Wednesday - snow, sleet and rain. Oh joy.

My DD has to wear all black. The tops are provided by the resturant and then they buy their black pants. I think most of the servers wear crocs there. Even the guys.

Nice they provide the tops. I was hoping her job would. Just simple polos or something.

Brrrrrrrr COLD I had my jacket on for awhile b/c it was 55 in here when I got home from daycare. I lasted about an hour then around 1pm I got sick of the cold and put the heat up to 59. Time to put on my LL Bean wool zip-up sweater jacket.

Things are starting to bud out and bloom here. That's not good though. I can pretty much guarantee that we will have at least one more hard freeze.

Well, it was a beautiful day here. Looks like on Friday, we'll be in the 40s because of rain, but other than that, I think we're going to have a beautiful week. I got a little sunburnt standing outside for a fire drill today.

Smileybug, congrats on your daughter! I know you have to be beyond proud.

ETA: It's supposed to be 85 on Wednesday and 58 on Thursday? I think the meteorologists might be a little off this week. My guess is it won't get as cold as they think it will.

About 20 min. I think it wasn't a real fire drill. I think I saw the drug dogs.

I know for a fact an hour later I was driving to another school and the temp at the bank was 84 degrees. This afternoon I went walking with the kids--we are trying to "walk to Disney", ie 600 miles before June 23--we've done 232. That's a little over 3 miles a day. Any who, it was still pretty warm then, I'd say still in the lower 80s.

What a glorious day! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the air smells wonderfully of spring!!......

No not really....it's dark and freezing and snowing but I thought I'd practice for when we move!.....

For a minute I thought you were down here, since that pretty much described the weather here.

I was lucky to be outside for work most of the day. This was a definite "I love my job" day. We did our first travel segment for my senior show. We were at the Vinoy, a beautiful resort here in St. Pete. We highlighted a historical tour and lunch. And they let us enjoy the lunch we highlighted. One of my co-workers said, "If I ever complain about how bad my job is, shoot me."

Anyone else looking forward to Dancing with the Stars? I will have to watch it after my dance class.
