Have any of you eaten at Rose & Crown? I think we may go there. I love me some Fish & chips.

Just catching up on posts... We ate at Rose & Crown for dinner 5 years ago and loved it. Both DH and his brother are descended from fine English gentry (?) and so of course, we had to go there. I loved their Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding. The CM's there were, of course, from England, and they were just great. Toward the end of the evening when all of his other tables had left, our waiter sat with us and talked, and then several more joined us. We closed the place down. Jolly good fun!

I like it too and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed being there last week....but NOT when I hear it played over and over and over and over in my head.

.......thanks again, RICK, now we know where the devil dog got his start.......womb of satan's sister, I think not! :p

So are you saying the kadaten is Bill's birthmother?

But the throat and mouth sores can last up to 10 days and she is on day 3.

VERY HUGE buckets of PD for sweet baby Ella and for the rest of you, too. Will she eat ice cream? When Katie had it, I let her eat whatever she would, just to get some calories in.

kadaten - I vote dance first for Abbie. We just went to a recital dress rehearsal and those 3/4 year olds are the cutest things in the whole wide world! Age 5 or 6 is not too late to start soccer... but you don't want to miss this age for dance, IMHO. I am kicking myself that I didn't start the girls that young because by the time they were 5 or 6, they didn't want to try it. :(

s&ksmom - fingers crossed for you, and also for Susiewhoshouldleavehiswonderfulavataralonewhowasthatpersonbytheway???

Cheeringmom - so glad it's not the ticker. Somehow gastric sounds more fixable. :)

But then again, I wouldn't know a grit from an ocra from greens and beans. And I've never had mint julep either. Maybe I'm not so blessed. ;)

Grits are gross, greens are grosser and okra is a weed. You haven't missed much. Beans are okay, and
mint julep... is to for!

BTW - you didn't get nearly enough comments on your former jobs, Ms. BAD. You had me guffawing while I was sipping water and my computer got a bath!

CHEERINGMOM, I hope you don't mind, but I told RICK about our little foot friend from a couple of weeks ago. :p I thought it might make him feel better to know that he's not the only one who gets strange PM's. ;)

BAD BOY! VERY bad boy!

kadaten  Don't listen to that evil Slasher Movie King......all the compliments have gone to his head and he's on quite a roll......purely evil, I tell you, evil! Joe needs to give him a great big spanking when he gets home.....no, he'd probably enjoy that......hide the remote control instead, that'll fix him for the night! :teeth:

Ok, so Jordan's away at camp and I've returned my cute nephew to his mom so now I'm all alone in my own house for the whole night! Just me and the great Cadbury dog!

Ho-hum.......What to do? What to do? :confused3

Hi all, Sorry no color at work....

llebreknit, PD to ella... I hope it gets better soon...

Rick...We went to the tiki room with Huggabaloo...

Oh, and all of you with strange PMs, please send a PM to Dan Murphy about the wierdos; he is compiling a list. You can also report them to the mods...

Beast, happy bday, and to "Borrow" the image, right click on it and save it to disk...NO PMs needed...

Having a better day than yesterday; but one of the young girls in my office admitted to my boss that she was having troubles making a baby, and he didn't realize how insensative he was... "You don't have any problems, etc..." the sad part is he didn't even realize why she left crying. I called her about a half hour later and gave her some PD. One of the worst things you can say to someone who is having trouble having a baby is to ask when are you gonna get started. It hurts, because it makes you feel inferior, broken, and...well it just hurts. A lot of people say it because they think it is the right thing to say, but when you are having a problem it hurts (think about it)

Also, at Ohana's they brought me some wings from next door (made without Cilantro) and warned me about one of the sauces.

I can see why so many people like staying at the WL, the bus stop is close, the rooms (DVC) are done in dark woods, and there are lots of nice walking trails. I think the pools could be better, but that is what water parks are for...

:bounce:

This is sheer blasphemy! You poor girl, looks like you need to join Bichon Barb at my table, young lady. I hate to brag but I do make great "Shrimp and Grits" and have access to a recipe of an okra and beef dish that is to die for! I'll make the main courses, Bichon Barb has already agreed to bring the Chianti so I'm leaving the dessert up to you ::yes::.....and I don't like greens either, but true Southern belles aren't supposed to admit such things  :teeth:
