cadburysmom hope you don't mind me asking but what breed is Cadbury? :)
What, are you kidding me? She's the nicest, sweetest, most beautiful chocolate lab you've ever seen!:teeth:

I'm so sorry cadburysmom it sounds like a bit of a nightmare to me
So is anyone doing anything fun this evening? I'm a bit bored at the moment :bored: :bored: DH was on a course after work so I have been in the house on my own all evening. Oh well Las Vegas is on in an hour.

New update from the gas company men......they have a machine that can bore a hole under trees and driveways big enough to pull a pipe through. But hopefully, they won't have to use it.

This has been kinda interesting......Jordan and all his friends are outside watching and the men from the gas company are showing them the hole and all the different phone, gas, cable and street light lines.....very educational.....we just might have a few future engineers in our midst.

Sorry if this whole gas leak episode is boring you, but for where we live, this is the most exciting thing that's happened since Hurricane Isabel!

cadburysmom, I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for the next update.;) Ha! I'm glad they aren't going to mess with your tree. I hope the azalea's can be saved.

Danauk, do you like Las Vegas? I love that show. I love the main guy, Josh Duhamel (Danny on the show). Hubba hubba.

CourtasanSatine, I'm not sure about Van Helsing. I'll check in my new Entertainment Weekly Summer Movie edition. Are you going to see irobot? I think it looks really good. I love Will Smith.

RRBB I LOVE the picture of the boxes...they look HUGE! Love the mouse too but it looks like he could easily beat up on those poor little dragons :teeth:

I'm off to t-ball practice.

What's for dinner tonight? We are having beef chimichanga's (sp?). They are really yummy...

Later...

Sounds like the boys are having fun cadburysmom!!

DH is home now so I am less bored. However he is watching some program about British history and Jack the ripper!! I'm not exactly watching it

My assistant wasn't in at work again today (not sure when she will be back either, hey why should I be told anyway it only directly affects me!!)
I did find out today though that I am getting one of those cool interactive whiteboards installed in my classroom in a few weeks time, so it will be a new toy to play with :teeth: They are great, I just write on it normally, press a button and it turns it into typing, press another button and it will print the info off if the kids need it at a later date. Plus it does lots of other great things which I will be given training on (much to the delight of the female members of staff as the IT trainer is yummy!!)

Deadheadbelle I'm really getting in to Las Vegas. We are only on episode 3 this week but I love the show. I have a thing about Las Vegas anyway. It was the first US city I visited nearly 2 years ago now. Did I tell you about my stay in the Venetian (getting a free upgrade to one of the suites they only give out to their high rollers, that you normally can not book!)?

cadburysmom,

Azaleas,
http://www.azaleas.org/

The Mouse is a pushover...He lets the Dragons ride him, he serves as a pillow, and his favorite movie is "The Great Mouse Detective" although he likes Gus-Gus in Cinderella

:bounce:

ohanafamily Cool azalea link.....thanks to you, I'm now spelling it correctly!

And thanks again for all your help with the boxes.......they look SO huge and hopefully most are full of chocolate:) PLEASE let us know if we need to send more $$$ for postage.....::yes::

BTW, have you ever been to WDW during Memoral Day weekend? I'm guessing the parks will be really, really crowded.....but who cares, a vacation is still a vacation!:teeth:

geffric Have you recovered from the hike yet? That would be my worst nightmare...i'm just NOT the outdoorsy type. You are such a great mom to hang in there and finish the hike....and an even greater one for deciding to go home early and not let those boys drown in their tents!:teeth:

Hi cadburysmom

the adults didn't want to sleep in wet sleeping bags either..
:teeth:

But i am recovered.. my feet were find it was the legs that bothered me a bit but since have had the pleasure of standing from 10 am to 7 pm in a trade show booth.. i feel just fine...LOL
Eric tried to get out of playing soccer on Sunday, said his ankle hurt.. so I called his coach and we agreed that Eric would just be on the sideline and cheer on the team... We got to the game, and he took off..dribbling his ball.. so he played for about 1/2 the game..

I just need some sleep..

back to the booths... TTFN

I'm so excited!! Heather hads braces for a year when we were in the 5th grade!!! Honey just got hers last October!!!!

Muzzey doesn't have braces!! He hasn't been mooning anyone since the "Great Paintball Incident"!!! :teeth:

oddball27,

Congratulations on getting the braces off and on your graduation from eighth grade.

I know from experience what a relief it is to finally get the braces off. Mine were pretty painful.

Oh yeah, big relief!! Mine didn't really hurt, I just didn't like them!!! :teeth:

That's great!:teeth: Do your top teeth feel really slimy? I know when I got my braces off, my teeth felt so slimy and weird. I guess after wearing braces for 2 yrs, you get kinda use to them. How long did you have them on?

And who is Bobby Flay and where might I have seen him???

I am so psyched to have em off!!!! Yep, they do feel kinda slimy, lol!!!!!:teeth:

Bobby Flay is a chef, he has a show or two on Food Network!!!:teeth:

You should have seen the first boxes I got
::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Actually, it was quite fun doing the swap. As far as postage goes, with the exception of Danauk, the postage ran $14-$16. If you sent more, I sent change (OK, we missed a couple of boxes and are going to send a separate envelope later on ... If we can't figure out whose address is whose, we might have to ask for an address or 2 again. As far as the packages for HuggaBaloo and CourtasanSatine, I think we split them up equitably, they got used boxes and they are ready for Thursday (when we send out Depplyinluv's)

You might receive the packages as soon as tomorrow :hyper:

Oh, and oddball27, I forgot to congratulate yoou on loosing the Mouth Bling-Bling

We missed Memorial Day weekend last year by a few days - went for a wedding that was the next weekend. The parks were crowded but not awful since schools in lots of states still weren't out for the summer. I'd imagine that late June thru early August are the worst. And if you take advantage of early entry and fast-passes you can really get a lot of rides in. Oh one more thing, be prepared for rain. When we were there last summer it was nice the first few days but then it rained/poured for a period of time each day. (We'll be taking our Mickey ponchos that we got at WDW a few years ago. :))

I'm on the hunt for a new job come summer since I hate being at the mercy of family payday
So you're working for your family, huh. I can understand wanting to get away from that - I've heard lots of horror stories about working for family. So what is it that y'all do?

How do you find out which days are early entry?
