Thanks! The dress was way more sophisticated than me or my wedding. Our wedding was a lot of fun, very laid back. I have some group photos that I think llebrekniT told me I could post. I'm just not supposed to post any close-ups of her without permission.

Okay, here's my bridesmaids dress. I liked it so much I almost ordered one for myself. No big fru-fru bow but it does have a little something on the back.

And here's the front - me and my bridesmaids.

My matron of honor (the one with the short curly hair) was about 6 months pregnant at the time and the dress still looked good on her. (If I had it to do over again I would have only had the two standing next to me and my junior bridesmaid. The other one was such a pain to even ask to be in the wedding. And then I felt like I was fighting just to get her involvement. Such a pain.)

2nd from the right.
She's ohanafamily's niece. It took me months to actually get to talk to her and ask her myself if she'd be a bridesmaid. Apparently her parents asked her if she wanted me to ask her or something. I was trying so hard to fit into the family. I shouldn't have bothered. And on the day of my wedding she refused to get any makeup - which was my treat to all my bridesmaids and flower girls. Oh, and she showed up later for hair so I had one of the other girls sit down. When they - her and her mother - walked in her mother said in a really snotty tone, "R was supposed to be next." and made my friend get up and wait. I could go on, but I'll stop there.

Aren't extended family interesting at weddings? My SIL brought a sewing project (that she was getting paid for) to our wedding reception and had everyone helping her. The photographer was waiting.....on the clock...and we couldn't find everyone for the pics 'cause they were helping her.

No need to apologize. That's what I thought too. Her hair actually goes down to her knees, or at least well below her butt. She could have had something really fantastic done but NOOOOO. It's just pulled back into a ponytail with a few curls or something. (Thankfully I didn't waste my money on her. MIL paid for all our hair to be done.)

I'm back from the zoo!

It was really fun, and hot and sunny. No rain until we were driving home. Good trip!

And I just have to say that Barb your friends/relatives have the worst bridesmaids dresses ever! Don't they have stylist in NY?

I think I like RRBB's bridesmaid dresses the best!
