Do you need a good surveyor? I know one very, very well.![]()
How big do you think the "puppies" will get?
Currently Tagless !!
We are going 5 nights/6 full days. I was going to do a PTR and then didn't... I do have a journal and such ready for a TR as we are doing a few things that I don't find very many threads about and figure there has to be others out there that could use the info.
We are doing the platinum plan as my DP loves loves loves to stay concierge and we have always said we wanted to go and do tours and such. So we are not really doing too much park time, but doing some of the other things that we normally never do. Parasailing and tours and carriage rides and sunrise safari etc.
And we are going all out with TS as it is not counted as 2 TS for signature dining for us on this plan. I have never done any of the regular restaurants as all the other times going my kids were little or we were broke so we did counter services or camped and took food or did the cereal in the room for breakfast and pb&j sand for lunches and then a simple dinner. So this is like a treat for us and since my oldest turns 17... a celebration of him as well.

LOL no, not yet. Just to list a house in NC the realtors have to actually go out and measure and draw..ahem... attempt to draw the house. We don't get the surveyor part until under contract. Odd also, our attorneys choose the surveyor. Doesn't that seem a little unfair?

AWESOME. AWESOME. AWESOME!!![]()

I'm really looking forward to hearing about everything ya'll get to do!! I don't do trip reports. I do not have the gift of gabby writing. But thanks to LegoMom and tinkerbellarella I have gotten hooked on reading them.

Gotta keep believing!!
Actually its pretty standard practice for the attorney to use the surveyor of his/her choice. Hubby does work for many attorneys. Are ya'll wanting to stay in your general area? Or is this a big move?

LegoMom...I know you enjoy scrap booking. But how much journaling do you do on your trip? Do you keep everything? I was on the creative site and found some really cute pages to write down everything about each park and different activities. I know the wonderful people on there will make just about anything you ask for. But I want to learn to do my own designs. (not just Disney stuff) We went to Staples yesterday to price the photoshop program. It was $80.00 with a small rebate. Not as much as I thought it would be. I'm still trying to learn at least a little about the whole thing before we spend any money. But it sure seems like this program would benefit a scrapbooker.
The tours sound like a lot of fun!! How long are ya'll going to be in the "World"? We love to hear trip plans!!

I do keep track of everything! While on the trip, I write stuff down in my PassPorter, on the PassPocket for that day. And since I don't want to a) tear those out, or b) lug the whole book to the parks, I have downloaded pages from their site that I can just fold up and take along. Then at the end of the day, I transfer what I wrote down to the PassPorter. At home, when I scrapbook, I can refer back to each day and write down things to go along with the pictures! Some people like to scrapbook their character autographs, and can really make those a nice layout page, but I've never done the autographs, just photos.
Yeah, I'm noticing that.......

I have written about little tiny travel sized items, I have written about our ADRs, and I have even written about the CS places we want to eat....What else is there before we go????!!!!![]()

WOW, that sounds fantastic. Would be a dream trip for me. I'm in the "broke, counter service, pack snacks and no extras" category. Where are you staying?
We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Only my 3rd time onsite for Disney. Once at Port Orleans, once camping.
You have done a very good job!!Are your kids getting excited?

So let me ask you this.... how does it go from PTR section to Trip report section?
How do you get a link under your name?
After the trip, when it turns into a TR, I will just let the mods know and someone will move it. Then, when that's done, I let them know again and it goes into "Completed Trip Reports."
Are you talking about the link in my signature, to my PTR?? If so, I just put it in there under Edit Signature in the User CP area. Giving it a title and not just the "http:" code is a little more complicated, but if you ever want to do that, let me know and I'll PM you the instructions!

I love Fort Wilderness!! My dream is to live closer to (or in!) Florida so we can haul our pop-up down there and stay at the Fort. DH and I stayed there once before the kids were born. My dad lived in NC at the time, so we really only drove from there (and used a tent that time, too). Can't wait to do it again.

Well i want to try to do a trip report or a food report one. We are going to a lot of restaurants and with 4 people there are sure to be a lot of food pics.. so I might do one then. I don't think I have enough info to put into a pre trip report.
Do you know any info on the photocd's? I see some people split them and are not always going at the same time as each other. I think we get one free with our package.
I don't like the way the 2009 packages are set up. You have to get the dining plan. If you don't want it then everything is seperate.![]()
More incentive to buy DVC (tell them I sent you) and get annual passes.![]()
