Hey everyone! All this feet talk has got me thinkin'. How about we do a foot photo contest after the Baby contest is over.

I have what DH calls "Finger toes". Quite attractive....not! However, they are quite useful as I can pick things up with them.....ew...have I grossed you guys out yet??

Good afternoon all, School today was OK. However after yesterday and my talk on manners I had to do a lesson on what manners are and how to have good manners. These kids really didn't know it is rude to talk over people or stand in front of someone when they are talking to others!! It was amazing! I can't believe I am having to actually teach things that were taught to me by my parents at home! Oh well. I guess it is not the kids faults as they only copy what their parents demonstrate to them . Then our meeting after school was OK. People kept their mouths closed but I just hope people don't go moaning about things behind other peoples backs now as they had their chance to speak their mind. Don't you just love work politics!!
Oh well 2 more days then a week off!! (then 7 weeks of school and 5 1/2 weeks off ) So does anyone have any good plans for this evening? Hopefully Pete will be able to put the rest of the foundations in for the wall we are building for the waterfall. The trouble is now the waterfall has been removed whilst it is being re built the filter is not running in the pond and the water is starting to look a little green
I guess I better go and find some dinner.

Bichon Barb I know a lot of European men wear socks with sandals but my DH does not. He wouldn't dream of doing that and he isn't that fussed about fashion! But I consider us English and not European any way

Who is Jake Gyllenhaal? I have had shown you all NC Beast's pictures around Easter....I have to download it to a different source since DIS Community photo is down. You haven't seen me yet---I have to get photographed more---I have a lot of NC Beast and Jessie.

Jake Gyllenhaal is a cutie!! He was in "October Sky" & "Donnie Darko" (both excellent movies BTW). He is in "The Day After Tomorrow" which comes out Friday.

Now that's it's warm enough I go barefooted alot. Outside. At the ballfield, the carwash the other night, where ever. I take off my shoes every chance I get.

And who besides me is utterly SHOCKED that our pampered princess [COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR] has never had a pedicure. You could've knocked me over with a feather

when I read that one.

And as far as the Vera Bradley bag, they are machine washable and mine have taken quite a few spins in the gentle cycle.

1. Black jeans are ok for everyone, even straight people! And during anytime of year. As for cut, regardless of the color of the jean, you never peg them anymore, they shouldn't be those tight in the ankle things.... yeesh!

Woo Hoo! I couldn't watch the game since I only get to see the Red Sox when they are on ESPN or on one of the major networks. No NESN here in Kentucky. My dad has the baseball package on his Satellite, so he called me to tell me how great the game was going.

Speaking of knock off bags, I have something that amuses me. My mom is the purse queen. Whenever she's in town visiting, she forces Joe and I into going bag shopping up and down 5th Avenue. We HATE it but it's only once or twice a year so what the heck.

Anyway, she used to blow $800, $1000, even $1,500 or more on one stinkin' bag. I'd always comment on the price and she'd tell me to shut it.

Then on one trip, I took her to Chinatown and introduced her to the land of knock offs. I thought she'd hate it but she LOVED it. Now she spends two or three or four hundred bucks on a knock off Gucci or Chanel or somesuch. Think she'd just buy the one and pocket the difference?

Heck no! Now she buys two - four bags at a pop! And it takes even longer than it did before!

AAAAAaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!

1. I disagree. I whole-heartedly disagree. We are at an impASSe my dear. I looked up impasse because I wasn't sure of the spelling -a predicament affording no obvious escape. Yup that's you and me.
