mouse Ears! They are so cute!

Welcome to the Island princesstommi! You picked a pretty color. If anyone mentions me and a bra in the same sentence, ignore them please! :p

hyzdufan - welcome back from Heaven... more pix, more pix... my excitement is building for our trip and I may be over the edge by July 29!

TalkisCheap - Welcome back to you, too. Hey, if you're gonna be un-computered for that long again, try the library... just a little log-on to the TAGLIARCHY to let us know that you're okay. We tend to be a worrying bunch when someone goes AWOL for long.

billysotherdad - I am so impressed that you got $$ from those rich folks. I'd have been too scared to smile at them, I suspect. Many years ago, Barbara Mandrell came to my office for a meeting, and I was supposed to take notes. She came in, tossed her mink coat on the floor in a corner and proceeded to help me serve lunch. I don't think I said anything, unless it was "thanks." duh.

Bichon Barb - Kelley is headed to Lake Saranac for Young Life Camp late tomorrow night. I know you're not in close proximity, but she's in your state, so I'm trusting you to keep an eye <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/556.gif' alt='Telescope' border=0></a> on her for me! She hasn't been to camp since 2nd grade, and Katie is <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10_1_20.gif' alt='Wakka-wakka' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_108.gif' alt='Too Happy' border=0></a> about being an only child next week.

PD to RRBB and whoever has PMS, and to all of the corresponding men/SO/whatever that have to deal with these undertheweather chicks.

Thanks for breakfast too, and Danauk <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/13/13_1_204.gif' alt='Congratulations On Your New Job' border=0></a>.

be back in a bit..

Oops... last but certainly not least ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YESTERDAY, disneyluvers!

billysotherdad I'm so impressed by your newfound talents! Seeing Jude Law in person....man, a dream come true. You said he was shorter in person, but is he just as handsome????

iluvtink Keep you clothes on, girlfriend! ;)

TalkisCheap So glad you're back and congrats on a great meet!

s&ksmom I'm just like you when it comes to celebrities.....I saw Kevin Costner in Lake Tahoe when he was filming "The Bodyguard". I'd thought up something really good to say to him(can't remember what it was now) but the minute he smiled at me, I blushed, completely melted and forgot what I had planned to say, looking like a complete dufus. I'd seen him before while he was making Durham Bull here in NC. We were both driving and stopped at a stoplight. I looked over and said "Are you Kevin Costner?" He said "Yes" and just smiled. I smiled back and the light turned green and we both drove away....darn green light! :p

BOOGER! Why I never! Hahahaha. All that gushing about me just made me smile. :-)
