MORNIN! WHY isn't it Friday yet?

Hope you're all feeling better today... It's supposed to be a lovely day, and even nicer weekend! I wish I could take a day off and enjoy the weather. I'd like to take the kids to see TS3, but who wants to be inside when the weather is so great out. We might have to wait till next week.

TK. those ultrasounds are amazing. Aren't you just in love :love:already, and can't wait to just hold him. I know the last few weeks can be really tough, but enjoy this time, it's so precious..

Everytime I drop off my 2 year old @ daycare and I see the infants in the buggys, my heart melts... I think that's why I ended up with 4 in the first place. I would LOVE to have another baby, but I'm at my limit. I just miss the new born stage so much. Plus I'm getting too old. The last one was pushing it for me, it was a much harder pregnancy than the others. Then again, I look at some of my friends and co-workers who are my age, and their kids are all getting out of HS, and or even college, and they are really starting to have fun and get their lives back. Still.. wouldn't trade it for anything.

Now seriously.. why isn't it Friday yet?

Well, that is one thing we have in common. I have 4 as well. But mine are grown. 21, 22, 24 and 26. Hoping one day there will be grandkids before we are to old to chase them around Disney. :rotfl:

Hey guys--I feel like I'm so out of the loop. Sorry. It's taken me awhile to get over my post Disney blues. (Of course, booking another trip helps). Mean Queen--I talked to Anne yesterday about BLT. We are still interested, but I told her we would let her know how interested after we found out about National Board Certification. That's $75,000 for each of us over a 10 year period. If all goes well, when Sweetie and I are there in December, we'll do the walk through and sign paperwork in Jan/Feb. It's hard not to jump on it, and dh has now after our June trip seen the need for DVC--he even watched the show on the Disney Network, but we have to be able to do it without stretching the budget every month. Right now the way things are, we are almost always making a payment to Disney for a trip once a month, but with no contract, if things are slim for a month, we can skip and catch back up the next, KWIM?

Anywho--TK, I am so glad to read that things are going well with the baby. Are you still in a cleaning mood? My office was moved to the school where I work the most yesterday and I'm currently taking a break from box opening and unpacking.

Mean Queen--glad to hear the kitty is okay.

Which reminds me--when we got home from Disney, Mickey was gone. We have coyotes in our area, so he was probably taken off by one. We are about finished with outside cats. Next one is going to have to stay inside, for certain.

Lego Mom--Hope things are going better with camp.

daisyyy--I sometimes wish I had one more kid. . .and I don't know why it's not Friday yet, but it needs to be.

Sadiedog and PaMom: Hey!

Smileybug--I know I said it before, but I've missed you. Really.

iwas--I need to get back to you about that stuff you posted about the kid with special needs. I don't know if you know, but I work as my school district's Low Incidence Disabilities Coordinator. I can't believe that kid was put with you with no adult support. I certainly would have insisted on it. You did amazing with the situation and you certainly deserved your ice cream

kimmar. . . . . .There are no words.

If I missed anyone, I'm sorry.

Now it's back to unpacking. I see kids on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week and need to get busy.

creativeamanda - Great to see your post! Glad you're getting back in the swing of things. PDD is never good.:sad1: Unless, of course, it spurs the booking of that next trip!:cool1:

I just wanted to say that I just saw your new TR title: there IS no such thing as "enough" or "too many" when it comes to the POTC ride.....I still have the soundtrack going through my head, and no desire to stop it!:cloud9:

I'll try to stop over at your TR soon!

Which one sticks in your head more? Yo Ho Yo Ho... or It's a Samll World afterall?

Wow.. but yours were much closer in age. I don't think I could manage if mine were that close in age. Being outnumbered is hard enough, but when the adult to child ratio is skewed in their favor, I tend to loose control. I can't talk on the phone, because that's when they know my attention is being diverted, so it's a free for all.

...well, that beats the 'voices'....:rolleyes1

True dat....

Oh Pirates, without a doubt!.....although I have more than just the "Yo Ho" part going 'round....it's like having whole the ride audio soundtrack, right between my ears!...:rotfl2:

You know, I had a childless friend once who could just never get around that fact....she would claim to "understand" but then would always berate me for never calling. Well, umm....you go to bed early, and if I call too late, you don't like it, but if I call before then, my kids are still awake and the minute I pick up the phone, all heck breaks loose!!!

They make kitty anxiety meds?

I know! I guess everyone needs to just chill out.

I wonder when they grow out of that. Smiley? Any hints?

Amanda - did you do the tour when you were there? I understand liking the ability to take a break. But once it's paid off, your payments on DVC will get smaller while just paying outright for Disney will get larger. And we all know we aren't going to give up going to Disney any time soon.

No, Shay, I did not do the tour. That's why I think I should do it in December. Anne keeps telling me our stay in Dec should be the first as owners, but I'm convinced our first owner stay should be as a family. Plus, I don't know about National Board yet, so. . .

Legomom--I don't know what spurs me to love POC and HM so much, but I love them both. I think they are just spectacular as far as details go and I always see something different each time.

OMG look at that post. Sorry I rambled so much.

Sadiedog--I'm sorry that happened to you. It's frustrating when adults can't act like adults. All of them are out of high school right? Then it's time they acted like adults.

I might would get a restraining order--they sound like they'd do more.
