HI there...We're on my brand new laptop! YEA! and Rick is beside me eating thin mint girl scout cookies and Billy is at our feet. I'm writing to say THANK YOU to all those that put fun, neat things in that box. I've been meaning to get on and say thanks. I think all the postcards are really neat. I love stuff like that. And I'm going to use the seeds and plant them, and even bake some stuff. Bangers and Mash anyone! Really, I think this box idea is so cool. What a nice way to say hi off-line, and get to know one another and see the country (world, even!).

And, as for the current thread...I had Vans! My friend Nick and I went to Paramus Park in NJ when we were seniors in High School (special trip, mind you) just to get them. I wore them until they were ruined during a fraternity function (no need for details, right?). And as for the dressing, well, I've never really been the best at it, as I'm sure RICK HAS MADE SURE ALL OF YOU KNOW!

Freshman year in high school (1980, and it hadn't yet reached my friend and I that disco was dead) we got all dressed up for our first high school dance in our most fun and glorious disco clothes and walked to the school together thinking were the coolest guys in the ENTIRE WORLD. We stood in the parking lot and watched the other guys walk in wearing football jerseys and jeans. Needless to say, we went home and changed. Hahahah. Just thought I'd add that.

Rick's gone into the living room to watch the extras on REDNECK ZOMBIES dvd.

OK, Coockoo. Coockoo... I am a Blooming Coockoo clock... RRBB is waiting to sign up for her CKU Masters courses, and she had to run... Uh an errand, and I am stuck watching the clock so I can call her in time...

Oh, She's Back... I am really going in to lie down now....

Good Night All...

Oh, Joe, I'm a Belt and Braces sort of guy lately.....

OK, I had a great buy the other day. I went to the Office Depot (the one where they all know me and say Hi as I pass on my way to lunch... 14 Gallon Rubbermaid "Tubs" were on sale for $2.45 each... I had them get me in 21 of them. RRBB didn't even get too terribly upset, they are great for organizing, and she has already used 3 of them.....

Nighty Night All...

Where Is Jennifer? RRBB will be getting classes for at least a half hour...

:bounce:

Hi Ohana Family,
Just so you know, the pink pig has become Billy's new favorite toy. He's chewing on it now as a type. I think it has replaced his time-honored (and forever favorite) hedgehog! He carries it around in his mouth all day. He says THANKS!

Belt and Braces! Oh.....

Just saying...Signing off...Time to go to bed. Have to go get a physical tomorrow morning...that yearly thing....ugh. Goodnight all! And thanks for the all the things in the box once again!

GOOD NIGHT ALL

I did the pesant mini dress first day of 9th grade but went to jeans then on out.

do furkids count?

Morning all,
I have put bagles and soft cheese in the kitchen next the toaster if anyone wants some along with some juice and fresh coffee.

So you were talking about 80's things then last night! Mullets are comng back in here too!! When I was at the theatre on Sunday I noticed that some of the girls were wearing leg warmers with their dance shoes (we have to wear shoes with heels on for dancing!) Does this mean I have to get some as we start rehearsing for The sound of Music in a few weeks!!! I refuse to wear the whole leotard, leg warmers and high heels combo though as I would look like an extra out of Fame gone wrong!!

Oh well the weather here is OK (in that it isn't raining) so I hope it holds off for the afternoon so we can go on our walk. Otherwise I will have to think of something else to do for 2 hours this afternoon.

I guess I should finish getting ready and go to work.

Catch you all later. Have a good day.

Morning all. Thanks for the food Danauk Have fun on your walk.

Hi Billysothersdad. I'm also a big hedgehog fan. One day I want to open a B&B and call it the Hedgehog Inn. We lived in Europe for 5 yrs and I fell in love instantly!

Thanks for the oatmeal. Glad your ds's concert went well. What instrument does he play?

We are moving into the house across the street. We just have a ton of stuff. I think the acrross the street move will be our hardest yet. Normally the AirForce pays to move us. Not this time since we are not moving out of state. Will be a tough week

Good morning :sunny:

Just popping in before I go get NC Beast. You all were chatty last night.:chat:

Good morning everybody!

Busy day today. I won't be around much. You'll just have to do your best, get through your day without me.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_107.gif' border=0></a>

Congrats on the new laptop! Rick should get you a new pair of Vans so you can be cool again. And EXTRAS? what in the world could there possibly be? I would like a critical review from you both, what'd ya think?

Danauk - leg warmers? Say it isn't so!

Cheeringmom I think I see a little of this <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_5_128.gif' border=0></a> in your future! Work it girl!

Good morning everyone...

thanks for breakfast, I'm getting spoiled!!!

I just read all the posts I missed (I think) and all I can say is I had no clue what VANS are, and even after the picture was posted, I can honestly say I've never seen them before. Don't know where I've been... maybe I was :space: and I just don't remember.

WARNING: Techie Talk... feel free to skip the big paragraph following this quote, unless you are Ohana....

iluvtink, did the E-Mail Work???

