Tagliarchy Island Part 2

Good evening all, I thought I would just call back in after work. This evening I have to prepare for my interview tomorrow (think of good answers to questions that always come up etc.)
I spoke to my head teacher today as she wished me luck and she said she had been talking to the head teacher who is going to interview me tomorrow as they are friends. She said that 72 people applied for the 4 jobs that are going. So I guess even if I do not get it I did well to get an interview.

llebrekniT I'm so glad you are able to take your MIL home from the hospital today :D More PD to her to make sure she carries on getting better.

Well I have to go as the cats are jumping all over the keyboard - I think they want their dinner. Then I guess I better get on with dinner for DH and I too.

Deadheadbelle and llebrekniT SO glad to hear about your mom/MIL!! Yay!! :happy2:

Anyway..Krispy Tink - when will you be at WDW doing your imitation of a lobster?

We'll be arriving the afternoon of Thursday, July 29 and staying at Beach Club for 3 nights, then leaving for 4 nights on the Wonder on Sunday, August 1. Today we are at the double digit countdown. Krispy or not, I can't wait!!! Well, really I can wait a while, because I still want to trim down my BB a bit so I can be seen in a swimsuit without scaring people!

Will you be there then, by any chance????

Barb - T & T's grooming was $86 and she actually had little pelts for me to see how badly they were matted. I was mortified. My guys both need neutering, and Toby is 3, so his will cost twice as much because it is more complicated, apparently, as they get older. So I keep putting it off, like a bad mom.

RRBB and Ohana (and Neph and Niece) ... I LOVE those pictures! I do so wish I could go in October with the goils... :(

RRBB looks like I'll be sending a cheap package(well envlope).I'll add 2 to 3 dollars after postage

RRBB OMG!!! Y'all are TOO cute in those!! Where do you find adult costumes like that? The only adult ones I saw last year (given...didn't look hard, but still) were Pooh and Tigger and Mickey....

Hey...Lewski and Barb! We could go as the 3 Fairies in Sleeping Beauty! Dibs on NOT being green...it's just NOT my color! But I'll gladly do pink or blue! Any other 3's you can think of? I know there are 3 cows in Home on the Range, but really....who wants to go as cattle? Yuck!

Hmmm.... 3 duck nephews...
...could each choose a princess....
....every TAGLIKIN going could be a dalmation and we could be the 101 Dalmations...
...hmmm...gotta give this some thought....

Thanks and Didn't. I made the costumes (both potato & W&J). We did purchase the W&J hats at the Disney store - kids sizes that's why it's so small on ohanafamily.

I'll let you in on a secret. I don't really sew, although I had to do some straight lines for the potato costumes. As for the W&J costumes - store bought blue jeans, paint on old shirts of ohanafamily's, and some of that iron-on "no sew" stitching. I didn't even take out my sewing machine for those. But shhh, don't tell anyone.

Hey everyone!

llebrekniT is on her way back home. Doctor didn't show up by 2pm, so my dad is going to pick up my mom this afternoon.

AZKathy! So glad you stopped by to say hi. You have been missed.

RRBB, your costumes are great! I couldn't get DH to put on a costume for anything. I'm looking forward to MNSSHP. I don't know which night we will go. I loved MVMCP. We went 2 x's on our last trip. I don't know if my mom & dad will want to go, though. llebrekniT & I need to do some planning.

Thanks again to everyone for the all the prayers, PD, & well wishes for my mom. She is really doing better & she is so glad to be going home.

OMG!! Just saw my counter! 8 days plus a little bit? YIKES!! I have not done laundry. I have not begun to pack. I have not gotten out the luggage. I haven't even made a list yet!! HOLY SMOKES!!

SOOOOOOOOOO..........gonng go get busy on that :) Check back in with you guys/gals later!

kadaten, chill out, you've got plenty of time. Have I mentioned that I am the biggest procrastinator in the world? When DH & I got married, we packed for our honeymoon after we got home from the wedding around midnight. We were leaving for Hawaii the next morning at like 5am. I was a maniac trying to get everything together.

So, I just talked to my husband's best friend from high school. DH has been wanting to catch up with him for a while, but he moved & we didn't have his new phone number. Anyway, I spoke to him today & he is divorced. They have 2 kids & his wife was cheating on him! Their divorce was final in November. This is the second couple who are friends of mine (or DH's) that I know who are divorced. I guess I'm getting to that age. It freaks me out, though.

Hey Deadheadbelle, what are you doing here on the TAG? GH just started!!!

I'm back.

Hopefully DMIL is settling in at home about now, no thanks to me. GRRRRR, doctors! They said she would be released between 12 and 1:00. At 1:00 the doctor still hadn't showed, I went on up to the room, waited until 2:00, Holly has to be picked up from school at 2:45 and it's at least a half-hour drive to get back to get her, so I had to leave. So FIL was driving up to get her. I think the doc. showed up 2 minutes after I left.

The important thing is she is home and she is going to take it easy for quite a while I hope. Her stints stay in until June, so I will be keeping a close eye on her until then and she had better not so much as vacuum.

So, I have noticed that since I haven't been around much the QOTD has faded away somewhat.

I have a fun one: If you were given $1 million and you had to spend it on yourself, what would you buy? I'm talking material objects, no charity stuff. This is for fun, not like it's going to happen on anything.

I'll be back in a bit to check on the answers.
