Hi everyone!

DeterminedOne, I forgot my camera today (I was in a rush, imagine that!... ) but will try to bring it tomorrow so you can see this awesome view!

Mean Queen - I, too, expect pics from this weekend! SO wish I could be there. Sadly, with all this talk of the economy and a possible recession, making a bold move to Florida is falling lower and lower on the possibilities list for us. We've been jobless during a recession once before and it is NOT something we want to do again! We may be giving a lot more thought to the camp-job idea (I'll explain that in another post when I have more time, but it's a move that would provide both a job and housing).

We are enjoying gorgeous weather today! It's near 70 in the shade and downright warm out in the sun!! I wish it would stay like that, but we do get it for the next three days, anyway.

SmileyBug, how's the house coming? Did you get everyone to thin out their stuff before moving it back to their rooms?! This mom does the same thing now and then.

In DD and DS's theater class today they were trying to think of a setting for their Winter Program. The theme is "Holidays Around the World". They are putting on a 10 minute skit to do for it. DD tells me she suggests two settings...igloo and Disney World! They end up being the final two and Disney World is voted as #1 (woo hoo!). Except two kids really dislike the idea of Disney World...they think of rides and cotton candy when the they think of it. The teacher (who also happens to be a CM) is not taking sides, but she is letting them talk it out. She said if they can't compromise, she would choose the setting. So everyone is suggesting things holiday related at WDW, Epcot having countries, Candelight Processional, etc. etc. They still aren't goin' for it. We'll have to see what happens tomorrow!

Isn't whining about something you have in common what normally brings friends together? I know I love whining with my friends.

Ok, I have to celebrate !! We'll be at MNSSHP tomorrow. We have a Chef Mickey breakfast planned Friday. I hope my little one doesn't freak out. She loves Mickey and Minnie, but she prefers the ones she can carry around or watch on TV. She's a little suspect about the ones that are as big as Mommy. I'll take plenty of pictures of us in our costumes and our Grand Villa at SSR.

When I'm gone this weekend, I'm counting on all of you to keep this thread going.

Well, looks like I'll have to live vicariously through you the next few days. Twirl your napkin a few times for me at Chef Mickey's, okay?

Hello again - just checking in with some news and info.

The new signature guidelines are in effect. If your siggie is not in compliance, it's likely that part or all of it was deleted. I checked mine, seems to be okay.

I should be in bed right now ... but I'm cooking a turkey. What can I say, I couldn't wait for Thanksgiving.

Look at it this way, it's your dream house - it should be the last place for a while at least! Maybe when you and DH retire you can move into one of those huge motor homes and spend the winter near Disney!

LittleBlue - 81 doesn't sound so bad ... unless the humidity was high.

LegoMom - what did you find out about your ticker verses Mean Queen's graphics? What's the difference? I was hoping my siggie wouldn't be a problem 'cause I probably wouldn't know how to fix it.

I think you are allowed three graphics, but they are limited in size, as is your entire siggie area. When I went in to edit my sig, I could still see the cat, the blinkie, and my countdown, but in my posts the countdown wasn't showing up. So I must have been over the size limit, even though I was within the 3-graphics limit. I took out the cat, since it was animated and thus probably a large file size. Then when I looked at one of my posts again, the countdown was there but just the top of the rope and none of the words. So, back in to edit, and I removed a few blank spaces, and that took care of it. Again, it's all about total size now! Mean Queen's graphics are ok because so many of them are DIS board smilies (no limit on those) and everything apparently falls within the alloted space.

Are you good and confused now!?! Me too!!

LittleBlue - I'll trade you some hot cider for your 81 degrees!! Actually, it was quite warm here today - mid 70s - and a tad muggy. Tonight I still have some windows open and it feels like a summer night! I'm lovin' it.

81! Our low has been near 81. It was 93 today!! But we have a "cool" front coming in, supposedly... high is only in the "mid-80's" tomorrow. Whee.
