Had a good and uneventful flight, landed a bit early and arrived at my dad's within an hour. We went out to lunch (at Five Guy's, Mean Queen!), then coffee at Panera, then over to Heritage Village this afternoon (restored old buildings from various parts of Florida). GORGEOUS day.....!

Mean Queen I may not get back on the computer here again today so give me a call later on or in the morning. I'll be down there at 9:30am tomorrow....is it the free-standing Starbucks across from Target/next to Panera, or the one actually inside??

I was thinking the free standing one next to Panera. I love that Five Guys, but DH hates it. I may leave after coffee with you to go to that nail place/spa near Five Guys. I had planned to get my legs waxed for the first time next week, but I don't think I can wait until my hair appt. on Friday. I had a nice meet with LegoMom this morning! We sat around Starbucks and talked about Disney. Two of my all time favorite things! It's a very nice day here, so I think it will be very hard for her to go back home.

After our meet, I went and had the hair ripped out of my legs and eyebrows. Yeah, I know how to have a fun time.

I don't remember hearing if LegoMom was making it to Disney on this trip either.

Very windy here. Not nice at all. I'm going to go take ibuprofen now. Sinus headache and top teeth throbbing. Maybe a decongestant while I'm at it.

How long is she going to be in Fl? And is she going to get to spend any time in Disney?

No Disney for her this time, though we talked about it a lot. She's here for her dad's surprise 80th birthday party. She goes home Monday. The weather here is perfect today, which will make it even harder for her to leave. I'd be outside if my sinuses weren't acting up too!

If you find a magic cure for your sinuses please let me know. I have killer headache today to.

I've had on going sinus problems for years. I had OMT for my sinuses Wed. Thurs and Fri they were better than normal, but not so good today. After the neti pot, ibuprofen and decongestant, my head is feeling better. I had also forgot to do my nose spray, Nasacort. Doing that always helps too. In th evening, I take Singulair for my allergies. Allergies cause most of my sinus issues.

It's official - we're headed back to Vegas. Flying Southwest - first time with the airline. Their rates are about the same as others but no charge for checked luggage saving a minimum of sixty bucks round trip. I'm a little worried about their boarding procedure but from what I've been told as long as we check-in 24 hours prior shouldn't be a problem. Anyone flown with them recently? Any advice?

Hoping to stay at Palazzo (sister resort to Venetian) but the rates right now are ridiculous. They've been sending us pretty decent email offers the past few months but nothing yet for the dates we're going (4/26 - 5/1). As it stands we're booked at Treasure Island for $79 a night. The lowest offer we've gotten from Ventian/Palazzo is $139. We'll stick with TI if need be but keeping toes and fingers crossed for V/P -- I would much rather stay in a 650 SF luxury suite. Been getting some good offers from Wynn/Encore but again not the right timeframe. They sent us an offer for free nights but for this month only. Encore just opened a few weeks ago so seems to me the free stuff is strategic marketing to fill rooms. Probably won't see anymore free but maybe the rates will be decent since that's where we gambled most last trip. Vegas has been hard hit by the economy so certain resorts are practically giving away rooms. I expect TI to go down more between now and then. So excited ... 3 mths to go.

So no Disneyland this year? Vegas is an adult only Disney. I hope you get your good deal on the room you want. I am not surprised Vegas is throwing deals out.
