Speaking of cheerleading my DD and I are sitting here and watching Bring it on. (yes, the cheer movie) DD is reciting it word for word. I think we have seen it toooooo many times. DD cheered rec, high school and allstar for 5 years. I even home schooled her in 7th grade so she could take private gymnastics classes. Yes we LIVED cheerleading. It was fun!! But I'm glad it is over. Cheer moms can be some mighty nasty people.
It also does same damage to your body. A lady I worked with had her DD's in cheer and one of them always had something strained, sprained, or broken. I guess I should be glad my DD has very little physical ability. The poor child can't do a cartwheel to save her life so she'll never be a cheerleader. Though she did pick the cheer smiley for my siggie below.
