Good morning, everyone!!

Sorry I can't even post much on weekends... just too much going on, usually. Like studying, studying, and more studying.

But it paid off -- I got a 96 on my Molecular Biology midterm! I was sweating that one.

Hope everyone else had a great weekend! Mean Queen, we're sweating it out here, too. Where is fall???

I'd take a Disney punishment any day of the week. Are you all wearing costumes to the party?

The adults are wearing personalized Mickey Mouse Clubhouse t-shirts and Mickey ears with black shorts (since it's so dang hot!) My kids are going to be Belle and Tinkerbelle. Though I doubt the little one will last long since they make those costumes so itchy!

When I did overnights, my DH was on them also. But once he got moved and I was still on them, it got so hard to spend time together. That's good you are setting your sleep schedule to get the most hubby time.

GINA - Molecular biology? What are you studying to become?

It's just plain old required Biology, officially. But this is A&M, and they don't graduate dummies. It's WAY beyond regular Biology, and I have been pulling my hair out over it. Molecular genetics (what we have been covering the past few units) is just so hard to wrap your brain around.

I'm not studying to become anything other than a college graduate, finally. I started in the early/mid-80's, and then just gave up. Now I just want to finish it so I can say I finished it, and anything else that comes of it will just be gravy.

I'm back!

Job went real well, I think. I spent the first few hours watching, which is boring but necessary, but once I jumped in and started doing stuff, the time flew by!

I need to get our costume acts together, too! Of course we're not doing anything as cool as MNSSHP but none the less... Actually trick-or-treating in our town is a lot of fun - it's a small town (around 1200 people) and since once you leave "downtown" the houses get pretty spread out, just about everyone goes into town and does this loop. Everyone who lives in town decorates their houses and really gets into it. And of course you see everyone you know! I had threatened my kids to go as the Travelocity Roaminng Gnome, but I don't have the ambition to put that costume together so they lucked out and will just get "mom!"

Good afternoon everyone! I bought my kids costumes this weekend. They are so excited, the oldest boy is going to be captian Jack, my DD is going to be a flower power hippy (with the big afro), and the baby is going to be Elmo!

We found out today that the baby has bronchitis (sp?) so he is not feeling well.

I hope you all had a great weekend. I start my new old job tomorrow, so I may not be around too much for a few days.

costume will be (hopefully) a prince charming costume (im entering an online costume contest) Im getting material on saturday because Im going to town.
My poster is part of my portfolio for my art exam this year, Im basing mine around medusa (the theme was "withered by time")

Ever since I went to MNSSHP last month, I feel like Halloween is over! It's kind of strange. I can't believe that soon Halloween WILL actually be over, and we'll have to start preparing for the holidays!

GOOD MORNING YA'LL!!
How have you all been? We have been going crazy. We had family in town to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. And we have been woeking on both houses. We finally have a move in time frame. It's the end of Nov.-the first of Dec. We decided to cancel our Disney trip because of the time frame. Nov,25th-30th. Just to close for comfort. We are just to excited about the move to be to upset about cancelling the trip.
I should be around more today so I hope I am able to chat with you all later. I have missed all of you!!

Thank you to both of you!! I was so afraid everyone was going to move on and forget me. We have just been running around here like crazy. All the fun stuff is starting at the house now. Today is insulation. After an inspection the sheetrock will start. Then it's painting and floors and cabinets. All of this stuff is upposed to move pretty fast.

ive been interested in it for absolutely ages . Im not so confident with the clothing stuff, but my grandmother is pretty good, so I can bring it to her if I make a mess .

I think I'm going to have to find a copy of hairspray. I know Transformers came out today on DVD. I'm looking forward to seeing it also.

My DD can't wait until Hairspray comes out on DVD. I am such a dork. I really wanted to buy the special Transformer DVD that has a box that transforms into Optimus Prime. But since it's quite a bit more than the regular one, and not an HD version, I didn't get one at all.
