Second...I swear half the problem with AI is the dang commercials!!!!! Good NIGHT but there are too many! I caught up with the DVR half way through last night, so I had to endure them for the last half hour.

Thanks for the good vibes about the girls. Boo is playing the Wii this morning, but Sweetie is just laying there. Right now, I'm finishing e-filing my returns. I usually get someone to do them, but realized last year they were using Turbotax and when she finished, she said mine was the first ever 1040 she had filed (apparently all she had ever done was 1040EZ). I was like, maybe I won't get them to do my taxes next year.

What an idiot of a superintendent, Legomom. Want me to come up there and talk to him? The superintendent in my kids' school hates to see a phone call from me. When I walk into the district office, you can see him tremble. I'm never wrong about stupid stuff he does, either.

I am so frustrated. . .I took the kids to McDonalds (driv thru) to try to get them feeling better--I always feel better when I get out of the house. Dh's uncle has been here since New Years. m When I pulled into the yard, the uncle's dogs start barking. Of course Charlie does not like it--no one is supposed to do that in his yard! Charlie goes after the boxer and the boxer immediately starts throwing Charlie around like a rag doll.

I blew my horn to get him to stop, and put Charlie in the house. It is almost 1pm and the uncle's dogs have been outside his camper on a chain since before 8am with no food or water. The uncle is nowhere to be found.

It's time for him to go back home. I called dh and asked him if I needed to talk to Jerry. He said no. I'll be good, but if Jerry asks me if his "boys" were good, I'm not lying.

sorry to hear that I hope he goes home soon i understand about family staying i had my parents and sis and family and bro and family staying with me for 2 weeks after the storm so i can imagine what it's like with him being there for 2 moths!!!

hope it gets better and your kids get to feeling better too.

Actually, he says "When the weather gets warmer up home." Well, it's not my fault he lives in New York. Between him always being around and eating our food and constant complaining about how stupid we Southerners are and how he wants to go back home, well, it's all I can handle.

On a brighter note, we're watching our WDW planning DVD right now. It gives me all kinds of warm fuzzies.

It's only natural for a chained dog to react if another dog is going after him. Can't you give them water? Then you can tell your Uncle when he gets back that he must have forgotten to care for his dogs before he left b/c YOU had to do it. Or be blunt about it TAKE CARE OF YOUR DOGS BEFORE YOU LEAVE; DON'T LEAVE IT TO ME. BTW, when are you leaving for good?

Oh, I took them plenty of water. The problem is not the dogs. Dogs do what they do. It's the total lack of respect for others that irks me about him. He's moody and dramatic. Twice I've told him to leave my kids alone. I expect my children to listen to adults, but to yell at them because they left their shoes on the floor? It's my house and my kids' house and if any of us want to line up our shoes from one end to another, it's our dang business.

So it's not just the dogs. This was just the last straw.

Two years ago he was here for Thanksgiving. He got mad at dh on Thanksgiving day and packed this things and left without saying goodbye before dinner.

creativeamanda, do you remember why he got mad at your husband that Thanksgiving? Maybe you could do it again and he would be gone tomorrow.

What a lovely being to have around your home and children. The nerve of him to speak to your children that way in YOUR HOME. None of his business if they leave stuff around. He certainly shouldn't be yelling at them for it. Time for him to GET LOST.

On a different note. My son has a Dr appt Monday to discuss ADD. The Dr is on vacation right now. I want to speak to her 1st without my son. He is very against the thought of having ADD and does not want to do anything about it. In his mind, only "certain kids" have ADD and he is not one of them. He has very negative thoughts about ADD.
