I'll answer, I'll answer!

I wear a traditional silver claddagh ring that Joe gave me.

I gave Joe a gold stylized claddagh ring that I had shipped from Ireland. it's gold, with three claddagh designs embedded around it with tiny emeralds on each heart. In beween each heart is a gaelic word which forms the sentence Mo Anam Cara which means My Sould Mate. It sounds flashy but it's really not. Very manly man.
Show a picture of it---I fell in love with a lot of jewerly over there.

Tag Fairy Request From Iraq
OMG, that's great. I sure hope the TAG FAIRY takes notice of this one. ::yes:: Question is, who is this?

Sorry DHB, I forgot.

Well, I HAD a 3/4 carat diamond solitaire engagement ring, but I lost it a few years ago. (Do NOT want to discuss. It still upsets me. ) I have two wedding bands. The original is a gold band with the tiny beads around the top and bottom. Nothing fancy. A while back, that was MIA ( ) so I went and bought myself a new band with some little diamond chips around the top. It looked pretty in the case, but I got it home and wasn't crazy about it (you get what you pay for). It wasn't long after that that I found ring #1. Anyway, I wear a sapphire and diamond ring with my wedding band or my emerald and diamond ring with it.

My problem is that I'm not big on jewelry. I get home from work, and I have to take all my rings and necklaces off. They make me feel clausterphobic.

Rob rarely wears his wedding band. It's too big since he lost 30 lbs. Also, it's oval because of an intrusive physical exam incident. :teeth:

See you all later! I have no gone shopping smilie for this space so:

That's a nice ring RickinNYC. I really am getting off-line this time.;)

What a special post to do my 1500th:Pinkbounc . I think I celebrate with lunch and shopping.:teeth:

Another QOTD: Is your ring engraved?
This is very similar to my engagement ring though not exactly like it. It looks antique with small gold heart below the diamond. The diamond is oval. My wedding band is thin and plain (no stones) and has the same antique look to it.

Neither ring has anything engraved in it. Doesn't need it either - I know who I married and when! :teeth:

ohanafamily's ring is a puzzle ring. That's what he wanted, that's what he got.

Hi Rikku and DisneyDmbNut. So nice to see y'all here again. We really have missed y'all. (To mask our sadness of your absence we've kept ourselves busy chatting. )

Have fun at the mall NC Belle. I really need to get myself over to one this week - need some new shorts and swimsuit before our trip. Maybe I should have the "master of shopping" join me. Wanna llebrekniT?

Anyone hear from disneyluvers? She hasn't picked up my pm mailed out ages ago.

Come on folks, get your baby pics in. We only have 9 right now - and I know more of you want to participate!!! Now's your chance to participate in some simple fun. And just think, a really cool prize if you win!

Thanks NCBEAST for the info to find all of my posts. I first posted about the tag fairy July 30, 2003. I need a life!! hehehehhe

Wow! What a beautiful ring. What is a puzzle ring?

DH loves that our wedding date is engraved in the ring. He says he checks it all the time. He is such a dork.

RickinNYC - Hi! Flunky Wafflechunks here. I am among the throngs who were thinking about you and billysotherdad. I knew you wanted to plan for a possible wedding next year because of all of your "stuff" this year you have to pay for, but I was hoping we'd hear that you went on over to Mass. to officially tie the knot before some pimple-headed pea-brain conservative stupidhead lawmaker decides to try to repeal it!! I'm ready to do a cyber-shower NOW!!!

Buttercup Pizzatushie - my engagement ring is a plain raised 3/4 carat solitaire set in yellow gold... it won't come off because the rest of my finger is much more fat-sucking friendly than it was when I got engaged. I have two wedding bands also, the first, along with my engagement ring, almost had to be cut off my finger when I was pregnant with Kelley. It's a very thin yellow gold to match the thinness of my engagement ring. That Christmas, when I was wallowing around the Christmas tree and worrying that I looked like an unwed mother, Santa gave me a wider, larger gold band that I've worn ever since.

ObscureDullSpring - Hi! Don't know ya, but happy to meet ya! I'm one of the newer TAGLIKINS in the bunch ... I joined the group toward the end of the Mansion days. I love that Tag Fairy picture. I'd like to send a care package to the soldier... who is he???

Greasy Hamsterfanny, congrats on the 1500 posts... I looked today and I'm over 900... amazing how fast the messages pile up if you are in the TAGLIARCHY, huh?

Doofus Gizzardhiney - glad the little Gizzardhiney is able to get some sleep. How about you? Will we find you napping at the pool in a few minutes?

ohanafamily - I got my IE back!!! I tried everything that you, McAfee, and e-machines suggested but was too addlepated to follow directions, I guess. But I figured out how to do a System Restore!! Aren't you proud of me??

RRBB, I can't get my mom to remember to mail me a baby picture, so I'll have to find one when I go home to Nashville on June 22. Maybe you can post mine later, just so I can be in the album??? In the meantime, I looked like this: <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_5_2v.gif' alt='Baby Girl' border=0></a>

Also, not many males can fit into Mickey's outfit, if you wanted to wear his clothes you would have to be around 5' tall. just an FYI...
::yes:: Had a CM on our Keys to the Kingdom tour taking it with a dear friend of hers....she sheepishly admitted to being a.k.a Mickey and/or Minnie on her work days....but only after the CM leading our tour "outed" her :) She was TINY!! Only about 5 feet tall and would blow away in a stiff wind....

Flunky Chucklesniffer, Ah-oh, looks like RRBB pulled a fast one! Anyway, since it is through the public schools, you won't be out any money and that's great. My doctor told me not to worry so much about words, just that they are making the sounds. Every now and again she will say "mama" but she goes "moooo" all day long, so that means she can do the "m" and she's just too darned busy right now to care about talking very much. Our chatty time is right before bed when I sit and rock with her for a little bit. She will "talk" my ear off then because she is finally sitting down! Still, she doesn't say many words either. I'm sure he's fine and you will regret teaching him to talk soon enough. Sure wish the 12 year old didn't know how.

llebreknit, I have caught up on back pages, were you concerned about DD's speech? Honey could we talk?;)
That was me!

Took Walt in this morning for his screening. Now I will say in the last 2 weeks he's really started babblying more (maybe we can find a way to have our insurance cover our Disney trips because that sure is when he started talking more ::yes:: ) But anyway, he still says fewer words than you'd expect at this age, most of them are indecipherable unless he's pointing at what he's saying, and he doesn't really put many words together in combination (2 word phrases....really only says "Ididit" which he thinks is one word, and "Bye-bye, Mama" (every female is a "mama" to him :) ). OBTW, he'll be 2 at the end of July and they said at 24 months he should be saying about 100 words....I'm not sure we're even halfway there....So, she said he's borderline and it could go either way....refer for full testing or just wait and see, my choice....but it takes about 3 months to get in for testing, so if I'm inclined at all to get it done, go ahead and schedule it...I can always cancel. SO, we'll have full testing done the first week of August and if he needs services, he can get in pretty quickly since school doesn't start until September here in the Commonwealth! If he keeps coming up with new words, I can always cancel...

The way he's been going on the last 2 weeks or so, I may be worrying for nothing, but it's not getting much clearer, so I'd like to see what the Speech people say.... Also, DH and his DF both have stutters, and that may be worrying me....that a stutter is what's keeping him from trying to speak as much...

As for regretting that he learned so early....well, we're that way with Abbie ::yes:: I can already see her report cards --"Abbie has a hard time keeping quiet in class" But that's alright.... Walt, however, screams instead. I'd much rather hear him ramble on than scream so much (unfortunately, his scream is like nails on a chalkboard to me.... )
