I enjoyed a much needed off day from work - wish I would have taken two days off instead of just the one.

Morning all! I was busy this morning. Grocery shopping and cleaning up cat pee. One of our cats hid in our room last night then used some clothes on the floor and our carpet as her bathroom. I've been scrubbing the area and soaking the clothes to get the smell out. I think the cat (Minnie) needs a visit to the vet to get shaved. That cat gets all matted because she's too fat to clean herself and our boy cats sure won't help out.

I posted this on the Cheer parent Thread, but I wanted to share with all of you also. My DD got her roundoff backhandspring last week. We are so proud of her.

My son (DS8) was selected to play on a select baseball team.

All in all this has been quite an exciting week!

Congratulations to you daughter and your son !! I remember when I used to cheer my coach never really made the effort to teach me how to do my roundoff backhandspring. She picked "favorites" and I wasn't one of them so when I asked her to help me...I got no help. But wonderful job to her And your son must be an awesome baseball player, I love baseball a lot so great for him!

LOL! How appropriate a post number since your vacation sounds like it was one from heck. I'm sorry it wasn't the happy hammock days you were looking for.

Except for Auntie Flo coming to visit on Thursday morning just as we were getting ready to leave, and the uncomfy couch, and my Mom yelling at me, it was an ok time. The hotel was actually ok, it just needed a paint job and a redone bathroom(and of course, a new sleeper sofa).

I was living the life of a desperate housewife. Shopping at Target and Publix then playing on the computer as the maid cleaned my house. That is so the best Christmas gift I ever got... it just keeps on giving all year long!

DH gave me maid service twice a month for Christmas. Though I think since he does the majority of dishes around here, it was more for him. I don't mind since it gets me out of cleaning toilets and scrubbing floors. Well, it gets me out of the toilets. With a 17 month old and 3 cats, I am always scrubbing something off the floor.
