Next time, we'll do a morning at DHS followed by a trip to the pool and a morning at AK followed by shopping. I can easily spend 2 full days at Epcot and 1.5 days at MK. So next year, it'll be like: Epcot, DHS/pool, MK, Epcot, MNSSHP in the evening (sleep in day), AK/shopping. We'll have to move around days to find a week where the kids don't miss as much school next year, too. Perhaps the week I have planned will have the kids out of school for a few days.

Now maybe the price of grocerys will start to drop. Because they can't continue to blame the cost of gas.

That sounds like a good plan. We went to Epcot three times during our trip! There was just so much to see with the F&W festival. If I get into the Disney College Program (I find out next week) I won't have to be in Florida till late January and my friend gets that month off so we might take like a ten day vacation which would be a first for me! The problem was mainly getting the time off but it looks like I can finally get that much time off. Plus, I can justify the cost because i'll be working through holidays all year like Thanksgiving and Christmas. So this would be my one vacation for the year

The gas in NC is still $2.45. So we buy ours in Dillon and Marion counties in SC.

I like DHS, too! It's not so much that there are a ton of rides I want to do there, but I love the atmosphere. This park is best enjoyed at a slow pace, IMO. We have also discovered that we love AK! Again, it's an atmosphere thing. And probably EE....

Our gas is around $2.50, give or take, in our neck of the woods. The northeast isn't usually the most expensive in gas prices, but not the cheapest either.

LegoMom, I love AK too. We didn't enjoy EE as much as we thought we would though. The kids still liked it, but we like RnR Coaster better. The backwards part made some of us feel yucky. My husband and I could only ride it once, but the kids did it twice.

My DH only rode it once with us, too, and yet he loves RnR! I can't do the upside down bit on RnR, but I love EE. Go figure.

Nothing has ever made me so sick as Simpsons at Universal. HORRIBLE SICKENING ride. If you experience motion sickness with simulated rides, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER IT. Star Tours bothers me, but that is NOTHING compared to Simpsons. I was ruined for a few hours. I couldn't do the Hulk Rollar Coaster like planned, ET or do the drop at Universal. My friend was waiting at child swap with her baby and was going to ride it with my kids after we got off. Then she saw my face and said she would skip it. Good thing b/c my kids said they could not do it again. OMG, I was so sick.

I agree it's pretty cool for those who can take it. That certainly is not me.

Just got back from "Phantom of the Opera." It is such an amazing play. This is the second time I've seen the road show. I still stared in amazement the whole time. I will be humming those songs all night (since I surely can't sing like that.) If you ever get a chance to see it, go.

Good morning.

My brothers new kitten is sick with upper respitory. I can't get him in until tomorrow at 1:30. My brother saw him drink a little yesterday, but he only had a few bites of food. He sleeps most of the time. Poor little guy is sneezing with gunk running from his eyes and nose. They had 1 opening today but of course it was the same time as my Dr appt.
