It's a hot and steamy one here in the northeast today (good prep for Florida!!) and I'm taking the kids to our town beach this afternoon. It's always cooler there at the lake and another mom I know is supposed to join us so I'll have a grown-up to talk to!!!

LOL! I actually think living in a steam room is a better way to prepare for our hot steamy summers. Though you won't need any preparation for our winter (ok, really a cool fall in the winter months.)

I have only 19 more days to work at my summer job, Subway (I work M-F), and then I'm off to the with my parents and DD11. She's lucky and gets to go to the same beach about 2 weeks apart. Once with her dad and then once with us 2 weeks later.

And then my regular job at a school district starts.
