AI was torture for me last night as I am not a country music fan. I hate country week, but glad it's over. I like Danny and think he did a decent job, but can't stand that song. Really hate that song. I do like some Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson songs. I like Always On My Mind and think Anoop did it well. I want to find Adam's Ring of Fire and watch it again. I found it the most interesting of the night. I bet some country music fans were in shock. Nine Inch Nails does Ring of Fire too.

DO, I'm so sorry you're in such an uncertain place right now, but believe me I can totally relate. My DH still has his job, but it's very tentative. They are averaging 3-weeks on/1 week off, and if he were going to be there, he'd only be working 2 weeks in April!! Crazy. Hang in there, and don't ever be afraid to post to us here!

this time my dd is grounded for a long time!

she was supposed to get her id so she can take her permit test. i gave her the money and her BC and SS right? well she went down there and they told her she had to have one more form of id. so what does she do instead of call me? she spends the money!!!!

what am i going to do with her?

I made her come and get the other form of id and some money and told her she owes me that money and she is grounded! and NO permit test!

Sadiedog: I did not enjoy Adam's version of Ring of Fire. I know Nine Inch Nails has a version, but they did not change the Johnny Cash original like Adam did. To me, it was downright scary and more Goth-like in nature. That's just not my cup of tea. To each his own, I guess. I loved Anoop's version of You Were Always on My Mind. That is one of my favorite songs ever, and so I was really excited about it. Again, he kept I think, enough of the Willie Nelson original to make it interesting.

IMO, the worst ones last night were Lil, the oil rigger, and Scott.

SadieDog... I thought Adam's version of Ring of Fire was surprisingly good. I mean this in a good way. But that version needs a horror movie made for it. It was...chilling.

I could totally see it used for a horror movie. I can understand how a Good Ole Country Music Fan might have been a little shocked and scared by his Ring of Fire. I love how he did something different with it. I just listened to it 4 times and enjoyed it most without the video when all I could do was listen.

SadieDog - I can't stand country music either. I'm much more a Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand type fan. So I really loved Adam's song. I downloaded the studio version on iTunes already. It's even better than the stage version.

Cheermom, I hope the teen drama lessons. It is you with the teen drama, right? Gosh, I remember those days, but it's funny, I never asked to do half the things other kids did. I don't know, something about the way my parents were (not bad or anything, just had the rules and that's that) I think I didn't even ask half the time because I knew they'd say no.

Creativeamanda, those look like some really good dining choices. Just a point of interest for you, I just read in one of my disney e-mail newsletters that Remy from Ratatouille is making appearances at Chefs de France for dinner. Basically, a server will wheel out a cart with a large domed silver tray, stating that they have a special course for you, and when they pull off the tray cover, it's Remy from Ratatouille. Of course, he has a friend travelling with him who does a lot of talking, and it's supposed to be a lot of fun for kids. There were specific times that he's there, so if that sways your decision at all, I can get better info and PM you. Also, I am a huge fan of Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We do it every year, but I've never been to Ohana's. Well, that's not entirely true. I've never been to Ohana's in this form, I have been in whatever it used to be when I was a little girl. I do plan to try it for dinner on my Sept trip, but I do have to say breakfast looks delish as well. I guess it could really boil down to which characters you think the kids would like more.