Well, I did run the scan ... as far as I know that part worked. But I wasn't smart enough to set preferences first, so I didn't tell it to report what it found. Apparently the default preference is just to repair the problems if it finds them, but not leave any record of the repairs. I went back and clicked on your brachosaurus/ie6.exe link or whatever it was, but it says "page not available." I went to Microsoft's website, and it suggested contacting the machine's manufacturer since IE was installed when I got it. So I've e-mailed the manufacturer with the problem, and I should get an answer within 24 hours. I also looked up the FAQ on Microsoft and there is a ton of stuff on repairing/reinstalling IE, but I thought I'd wait to hear from e-machines first... maybe they will walk me through the process.

TECHIE TALK COMPLETED

I'll check back in later after Katie is at school. I'm supposed to take a 3-mile walk with a friend this a.m., then I'll check to see if the Cal. cruise info is on the website yet. Everyone have a good morning. DH is leaving for Phoenix on a private plane or jet, instead of a commercial air liner... please send PD to the pilot... I know there's less chance of a terrorist on this flight, but I still get nervous with smaller planes/jets. :(

Good Morning everyone & HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The holiday of Cinco De Mayo, The Fifth Of May, commemorates the victory of the Mexicans over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862. It is primarily a regional holiday celebrated in the Mexican state capital city of Puebla and throughout the state of Puebla, but is also celebrated in other parts of the country and in U.S.cities with a significant Mexican population."

I ain't Mexican, but I sure do love MARGARITAS.

Who wants to join me in a round of margaritas to celebrate?

I have to share this with you guys.

Our baseball team is in the local paper today - I edited it down some and took out our last name.

Red Sox run-rule Royals 10-0
By JOSH UNDERWOOD
05/05/04
The Red Sox had all their bases covered Monday.

They pounded out eight hits over four innings and scored at least two runs in each stanza.

{Daniel's best friend}Their pitcher had the Wright stuff. Luke Wright tossed a one-hitter and struck out nine to earn the complete-game win....

....It all added up to a 10-0 Red Sox victory over the Royals in 11-12-year-old Major League baseball at Suffoletta Park.

“We were an expansion team last year and finished third overall, so I came back with all of those kids which obviously helps,” said Red Sox Coach Dan *****,{that's DH} whose team improved to 6-0.
....Pack then singled and later scored on an RBI single by Daniel *****.
....A two-out rally in the second inning increased the Red Sox’s lead to 5-0.
....“We just started pumping each other up,” Wright said.
....Chad Planeaux walked, advanced to second on a Daniel ***** single and eventually scored on another RBI single for a 6-0 lead.
....The Red Sox added two more runs in the inning off a wild pitch and an error.

Ok, I know it's not such a biggie really, but it is for us. And, btw, one of those singles by Daniel was really a double. Should I ask for a correction to be printed?

:wave2: Good morning. Just back from our morning workout. The sun was shining, there was a nice breeze and the temp was wonderful. I hope everyone else's day is starting off as nice.

Deadheadbelle, it's kind of early but I'll join you for a 'rita. I'll relax by the pool with it before I head off to the dentist.

Thanks for breakfast Danauk. I'll take it out by the pool, too.

Great article llebrekniT. Congrats to your family and the team. :cheer2:

llebrekniT, of course you should ask for a corrwction, and congrats to your DH.

Deadheadbelle, OK, I'll have a chocolate Margarita... Happy Cinco De Mayo..

geffric, my tummy says "Rumble Rumble Rumble" I think it approves of the recipe. Congrats on the Concertmeister...

iluvtink, My DSL was evidently having some issues yesterday... The Microsoft link should work now...but here is the link to the zip file... Want me to e-mail it to you?
http://www.bachosaurus.com/ie6.zip

Cheeringmom, I'd offer to help move you but... To move across the street shouldn't be too terribly expensive for movers, but if you have a week to move you might just get them for the heavy stuff. A couple of dolly's and carts from Sam's should help. Also, you might check to see about moving boxes.....Sam can help you pack.....

Danauk, Thanks for breakfast...

Yup Joe, I am a fairly conservative Belt and Braces individual, but hey, DW hates it when my pants start to fall down in public...

CourtasanSatine, I am not sure if you were asking this, but the contest is for Baby Pictures of TAGLIARCHY members. Not Husbands or Wives or Fur-Kids. also, we haven't really set age limits on the pictures... What do you all think... 3-4YO, or younger?...

Gotta get dressed and off to work...

:bounce:

Wait a minute CMOM - you're just moving across the street?

Ok, I have to run, I have a doc. appt. Just wanted to let everybody who cares to know that the AP rates came out today through Aug.

There are several threads on the RB with rates people have gotten.

Nothing for Oct. yet, but the rates should be about the same as Oct. is also regular season.

Mod's are $84 a night and value's are $69

I've seen WL from $114 and I think AKL standard view was just slightly higher.

Saw Poly for as low as $209!

See ya!

Summer 2005 CA rates are available today... hope this isn't too much $$$$ or we will be going at spring Break 2006..Let you know what the cost is...

CMOM I didn't know that you were moving accrss the street.. still a lot of packing and moving.. good luck ..maybe the Boy scouts can help???
