That's about the time we were there last year. It was very pretty and for this Floridian, very cold. There was a little snow. We rented a 3 story cabin with another family. I think they'll have a great time.

Thanks! I started having contractions yesterday, but they fizzled out and didn't amount to my being dilated much further. My back, however, is really achy, very similar to the start with my DS. We'll see.

Well, I know with mine (who were all late, thank you very much...) I was SO. DONE. by this point.....So here's hoping the little guy is preparing to make an early entry!

Yep, I'm good. Got my run in and just took a shower. Now I'm contemplating the rest of my day. And DISing..... And am likely to go price out a trip for next year. DH said a short time ago that he really wants to go next year banana:) and that's all I need to grab a hold and RUN with it!!

Likely mid-late September. Free Dining, of course (that is always the better deal for us over a room discount). If by some chance hell freezes over next year and they don't offer Free Dining, then we'd take a room discount, but I'll take "Free Dining" for a thousand, Alex...




Anyway, we've just made such a habit of going in September that we've come to love it. We're used to heat, aren't bothered by it, and love the lower crowds.

LegoMom.....Are the Halloween decorations up when you go? I bet the boys would enjoy seeing them if not. Maybe next year they will extend free dining like they did this year. It has been extended until Dec.
Because of this we booked a trip Nov/Dec time frame.

Smileybug--I was up and on the road at 6:00am--I had to drive to Lugoff for a meeting. I just got back home and I have to go again tomorrow. Yesterday when I got home from the meetings, I went to bed. Today, I have a sugar/caffeine high from Starbucks coffee and Rush's sweet tea. (For those of you who don't know--Rush's is a fast food-type establishment only in the midlands area of South Carolina--if I drive through, I have to visit there.)

Boy, you have been busy! How are the schools doing in your area? We have had alot of teacher layoffs. They have combined some schools. But then again new schools are on line to be built in the very near future.

Oh yes. We've been as early as Sept. 8th and they're already up (they started doing MNSSHP that week!). I've actually considered doing MNSSHP in the past but for 5 of us, I just can't justify the expense.
