cadburysmom--that's when we're leaving for orlando too!!!!

gotta run for a second--i'm in dire need of some soda. i'm going to fall asleep on the keyboard and be typing things that make even less sense than what i already say! i spent too much time graduation partying last night!

Just finished watching Miracle, it was a GREAT movie! The guys were cute, too! My favorite was Jack...he was wicked cute! I cried...yep, I cry during a lot of movies...(especially Tombstone!)

Morning all (well it's nearly lunch time, I allowed myself to sleep in !!)

geffric I am so sorry Prayers for you and your family are on their way.

ohanafamily and RRBB have a great trip. I am so envious, I don't know when we will next be at WDW!!
By the way, the kids didn't hurt the cat. They saw in by the brook at the front of our school and they thought it didn't look well. When they went over to it and picked it up they thought it was ill so brought it up to school. Quite amazing as these kids can be really naughty (on Thursday the pair of them ran out if school as they were fighting with oneanother).

Well I decided to save the hairdressers trip until next week. Today I plan to put the bunnies into their new bunny palace (this thing has to be the best bunny run I have ever seen, they will love it.) Then Pete is going to build a wall on the foundation he built last week so we can build the new waterfall into the pond.

Today I have to tidy my study (it doubles as a spare room when we have visitors) as my parents are coming to stay next Friday. Then we have to be at the theatre at 7pm again for the last performance.

I guess I better be getting on with things then,

Oh, here is a recipe for Tonga Toast...

Ingredients:

2 or 4 slices sourdough bread, cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
1 banana
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
oil or shortening for frying
whipped butter and/or syrup



Method:

Cut a 1-inch pocket in one side of each bread slice. Cut banana in half crosswise, then split each piece lengthwise. Remove peel and stuff two pieces of fruit in each pocket of bread; set aside. Mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Mix together well the egg, milk and vanilla.

Heat about 4 inches of oil in a pan to 350º F. Dip stuffed bread into egg/milk mixture and let it soak a few seconds to let penetrate bread. Fry bread on both sides in hot oil until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels or wire rack. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve.

So who is up this morning? I'm still miserable. Still have the sore throat. The hot water heater pilot went out last night. DH couldn't get it lit. Oh well, guess I just have to DIS in my PJ's all day. No dishes, no laundry, no doggy baths, no me baths. To top it all off, it's supposed to rain all weekend.

Maybe I'll take the kids to see Shrek 2 later. Nothing makes me feel better that some good flatulence jokes.

Well it is a lovely day again here in England. I have cleaned the spare room ready for my parents visit, I just have to clean the rest of the house now!!

The bunnies are in their new run and have already started to burrow!! They seem to love it. I took some pictures which I will post later. Cheeky seems to think the top of the hutch is a new cat sunbathing place too!!

I've been looking through some photos to post to share. Plus I have been doing some more work in the TAGLIARCHY garden. The builders are just putting some finishing touches on a guest house I had built for us in the butterfly garden. I'll let you see as soon as it is finished.

Oh well, back to cleaning.

I am waiting until 8 am to call my sister so we can divie up the list of who calls who.. already called Geoff at the Boy Scout campout.. Scott was going to drive 3 hours and pick him up but he has decided to stay at the campout and come home tomorrow..

When Scott's Mom died , after the funeral, he and I decided to go to WDW for a few days , so the thought crossed my mind this am.. (couldn't sleep..so i have been up baking, laundrying and thinking of things i need to do..) but the kids have too many tests this week to pull them out of school...however, we decided that we will take my Dad with us when we go in July.. need to call DVC and get a 2 bedroom, but first i have to ask my Dad and i'll wait a week before I do that..
