If you and hubby do take a quick "breather" down there, remember, Jordan and I are staying at CSR May 29-Jun 4 and we'd love to meet for dinner......we could even have a chocolate "dessertathon" and go restaurant hopping and try all the chocolate desserts all over the "world", I'm feeling gitty just thinking about it....
I normally get "dessert guilt" if I order in front of friends, but NEVER in front of my favorite chocoholic sister, we'd have a blast!
WOOHOO!!!

WHAAAAAAATTTT????? How could you not just love Tonga Toast? I'd have to say that's sacrelig!Originally posted by depplyinluv
although i wasn't too crazy about the tonga toast...
I wonder though, does it scare the bunnies when Cheeky or Figaro are on top of their little house like that? I had a cat once who brought home a baby bunny, and to my horror, brought it in the house and started batting it around.....I screamed and saved the little bunny and took it to an animal rescue center. The vet there said the little bunny was unhurt but very shaken up as you can imagine
I ending giving the rescue center a small contribution and they kept the little bunny for a while and then set it free.....I just wonder how many other little bunnies weren't that lucky

Oh, here is a recipe for Tonga Toast...
http://allearsnet.com/din/rec_tt.htm
Ingredients:
2 or 4 slices sourdough bread, cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
1 banana
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
oil or shortening for frying
whipped butter and/or syrup
Method:
Cut a 1-inch pocket in one side of each bread slice. Cut banana in half crosswise, then split each piece lengthwise. Remove peel and stuff two pieces of fruit in each pocket of bread; set aside. Mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Mix together well the egg, milk and vanilla.
Heat about 4 inches of oil in a pan to 350º F. Dip stuffed bread into egg/milk mixture and let it soak a few seconds to let penetrate bread. Fry bread on both sides in hot oil until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels or wire rack. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve.
Yep, it's basically really yummy French Toast with banana inside. And I've had the Konk Kooler on Castaway Cay during our Disney Cruise and it was a yummy fruity alcoholic drinkOriginally posted by TalkisCheap
is it like....french toast? it kind sounds like it but with bananas...i'm not too crazy about bananas
so that leaves only one question, what is a konk kooler? I once asked someone and they never replied...wah
maybe you could get it without alcohol....it was really tasty and came in a konk shaped cup.
