Yes, we do have powerball, but I wouldn't have needed that if the rest of my picks would have lined up nicely. No such luck. It's only when there ISN'T money involved that I can be a winner. :crazy:

Hi, In and out here...

Lewski709 - cute as usual pictures... I'm glad you found Grant... my heart stopped when I read that, and I was so glad to see that you found him. Long story short... my niece hid with a friend in her house one day and neither mom could find them... my sister was hysterical, my mom was trying to keep her calm, the police were scouring the neighborhood, they had checked the house 3 times when a policeman walking by heard a giggle. Fortunately, they were young enough that their parents didn't kill them after they cried in relief...

[color=339900]ibouncetoo[/color] - what are your trip details for next week, i.e. where are you staying, what dates, when are you at DL (didn't I read this is a business trip?) ... there is a special thing about preferred seating for the new Snow White musical that debutted ... debuted... began on Feb. 23. there's also enjoy a fourth night free at select Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotels, some get a 3rd night free, and a Receive Free Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) passes. Lots of small print that I'd have to get my DH's reading glasses to see.

We're going out for dinner tonight, but DH has taken the girls over to a friend's house who is going to raise chickens and they have chicks that came in the mail in a box 1 day after they hatched. They are a week old now and living in this family's living room 'til they are older, I guess. Not my cup of tea. I let them go handle chicks while I snuck in a TAGLIARCHY visit.

Fuddruckers ... I love their ostrich burgers. Has anyone tried them? They are super low fat, and are safe to have a little pink, unlike beef. I can hardly taste the difference between them and hamburgers!!! A quick story: DHEd was visiting the office where I was an admin. asst. many years ago and he and my boss were going to lunch. I told my boss to bring me some Fuddrucker's chocolate chip cookies. He just said, "yeah, right." Well, when they came back from lunch, Ed brought me a bag of cookies.... and that's how it all began!

My horse didn't win, of course. Lewski, I'm taking you to Vegas with me!!! Did you see that poor old owner man on oxygen who almost couldn't breathe when his horse won? I couldn't believe how long the camera stayed on him. I was afraid he was going to die right in front of me on the screen. The Derby always makes me cry... all the way down the stretch, no matter who wins.

I think in English class, we learned that what I am doing right now is "stream of consciousness" writing. James Joyce wrote that way and I never understood a darn thing he was talking about!

Hope no one else has tried to eat a buckeye. Next time I'll send the peanut butter/chocolate version. To everyone who has PM'd me a thank you ... you're welcome and I'll PM you back on Monday.

Gotta get up tomorrow at 6:50 a.m. to begin PS calls at 6:58 a.m. for CRT for our group. Crossed fingers are acceptable. And if anyone ever needs me to join in and be another caller for them to get PS's there, just let me know. That's a friend offer and not a Disney travel planner offer. I'll be calling and doing this for my sister next Sunday!

Welcome to the Clique that is not a clique. We sit here and talk (stream of consciousness thoughts) we have some young'ons, and a couple of...well, not-so-young'ons. We have a few pets that come by, and a couple of young Dragons that if they ever want to go to WDW again need to start behaving!!!!!

Seriously, anyone and everyone is welcome here. We call this place the light side, but it is a very colorful place. No Flaming is tolerated, Pixie Dust is freely given, and the chocolate flows...Like a Chocolate River. All of the rooms have Chocolate IV's, and there is Chocolate on Tap in the kitchen. geffric or Danauk usually make breakfast in the morning, and [COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR] is usually around during the day (bored and wanting to tell us the latest scoop of her friends at school.

We have lots of teachers about, I think I am the resident Techie...Although I hear [COLOR=FF3300]NC Beast[/COLOR] is a sharp cookie, and [color=999900]hyzdufan[/color] appears to know more about Flash than I do (I tried, but need to take a course)....OK, Rants are welcome, but if your name is Nancy or Don then you might need a thick hide.....

We have Astrology lessons and talk of Amazing Over-Achieving children. We also have the cutest babies on the Dis....Did I leave anything out?

Oops, I forgot, we have a Scrap-booking corner on the Island, and A Big screen with lots of Lazy-Boy Recliners. There are Hot Tub Parties all of the time with Guest Bartenders......

I guess you just need to stick around a while to explore our Island.. I would avoid the Chocolate Vault though, after the swap the supplies are a little low and a certain green dragon has set the alarm. I would also avoid the Dragon Firing range when it is in use, the AC can't keep up with the heat.....

Welcome MsDisney23.. glad you are here.. just to clarify things... A certain dragon who will remain nameless..Nephosaurus has a stash of WONKAS.. which is running low... but we have an amble supply of Ghiradelli's, Cadbury's and and other assorted chocolates in the Chocolate vault.. we also have, for the over 21 crowd, Chocolate beer, wine and martini's ..

What's the best way to get to the resort from the airport? Last time the family was there, we used a limo service......it was 80.00 and included a grocery stop. It was great. This time, for the Oct meet, I'll be alone. Bawb is flying in to a seperate airport, otherwise we would coordinate somehow (Sanford Airport). Why am I concerning myself with this NOW?

Anybody here? We ate dinner at a new restaurant here called "Smoky Bones." It was okay ... I had a buffalo burger, but it was wayyyy too salty for me.

MsDisney, did you find out everything you need to know? If not, feel free to ask more questions. I'm one of the newer members of the TAGLIARCHY . When I first ventured here, there was a TAGLIARCHY Mansion, but then we moved to the Island, which is in the Seven Seas Lagoon. The best way to get to know everyone is just to jump in, answer the Question of the Day (QOTD), and share a little about yourself, so we can get to know you, too. My first question for you is: Do you like chocolate???

Lewski709, maybe HuggaBaloo could pick you up at the airport and deliver you to WDW ... if he's not an axe murderer. Are you, HuggaBaloo? In the meantime, I'll see if I can find any "deals" for ya.

Back from dinner.....didn't do Fuddruckers, decided I really needed some FRIED CHICKEN.

Lewski709, do you already have your flight booked for the Oct trip? When we do, if the timing is close enough we could meet at the airport and give you a ride. We'll probably be looking at airfairs soon....there is some discussion going on about doing the red-eye Friday night, which gets to Orlando like 8AM.....not my favorite option, but does give more play time in the parks.....or soaking time in the pool/hot tub, it would just be kind of hard to stay up to party Sat night ::yes::

That round trip price for Mears doesn't look too bad, but $25 can buy a few glasses of wine!

[COLOR=66FF00]iluvtink[/COLOR] the plan for next weekend is: Friday AM fly to LAX, do business meeting/lunch/dissrupt the office for the afternoon/take staff for happy hour/bribe someone into driving me to Anaheim. Staying at the Anaheim Hilton (company pays one night, I pay one night).
Sat AM get in line for DCA as we expect it to be packed as it will be the first week-end day that TOT is open to the public. We have feelers out for possible comp-passes to the parks through media contacts, but don't hold out too much hope for those, especially due to short notice. Otherwise will get a two day park hopper from the Disney Store before we go. Will fly home from John Wayne Sunday evening. Won't be taking any days off to stay longer...so just the two nights. Got a $99 rate at the Hilton (which made the big boss happy...they always expect to pay more for a LA hotel).
