I won't be on much because I'll be spending the day at work shreading old IEPs and then will be at a Mary Kay meeting this afternoon. Hope all of you have a marvelous Monday!​

Just had to share. It's been dance party night here in our household. My DH was trying to find some songs on iTunes. My DD2 was dancing up a storm to each one. Well, one song has a line repeated over and over about "I want to grow up, I want to get b...ies." She grabbed hers for that line. We were dying. I can just see her hitting the clubs like her mommy did so many years ago.

My 12 year old had tried out for soccer 3 days last week and we found out today that he did not make the team.

I thought he might cry after i told him.

I quickly changed the subject to the upcoming Disney trip and the fact that I just read that one of the tours we are doing will require me ...

to squeeze my body into a wetsuit. Do they even make them in pooh sizes???

I finished the last post and then just started scrolling up to see if anyone else was on.... searching those little lights when all of a sudden i see one that is green...

Hooray....I am not alone here.....

Sorry your son didn't make the team. I know how much we hate to see our kids hurt and disappointed. Hope he has another school activity he enjoys that he can join.

I've never been in a wet suit. What are you going to be doing that requires it? Enjoy the activity and don't worry about how you look. I'm sure they are used to people of all sizes and don't give it a second thought.

Good Morning.

I need to bring my son to my sister-in-laws at 9am. He is going to do some insulating in a crawl space that they do not want to go into. Sounds like a miserable job. I hope they explain it to him well b/c he has no idea what to do. Strange thing is I got an email from her asking me to have him bring a bag lunch. What? She doesn't want to use her food and make him a sandwich?

After I drop him off, I need to go to the vet and buy heartworm preventative for my beasts. Oh 1st I need to bring some rolled coins to the credit union to make sure I have enough $ to buy the pills. I can't remember the cost. I should write it down. I better bring my female puppy with me to have her weighed in case she is 100lbs. Then she would need a higher dose. She was 86lbs last time and I don't think she has gained 14lbs but I better make sure. All very exciting stuff, I know.

I'm feeling more like this all the time. Unfortunately, this should not surprise me from her. This is the same person that wanted to pay him $1 for weeding her garden when he was younger. I don't care if he was a kid, $1 is not right for getting your garden weeded. He didn't do it. I wanted him to get paid by the job and mentioned it to her. When you are working in a crawl space and with itchy insulation and providing a service that she does not want to do, it is worth more than $5 an hour. She thought it would take about 4 hours. I don't think $20 is enough for that miserable job. My kids always seem to get screwed over. All their friends get paid twice as much from their relatives. They are happy to pay b/c they don't want to do the work themselves.

Both requires the wet suits but I thought only the Dolphins did so I convinced my DP that I should stay with the youngest who can't do that one and do the parks.... thinking I would not have to squeeze this huge body into a rubber suit. Well, then I find out that I, too, will be wetsuited. And as a special little gift... they take your picture as a souveneer... ohhh this should help me to jump back into my diet after a week of luxury dining.

LegoMom...I know you enjoy scrap booking. But how much journaling do you do on your trip? Do you keep everything? I was on the creative site and found some really cute pages to write down everything about each park and different activities. I know the wonderful people on there will make just about anything you ask for. But I want to learn to do my own designs. (not just Disney stuff) We went to Staples yesterday to price the photoshop program. It was $80.00 with a small rebate. Not as much as I thought it would be. I'm still trying to learn at least a little about the whole thing before we spend any money. But it sure seems like this program would benefit a scrapbooker.

We are doing the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour and the Dolphins in Depth. Both requires the wet suits but I thought only the Dolphins did so I convinced my DP that I should stay with the youngest who can't do that one and do the parks.... thinking I would not have to squeeze this huge body into a rubber suit. Well, then I find out that I, too, will be wetsuited. And as a special little gift... they take your picture as a souveneer... ohhh this should help me to jump back into my diet after a week of luxury dining.

Don't worry about it and have a great time. It sounds like so much fun.

They are not young puppies anymore. They are 8mos. My male was 105lbs last month. I wonder how much he has grown? Smileybug, what amazes me is the things that they can destroy and with record time. They ate a young mountain ash tree yesterday. We are trying to keep the larger young tree. They only ate a smaller branch off that one. The smaller tree they grabbed and pulled down so it was completely flat to the ground. Then they proceeded to debark it and rip off all the limbs. The larger one is as tall as my house with the smaller about 4 feet shorter. Well, it only a 3 foot stub now. What can you do but laugh?

We are going 5 nights/6 full days. I was going to do a PTR and then didn't... I do have a journal and such ready for a TR as we are doing a few things that I don't find very many threads about and figure there has to be others out there that could use the info.

We are doing the platinum plan as my DP loves loves loves to stay concierge and we have always said we wanted to go and do tours and such. So we are not really doing too much park time, but doing some of the other things that we normally never do. Parasailing and tours and carriage rides and sunrise safari etc.

And we are going all out with TS as it is not counted as 2 TS for signature dining for us on this plan. I have never done any of the regular restaurants as all the other times going my kids were little or we were broke so we did counter services or camped and took food or did the cereal in the room for breakfast and pb&j sand for lunches and then a simple dinner. So this is like a treat for us and since my oldest turns 17... a celebration of him as well.
