HOWEVER.......how long is this particuar package available? I might be interested in it for later in the summer if it doesn't expire soon. And is it just one park admission, or two?(Can't imagine it being two for that price.) I know I'd love to go back and stay at a Disney hotel and that package combined with driving over looks really good on the pocketbook.

Well, I've brought the swap box into the computer room and am going through it and sending out my Thank Yous then finding a 'home' for all the toys!

Just got a phone call, a Starbucks decaf mocha frapchino with whipped cream is on it's way to my house, courtesy of PixieMagic. She's just the best, at being a best friend!

Deadheadbelle What a SCATHINGLY BRILLANT IDEA! I'll have to work on that. Haven't 'spoken' (IM) to him since last Sunday. Might just be time for an e-mail or phone call. However, we're not exactly at the share a hotel room stage, but these details can be worked out!

So, back to my recipe search. DH is convinced we will be able to grill out tonight and I've bought some shrimp to put on skewers, I want them to taste like the ones at O'hana's so I am going to dig around and see what I can find. I may go to the AKL. HELP me who has stayed there before ? I dont wanna ask on the CB I seem to trust you guys more

How is the transportaion ? We always rent a samll car while we are there , but going to the parks I use Disney transportation.

So come on let me know what you think . It is my DH 1st tiem to WDW since he went with his parents as a child ( not that it was that long ago LOL)

I want him to have a great time and I think that is why I'm second guessing on my hotel now

geffric and [COLOR=66FF00]iluvtink[/COLOR] Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about CRT. The main reason I chose it is because Jordan was very excited to eat in the "Castle" last summer but had a very bad experience and had to leave almost as soon as he was seated.

Jordan's dad loves him a lot but every time they have a father-son trip, Jordan doesn't get enough liquids and gets dehydrated and throws up. So my ex's mom and myself warn him to give Jordan plenty of liquids as it is so hot in WDW in mid-July. Well, after two days of drinking mostly sodas and Jordan not getting dehydrated, my ex decides to give Jordan only MILK all day because it is healthy. Well....you know what milk will do to a person's stomach after a day in the parks.....by the time they had waited FOREVER for a table at CRT and the food was just being served....Jordan's tummy rebelled and he threw up all over the table. Needless tosay, Jordan was embarassed and mortified and they left immediately. My ex called me that night and just couldn't understand that it was all that milk that had hurt Jordan's stomach....

Sorry for the long rant.....but.....Jordan feels he missed out on something really special last summer so I've promised to take him again and NOT make him drink milk all day

I've never stayed at either one, but the WL is more convenient to Epcot and MK. We've eaten at the Whispering Canyon Cafe there, which is a riot, and we loved the look of the Lodge and almost stayed there this time... except we really wanted to have the Stormalong Bay sand bottomed pool for the afternoon break. Which parks will be be at the most? I've seen that ohanafamily posted some on the Transportation Board about buses and waits, maybe he has an opinion?

Sam had closing night on the show. She PROUDLY displayed the Clay picture that DHB sent her on her make up mirror. Too funny.
She was fab last night. I'd say that even if she wasn't my own flesh and blood. In fact the Cappies founders were at the show last night during act II (Sam's act) and wanted to meet Sam. Was praising her up and down,. Sam was on cloud 9!!
The Cappies is the high school equivalent to the Hollywood Oscars. It is held at the Kennedy Center and the actors get nominated by student critics on performance. Its a big deal in this area and is growing all over the country. Great concept for these kids that work very hard.

Off to bake dessert for our small group tonight. TTFN

Well I thought maybe Dh would like to take that early monrning safari thing they have there . And maybe it would be nice to see animals just roaming around .

When I went in Oct I stayed at WL because I brought my 3 yr old nephew with me and I knew I would be in the MK alot .
This time we wil be everywhere cause it is just adults.

I love the WL but I guess I want to make sure he is at the best one LOL . He has never stayed on property before.I want him to go back with me .

[COLOR=CC0000]Mad4Mickey[/COLOR], I stayed at AKL for two nights last November and loved it. I've never stayed at WL so I can't give you a side-by-side comparison. AKL is kind of stuck out there by itself, so travel time on the busses may be a little longer. I think WL being on the water has the option of boat transportation to MK also (but boats are not a 'fast' way to get anywhere). However, the themeing is often what attracts me and AKL is like being in Africa (in a cleaned up, Disney sort of way) and is probably why I'd choose it over another resort. And then, there's BOMA where I would want breakfast and dinner every day if I had the $$$. What about a split say? A good option if you are there for a whole week.

So that's my 2 cents.

For convenience, on the monorail is the best. Might I also suggest looking in to BCV or BWV through renting Points?

BCV is great because you can walk to world showcase at EPCOT. You can walk through EPCOT straight to the monorail... You can also walk to MGM.

I have never stayed at WL, but plan to later this month...

You could always PM Majestic, I am sure he would shoot you some straight scoop.

OK, Back to emptying the upstairs closet. RRBB seems to think she is unable to reorganize, clean up. or file without me. If I say a word that she might want to do some of it on her own, I am the evil one. I asked her to calm down and take a nap, now she is sulking in her scrapping room. I mean, I am not the one who told them not to bother to bring the stuff back to the downstairs closet, I am not the one whose sister is coming in a week or three so it needs to be done now....

I better stop now before I say something that will be used against me for the next 30 years.....I will finish emptying the closet, without her help, and brace myself to be yelled at when everything is not put back in the closet the way she wants it.....I mean it is mostly my stuff...especially the long dresses.....
