BTW, you said you took a personal day...hope everything is "okie dokie" at your home! Tell Robin "hi!"

And lest I forget to mention other movies about a possessed bed, a possessed mirror, a possessed elevator, a possessed swimming pool and on and on. And don't forget the dolls, cars, toys, jewelry, etc...!
Hey! Maybe you could bring that psssessed lawnmower over to my house and take care of our "property line smackdown" once and for all? ;)

ADORABLE!! Where is your Minnie dress? You are sure cute enough to wear one!!!

If you guys find me wearing a Minnie dress it had better be for Halloween.

Otherwise, this girl doesn' t wear Minnie dresses or for that matter anything with "mini" in the name.

Barb, Daniel likes the idea of reading a book, often asks me to buy this or that one and I often fall for it. But he never finishes them. AND right now he is sooo grounded from his PS2 and GameCube, so he has plenty of time to read. He loved to be read to from about 9 months on, but just won't read a whole book for nothing.

Holly just tested to 3rd grade reading level, she's in 1st grade. She rarely ever reads at home. Sometimes she'll get on a reading kick and read like crazy for a couple days and then not again for months and months.

I don't get it either.

llebrekniT - you might try the "Alex Rider" series with Daniel. We checked out the books and the tapes from our library here. The books are about a 14 year old boy who becomes a secret agent in England. He has really fun gadgets like "zit" cream that disolves metal and a gameboy that does amazing things! New gadgets in every book! It's a fairly easy read and really entertaining. Anyway, just an idea!

Thank you thank you thank you. It's nice to know that I am not alone. ;) My new neighbors across the street--the one who I watch Survivor with sometimes? Okay, she is a lawyer turned SAHM to three kids. The one who went to Cornell via full scholarship? The one who takes her 6,4 and 1 year olds to London on vacation? The one who I've never heard raise her voice? Her 6 year old read Harry Potter books. They don't have cable--they go to book signings for fun.

If I didn't like her so much, I'd have to hate her. :teeth: ;)

Eric just got a new book from the book fair that looks pretty intense. It was a buy one get one free book fair, so he and another kid split the cost and each got the same book. I think it's called Scorpion? He's actually excited about it. And it's actually looks a bit longer and more difficult than Captain Underpants. :p

hey everyone.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday. Can one enjoy a Monday?, I mean really ENJOY a Monday? Maybe in WDW.

Took Josh to swim class this morning, then we went to the mall. I might buy a new dress for the wedding this weekend. I dunno. Most of the dresses I have, I am sick of. I usually buy very practical things. I have a couple of black dresses & a navy blue dress that I could wear. But it is May & the wedding is at 4pm, so I feel like wearing a little color. Anyway, I tried on a couple of dresses & now I am thinking about which one I liked the best.

Ohana, I hope everything is OK!! Enjoy your day off (you too, DanaUK).
