Morning one and all. Interesting posts!

I don't have any good cop stories. Although we do have one neighbor who is the HUGEST busy-body I've ever encountered. I have never in my life been confronted by a nastier, more evil old woman! Here are a couple of stunts she's pulled:

1. Should ANYone park their car near her driveway, she goes outside to study whether their vehicle crosses an invisible line into her space. If it does, she always calls the cops on whoever it might be AND leaves a nasty note explaining her actions. The cops I've spoken to think she's ridiculous.

2. I had a friend staying at our apartment for a couple of weeks. I was at work when my friend called to tell me that the old woman from next door had called her and YELLED at her to stop letting my dog in the back yard. Apparently whenever my dog is outside, another neighbor's dog goes insane and starts barking.

Apparently this old biddy is afraid to confront this neighbor because they told her where she could go. So her reaction is to yell at my friend and us because she thinks it's now our fault that the neighbor's dog barks.

Anyway, this brought my friend to nervous tears which mortified me. So I call the old woman and tried to have a civil conversation. Well, as the talk went on, she became more and more and more irate, screaming that SHE was known in the neighborhood for being nice to everyone and how DARE I call her and tell her otherwise? She kept screaming and screaming and then hung up!

So I called her back and the moment she answered, I simply said "If you ever call and speak to me, Joe or ANYONE who answers my phone with anything but respect... If you EVER harrass anyone in or near my apartment... If you even LOOK at me with nothing but respect, I'll start calling the cops on YOUR (insert body part) for harrassment." And I hung up!

Never heard a peep for months. She wouldn't even look at me if I passed her on the street. She'd go inside and close her door! Yay!!!!

3. Well, months go by and she apparently grows another set of (insert body part here). I'm walking to the store and the old biddy pokes her head out her door, "Excuse me. EXCUSE ME!" she starts screaming. I look at her and she immeidately starts screaming once again that MY dog was making too much noise whenever he's outside. I try to explain once again that Bill does NOT romp out in the backyard, that he ONLY goes in the back to do his business and then he comes back indoors. That it was the neighbor's dog who was barking whenever Bill, Joe OR I go outside. That she should speak with her neighbors and not us.

Once again, she starts SCREAMING so lout others in the neighborhood start listening. I let her have her say. I let her make an *** of herself. She goes on and on and just before her door slams, I smile and say, "(insert bad word here) you." Which got the exact reaction I wanted.

She and FINALLY her husband come screeching outside and demand to know what I just said to her. So, once again, I smile and say, "(ditto) you." And happily walk off to go to the grocery store.

She has never, ever, ever said a single word to me since that day. Which was about 5 years ago.

Did I tell you I hate her? And mind you, the ENTIRE neighborhood can't stand her either!

Interesting side note about her husband. He was always quiet and barely said "boo" to me prior to that day. But since then, he smiles and waves at me. Wishes a "good evening" or "good morning." Perhaps it's not just the neighborhood that wishes she'd drop dead!

Just popping in to say GOOD MORNING and...

....I don't want to go to work.....I want to still be on vacation!
Oh well, at least I'll get to tell all my WDW stories for a few days...then WE can start making plans for OCTOBER!!! ...OK, maybe I can hold of till the next batch of y'all get back from your upcoming trips.....THEN we can start planning for OCTOBER

OK, I just got some sad news...DSIL was supposed to cal DW at 9:30, so I should be safe posting this now...Our Dear Nieces will not be able to join us on our May trip. There are so many travel restrictions it just wouldn't work. For example. SW Airlines says that they must be on a direct flight. OK, there is 1 direct flight. It leaves at 11:00AM. They need to be there at 9:00AM, and cannot leave until the plane leaves the gate. This is on their opening day. On American, it can't be the last flight of the day, so they can't go after school on Thursday. It is a logistical nightmare...

[COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR], since we have the PS for 6, what say you we see if [COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR] and [COLOR=FF3300]NC Beast[/COLOR] want to join us... Disadvantage to them is the best Fireworks seats are on tables for 2.....

Hey everyone!

ohanafamily, bummer about your DN's. Maybe you should plan a Magical Gathering with the entire family. You could plan everything & be "tour guide ohana". I'm sure you'd enjoy being in control...LOL!

RickinNYC, we have a busy body who lives next door, but she's not mean. She's actually quite nice & it is good when we go away & DSIL stays here. We always tell DSIL that the old lady next store knows everything that goes on & she'll call the cops if you have a party. She peeks through the backyard fence (which is really hard as she has a privacy fence) to see what flowers DH is planting & what the kids are doing. Anyway, she's pretty harmless, but if she catches you outside, you will be stuck chatting for a good hour.

[COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR], how long is your drive to WDW? Are you going drive at night? What's the plan? Have I mentioned how jealous I am?????

[COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR], I don't know how you function on so little sleep. You should take a nap or something.

Ok folks, I know we are not supposed to beg for tags, but I cannot believe there are members of this here TAGLIARCHY that are tagless!! How can this be? I, for one, will start clapping again in order to attract the TAG FAIRY to our mansion. I'm sure once he/she realizes what is going on here, this situation will be remedied. Before you start freaking out ohanafamily, let me just say that I will keep my clapping here at the TAGLIARCHY & I will not start new threads asking for tags.

So, let's see, who needs a tag? [COLOR=66FF00]iluvtink[/COLOR] & [COLOR=009966]NC Belle[/COLOR] are two that I just noticed recently. Who else is there?

We're so sorry your cute nieces won't be joining us but totally understand. Maybe next year!

Lauren's IEP went great. She is doing so well that they cut services in half. Not totally- which is good b/c it would be hard to get them back! This is the first time I had all of lauren's therapists in the same room the same time. They are still bashing the doc that said Lauren has Aspergers. I loved every minute of it!!!

CADSBURYMOM, Sam bought a dress for the prom before she had a date. In fact the little shopper bought two dresses. She is hoping to be nominated for a Cappies award at the Kennedy Center for the play coming up this weekend. She won't find out about that until the end of May. however she will know if she received a critics choice. She is quite the ham!!

gotta go to speech in a few. Be good!!
