Morning all! So what'd you make for the market this week LegoMom? Anything tasty?

We don't have big plans this weekend, just brunch tomorrow for my friends 40th.

This week I made a few loaves of bread (wheat and white), some Irish Soda Bread (plain, brown, and sweet-raisin), molasses cookies, p'butter cookies, and raspberry coffee cake. I also made blueberry coffee cake (as I do *******************************************ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYYYUS every week) but aparently I was too busy DISing yesterday and forgot to add the baking soda...the blueberry came out very dense and flat!! So I kept that batch home - perfectly good to eat but just doesn't look so great!

It's currently 95 in the shade with a heat index of around 100... My dad says it's good practice for a move to Florida!!! Except he has central A/C down there...

I can't imagine life without A/C, but we use it from March (April if we're lucky) through November usually. You are definitely getting a primer for life down here. All that food sounds yummy! I hope the market went well today.

What's up, friends? What are your plans for the day? I am off to get a haircut and car wash. After that ... who knows. I have lots of cleaning/laundry to do, but today is such a beautiful day I might have to find more reasons to be outdoors. It's sunny, high of 83 degrees.

We celebrated my friends 40th birthday. We had brunch then went swimming at a country club. Now we're back in the A/C recovering from the heat. No matter how much SPF 50 we use, the kids cheeks still get burnt when they're in the pool that long. Luckily, the baby napped on me while we sat under an umbrella near a fan while I sipped a Rumrunner. Ahhh, relaxing.

I'll just add it to my pile. And probably never get to it just like with my own laundry. There are some items of clothes I keep wondering where they are, then realize they must be at the bottom of the neverending pile.

work is working out so far. However, we're adjusting to daycare kooties/germies. This weekend we had two sickos in the house. Get us past two weeks or so and we should be adjusted.

I agree, don't chase a tag. It will wear your fingers out, trust me I've tried.
