Is this how my feet are really going to feel?

:goodvibes :lmao: :rolleyes1

Did you buy the little charms that you can add to them? I have a Mickey and a Minnie.

Yeah! I have a Donald Duck one and a classic Mickey for my Mary Janes, and I used to have a Mickey Head and a crazy looking cow for my Beach ones..but I lost them.:guilty:

What are you up to today?

Oh, not a whole lot. Have a couple of errands to run, one being to get some stuff for my DS's birthday on Saturday! He's turning 8. Also picking up the weekly local paper to search jobs....again.

Other than that I'll be sitting on my deck enjoying our 80-degree weather today!! Woot-woot! You don't get that in NH in October very often!

What's up for you?....still working on the house?

Your day sounds really nice!! It's cleaning day for me. :upsidedow I really need to get busy now. I wish you lots of good fortune on your job search. :goodvibes
It's really rainy here today again. So staying in and cleaning isn't such a bad thing. A pot of coffee and a dust rag are going to be my constant companions today!! :rotfl: Is your little one excited about turning 8? I think every birthday with your child is magical. I hope ya'll have a wonderful time with him on his special day!!

WARNING CROCS CROSSING

:lmao:

Well, I'll try and Dis a little bit for you today. You cover me at night while I'm at work and I'll cover you during the day. :goodvibes What kind of project are you working on at work? Forgive me if you already posted the answer to that ... you know I'm out of the loop. :sad2:

What's up Smileybug? How many cups of coffee have you had so far this morning? :hyper: :hyper:

Hi LegoMom. Let us know if you see any good job prospects. Good luck. Have the leaves started to turn colors yet in NH? I suppose not if you continue to have 80 degree weather. When they do start to turn, I would love it if you would post some pics. (I don't ask for much, huh?) :thumbsup2

Hello to the rest of my friends- Tagless Dis'ers and The Dis'ers Formerly Known as Tagless. I hope everyone has a great day.

I'm wearing my crocs this morning. Decided I would give them a test drive in the house. So far so good. :thumbsup2 I want more crocs just so I can get more of the little charms.:rotfl: They are really cute. I think I'm going to take my neice to look at the princess ones. Oh no...I feel a new obsession starting.:scared1: :lmao:

Hey, it's my turn to say it!...."You're probably in bed by now" ! But, when you get up later, here's a NH fall scenic photo for you! This one is actually from last year when we went apple picking. Most of my foliage photos are on film/prints so I can't reproduce them here (I have a scanner but it's quirky). I'll take some more with my digital over the next few days - we're starting to get some color in this part of the state. It's not brilliant this year due to the dry, dry summer we had, but there are still some very pretty spots!

Step away from the shoes....slowly. Now carefully, put on some Rope Drop music, come back to the DIS, and maybe, just maybe, you'll be ok....

DISCLAIMER: If I ever, EVER, so much as TRY ON a pair of crocs....
I fully blame SmileyBug and the DIS!!!!!!

It's the taxes on that scenery that are killing us! Now, we certainly don't have a view like that from our place, but since so many properties here do, it drives ALL land value up, up, up.:sad2: Can you believe that orchard was assessed with a "view tax?" The guy we talked to that day was like, "Yeah, the trees are really enjoying that view!":rotfl:

Just by way of comparison, our taxes on our 1400-sq. foot ranch on 1 acre with no view broke $3,700 this year (for those of you in New York/New Jersey, I know that's pocket change to you but we're pretty blue-collar up here and that hurts us! Our taxes when we bought this place less than 5 years ago were just under $2,500). A friend of ours put his house on the market last year after a divorce - only slighty larger, about the same land, but with a killer view of the mountains to the west. His taxes are over $5,300 this year!!!:scared:

I should also add that as pretty as that view is now, once the snow falls and everything gets icy.... BLAH!:headache: Can you say "Overnight lows below-zero!" ??!

Woo hoo! :yay: I finished! :cool1: I produce, write, and edit videos. I've been working on a business show. My old job lets me freelance for them and I normally get to work from home. But when it comes to the editing, I have to do that at the station. Now that I'm done with the show, I can go back to working from home. We have an election show coming up next. And I volunteered to host it. :scared1: What was I thinking?

My spelling is getting worse by the minute. I'm shocked you understood what I meant. But then agin we are rope drop buddies so I guess you should be able to understand me. :lmao: Even when I don't understand myself. :rotfl:

Oh my goodness!!:scared1: That is unreal!! Move to S.C. girlfriend. There is a lot for sale right next to ours. :) And it even has trees on it. :goodvibes

Can you say "I live in S.C." My weather isn't much different than FL. About 24 years ago it did drop to 10 degrees. :crazy2: The Christmas after hurricane hugo we even had snow!! That was in 1989!! ;)

Hmmm. I don't think that was what I was thinking. We've had nothing but bad luck with DD's jibbitz. They pop out, the baby finds them and shoves them in her mouth, then we have to pull a slobbery shoe charm out of the clamped jaws of a toddler. All the while, the shoe charm company laughs and laughs as everyone loses the charms on a daily basis then buys more.

Well, who fed you sour grapes today? :lmao: :goodvibes  (that was evil me speaking. Nice me would have never said that.)
