I am so THERE!! That was fantastic! I've seen Boyd Hill on the maps but I've never been. That sort of place is right up our alley. Have you ever been down to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary? When my middle son was 5 he and I went to visit my dad, and he took us down there. The boarkwalk is around 2 miles, but my dad always jokes that my son did twice that because he kept running ahead and then coming back!

When my middle son was 5 he and I went to visit my dad, and he took us down there. Thanks! I'm proud of that piece because I wrote, edited, produced, and voiced it. Though with a place that beautiful, it made my job easy. I even make brief appearances along with my oldest (it was before DD2).

I've never been to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. I'm actually not a big outdoor person.

We are gonna have to get you your very own GRITS sticker for your back window. Of course here in S.C. ours have a Palmetto tree on them. Heck...for that matter we have a whole slew of GRITS paraphemalia. There are stores that specialize in it.

Just in case the reminder that you will be closer to the Mouse (as in, on a Saturday morning, I get there in just over an hour) doesn't help, here's another. Tomorrow, I will be out at the Pier shooting a travel story. We will be in shorts, riding bikes, and taking a Dolphin cruise before heading up to the top to take in the view of the city from Cha Cha Coconuts. Would you be wearing shorts where you're at now? Or taking a dolphin cruise? Or sitting outside while drinking a fruity rum drink? Here, you can do that until next November. So while I will complain about the heat and my a/c bill, I'd take the humid hair ruining weather any day over snow and ice. I'm even more south than the GRITS, I'm a semi-tropical girl.

Though I do love grits and sweet tea.

That sounds like so much fun! May I ask, what exactly you do? Maybe you've said it before I started on this thread. The travel segments sound like so much fun.

I may be heading to the ER later tonight with Boo. She twisted her ankle on the trampoline. She is asleep now, and her ankle does not seem to be swelling, but she won't walk on it. I can't tell if she's hurting a lot or just being dramatic. Time will tell, but I'm keeping her out of school tomorrow.

Gosh, I hope she feels better and it's not too serious.

Well, guys, Boo is fine. she was being a bit dramatic to say the least. Her foot is wrapped and she can walk on it. What a little drama queen.

Guess what I am listening to? The music from Splash Mountain! Yep, I'm on hold. No telling when I will be off of hold, but right now that's where I am. BTW: How long is the Splash Mountain theme song? 8 minutes on hold and the song is just now changing over to Haunted Mansion!

Sadly, no Fantasmic! package was available and he looked through all of them for me. Oh well, probably was not meant to be, anyway.

Good heavens! I've been working so hard on the Disney Binder, I've almost forgotten about the Disney box! There is so much to do! For the October trip, I booked in January, so I had 10 months to plan. This one I booked in February. And have less than 3 months to plan. How on earth am I going to finish and do everything else I'm supposed to do?!? (Ya know, like that irritating thing they call a job)

Anyways, I'm going off to Fayetteville (aka Fayette-Nam) to hunt for the ever-elusive Wii Fit. I'll update my PTR tonight. I'll probably be up all night, as well planning.

IWell, I'll admit, I am sporting some Irish skin. Thank you, Granddad. So I don't do well out in prolonged heat, and I'm basically allergic to the sun. Very easy to get sun poisoning. However, as long as I wear plenty of sunblock, reapply, and drink lots of water, it's all good!

I haver to reiterate to everyone I definitely have an accent. I know I have an accent. And I'm proud of it. It's sort of a Charleston/Columbia/Greenville/Lumberton/Myrtle Beach mix. I also am of the opinion that people tend to take away 50 IQ points from me as soon as they hear me speak.

I'd like to hear your accent. There is no way I would think someone was less intelligent b/c of their accent. That's ridiculous. Sorry that there are people that made you feel that way.

Oooh!...Smileybug you must plan a trip!!!......cuz I wanna come up and meet you when you're there!... I'm going to meet creativeamanda on her trip, and hopefully TK in the fall... I owe her a Casey's hotdog and some cheese fries.

I'm packing today, as usual. It's getting depressing, though; I'm busy, busy, busy and then when I stop for a break and look around, it doesn't look much different around here!! Oy.

We're having a beautiful day here! A nice reminder of things to come and why, despite all the frustrations I'm currently experiencing, I am still moving to Florida.

I did find out that our closing will be at noon next week. Smack in the middle of the day, but DH and I think we'll still wait until the following morning to head out. If not, we'll end up outside NYC right at 5:00pm!! It'll make it a bit tight on the unloading end, but if push comes to shove, we can keep the truck an extra day for only like an extra $40. Not too bad.

Well, I need to run to the grocery store. Y'all enjoy your afternoon now!
