If Joe goes as Ursula I will NOT go as Ariel. Although how's this for sweet? Joe think I look like Prince Adam!

I only meant that I would wear an Ursula sweatshirt, for Pete's Sake.

we could go as Flotsam and Jetsom, though, too, though before they were turned to withering nothing by Evil Ursula. They kinda looked like poo after. :)

If it was Ursulla the sea witch, we might have a short conversation on the subject, however. Hahaha.
How about an URSULA costume? I have one that I made several years ago for halloween. My sister dressed my niece as Ariel and I was the sea witch. (I also wore it to work that year - we had costume contests.) Anyway billysotherdad, you're more than welcome to borrow it for MNSSHP!!!

Hi Rick, it's me! If you could do Prince Charming, you could certainly do Prince Eric.

Prince Adam, btw, is He-Man, Master of the Universe!! LOL.

I love doing cyber lunches. I can keep my girlish figure that way!! heheheh

Good evening all,
Just dropping in quickly as I have to leave for the theatre again in half an hour. I feel really out of the loop at the moment as I only have time to pop in, skim posts and post a quick reply.
I love all the pictures though. I wish I had time to find some to share, maybe I'll have some time over the weekend.
I'll be back later after the show.

Kim Possible

Surely you have a picture of one of these you can post! I think you are the only long-standing member here who we don't have a face to put with a name!

I missed out on all the fun today! Are you still taking suggestions? I think you guys are dead ringers for Sulley and Mike! Don't know why that pops in my head exactly....

Can someone tell me what to do about a baby that wants to check everybody she sees for a belly button? It's getting a little embarrassing. And she has no problem with jerking my shirt up to reveal mine either.

Anybody wanna come over and say how-do-you-do? to my little Ella?:teeth:

Given the current flow of conversation - I have a QOTD.

What was your favorite and/or least favorite Hallowe'en costume as a kid and/or adult?

Maybe this will help ol' Joe either to find some ideas or identify what issue from his past he needs to face in order to feel like costuming himself once again!

QOTD: I loved being a pirate as a kid. Not a girl priate either!! My favorite ride at DL was of course POTC. Gotta say "Yo Ho ho ho a pirates life for me!!"

Anyone got any good ideas on running a campaign? Sam is running for office at Girls state. Nothing can be prepared by computer. It all has to be made that week-poster boards etc. But any ideas that can make her stand out? I thought of buttons but can't find a cheap button maker. Help! Or a good campaign slogan?

She was pretty, right? I HAVE seen It's a Wonderful Life....I think we have it on tape, in fact...DH's favorite Christmas movie :)

Ya know, I'm just not very good at the name/faces game anyway. Can rarely tell you who sings a favorite song or who acted in what movie....I'm even worse with old ones. :guilty:

Oops...forgot to say Good Afternoon, everyone!!

In-laws are here :) and we pick up DH at 4pm :) so all's well. Abbie got to have her Poppy take her to school and pick her up so that was pretty special in her book ::yes:: Walt had his Babe all to himself this morning :) and I got to go to yoga :) A good morning for all ::yes::

kadaten Love all your pics....your children are adorable.....love the pic of smiling Abby with DH but my favorite might be the pic with Peter Pan and the way she has her little hand on his leg...you know they were both just loving it!:teeth:
Thanks! She was loving it!! In December when she met him she was completely speechless and slack-jawed.....but this time she handled his "stardom" well and just chatted and chatted....asked about Tink, showed off her Mickey dress and necklace...etc....Peter just kept on chatting (I think the dad behind us was tired of waiting....but his kid would get special time, too, so he should be happy to wait for that kind of interaction....)

kadaten I want to see ALL of your WDW pictures. I need the daily fix. I think I'll dig into the vault and post one (or two or three) from one of our earlier trips. Must try to not post too many pictures, must try, must try, must TRY!

Oh, also kadaten, whenever I see really cute kid pictures from someone like you I just can't help thinking "they need to have more cute little kids, they are good at making cute little humans." You see there are so many big, ugly, scarey humans that the world just needs more and more cute little humans to balance it out. What do you think?
Um....I think you must be crazy!! At least right now I do ::yes:: Walt is all I can handle most days, but I have a DH and DD to handle, too, so I'm stretched PRETTY thin....maybe in a few years we'll give it another shot. If my DH heard me talking like you he might start sleeping in the guest room....We just *think* about trying and BOOM....no more practice swings for him! (See...I get *VERY* ill during pregnancy...vomit 7.5-8.5 months of it.....DH rarely gets near me for fear of making it worse....maybe that's why my kids are so cute....to keep me from killing them after all the yuck they put me through while I was pregnant with them.....hmmm....good theory, anyway ::yes:: )

But thanks for all the compliments ::yes:: Cute 1 and Cute 2 are napping right now so we can go get DH at 4....I'm currently not showering like I'm supposed to be.....but may not be able to DIS tonight....so thought I'd read what I can now...

I've gotta tell ya'll about a little Disney magic that happened to me last night. ;).......

I love looking at all the wonderful pics of your adorable children and their excited little faces at seeing the characters........ but it also makes me kinda sad that Jordan has outgrown that and now knows Mickey Mouse is just some guy (or girl) dressed in a big mouse costume :(

We were discussing our upcoming trip and PS's last night. When Jordan was not interested in any character meals, including those wonderful breakfasts, I was a little downhearted, afraid the "magic" wouldn't be there for him on this trip. So we're going down the list of PS restaurants and I said the dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table looked kinda expensive and besides, sounds kinda 'girlie' cause that's where all the princesses hang out. So wouldn't he rather do Crystal Palace instead? WELL......let me tell you......the reaction from Jordan was one of shocked incredulity:eek:.......he said "But Mom, not eat at Cinderella's Royal Table? Are you kidding me? We've just got to eat in the castle, there's NOTHING cooler than that!" It was my turn to be shocked and soooo happy and relieved to know the "magic" IS still there and probably will always be....I guess it just changes form as we get older ::yes:::teeth:
cadburysmom Warning! Just want to make sure you know the dinner at the castle isn't a character dinner....there is a Cinderella character dinner but it's at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. BTW, it's FABULOUS!!! Will post some pics later...
