What I do not like in Estate jewelry is that you don't know how many times it has been fixed, and the materials used. It is possible that the moment you heat it to retip a prong, the entire ring can melt into a ball. There are plenty of nice new rings with a filigree on them that I would have pointed you to wards, you will continue to loose the Sapphires out of the ring. it happens, rings wear out. (This is all speculation without examining the ring I have to go on what you have told me about it. The Sapphires are fairly resilient stones, and take a lot of aggressive wear, but they can be hurt. I prefer an engraved ring like I gave to Robin.....

Not much has been going on around here, except for pages and pages of blabbering chatter, lots of pictures (many added to the color wheel photo albums), oh and a funny (at least I think so) little joke in the color wheel yesterday. It's been fixed now though, so I hope everyone can just laugh it off. (Someone posted a link yesterday to where you can figure out your "Real Name". Apparently, some of us don't have a good sense of humor because I started getting dirty looks and all. It's all is back to normal now though...)

Someone, I can't remember who, asked for a recap to the TAGLIARCHY photo albums rules. After some additional consideration today, and discussing it with Nephosaurus, Nieceosaurus and ohanafamily, we decided to revamp the rules a bit. So here are the newly revised (and simpler) rules:

2) Each [color=0066FF]T[/color][color=CC0066]A[/color][color=00CC66]G[/color][color=00BFFF]L[/color][color=FF1493]I[/color][color=FF6600]K[/color][color=FFCC00]I[/color][color=9900FF]N[/color]/Household of [color=0066FF]T[/color][color=CC0066]A[/color][color=00CC66]G[/color][color=00BFFF]L[/color][color=FF1493]I[/color][color=FF6600]K[/color][color=FFCC00]I[/color][color=9900FF]N[/color][color=00FF00]S[/color] may have up to four (4) photos in the [color=0066FF]T[/color][color=CC0066]A[/color][color=00CC66]G[/color][color=00BFFF]L[/color][color=FF1493]I[/color][color=FF6600]K[/color][color=FFCC00]I[/color][color=9900FF]N[/color][color=00FF00]S[/color]' Families Photo Album. You may have more than one pet per photo but each pet cannot appear more than once in the Pets Photo Album.

Some of you may currently have more than the maximum number of photos in the Families Photo Album at the moment - because up to now I tried to copy photos in whenever you posted them here in the TAGLIARCHY. It would help considerably if you would go take a look and let me know if you wish to keep any of these photos/switch them out/remove them. And in the future just let me know if there are any new photos you want added or removed.

I hope this is clear and everyone thinks it's fair.

ohanafamily Well, now you tell me! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, though....I'm pretty rough on jewels....I don't ever take them off, so they get banged around alot. Kids' bathtime, washing the car, taking out the trash, schlepping all the stuff that goes with 2 little kids everywhere every day, groceries, playing outside, gardening, etc.... Hopefully the local place can work some magic and make those suckers stay in a little better.... 'cause I really LOVE that ring Didn't even seem too pricey to repair it...$33 for the replacement stone (it's teeny but decent enought quality-wise she said and $10 to set it...but I'd still rather not have to do that once or twice a year It probably doesn't help that the bottom is all open, too....under the stones, I mean....if you look up under it you can see the complete bottom of the stones....with the naked eye it looks like they're just being held there by good thoughts but I'm sure they're "secured" somehow...but just by the itty bitty teeny weeny sides....

It's white gold...does that make it any more likely to break than if it had been platinum (not that I had a choice....but for future reference...)

Well, yet another evening DIS-ed away. Should have been cleaning house and making up the guest suite for the in-laws' visit....but I DIS-ed instead, although I did balance the checkbook and pay the bills at the same time. Oh well...tomorrow will be a yucky day. Probably won't be around much, unless anyone is volunteering to come help clean MIL, sweetie that she is (really!) says it doesn't bother her, but 1--I'm NOT a neat freak (pack rat, piler, keeper of papers) and 2--she's practically OCD with cleanliness when it comes to a house and 3--I have 2 kids under the age of 4 and a shedding cat (read "constant mess-makers"). Guess I'll just get the turrett (our 3rd floor guest suite) **** and span so she can retreat up there if the house starts closing in on her! Remember, gotta be nice to her since she's keeping the kids so I can go in October!!!!
