Hey everyone! I'm baaaaaack!!!! I have missed y'all so much. After I started back at my new old job, I found out that I can't dis at work, then my computer at home died. We just got a new one last night.

I have some good news though...I am going to a conference in August and y'all will never believe where it is going to be....Disneyworld! I am so excited, I hope that I am going to be able to take the family with me, but I am not sure when school will be starting back, so they may not be able to go.

We have the usual plans for Turkey day, Thursday with dh's family and saturday with my family. My dsil and my neice and nephew are going to be here for the first time in four years. My brother was stationed in England, he just got reassigned to Las Vegas so this will be the first turkey day and christmas that they will be here for in a long time. We are super excited.

Anyway I am going to have to read up on all of your discussions.

Hi 5Slays!!!! Good to have you back! I wondered where you'd gone! Not able to DIS at work... well, the nerve of them!

I've been watching my "Relive the Magic" DVDs of Disney World this afternoon.... Gotta have that fix! I also just ordered the new 2008 PassPorter! And, as soon as I have the deposit (within the next 2 weeks), I'm booking our 2008 trip!! I'm tired of sitting here making NO plans because of the house being for sale and not knowing where we'll be, etc. The "worst" thing that happens is that I have to change the dates and postpone the trip a bit. But at least there will still BE a trip!

With this trip, for the first time, I have to take into consideration the kids' school schedule..... Blech!! I like being a free spirit and love going in September, but DS11 will be in 6th grade and struggles as it is. So, I'm going to book 3rd week of August or thereabouts, and hope for Free Dining again! We'll still get the plan anyway, but free is good, of course.

Can't wait!

Hi 5Slays! Sounds like you're going to have a good Turkey day. I made our feast for my family today since we'll be at Disney on Thanksgiving. While the food at Boma's will be good, DH loves my turkey and pumpkin pie. After dinner, we even ran out for a big rash of Christmas shopping. So it really felt like Thanksgiving already for us. Especially the extremely full part of it. I need to get the kids to bed so I can conk out.

Oh, ok, sure...so the one morning I don't get the chance to pop in here early, SmileyBug shows up!! Yes, Turkey Day is nearly upon us! I can't wait. My DH can't wait to have 4 consecutive days off!...this from a man who often has to work 13 days on/1 off....

Mean Queen: we have MINT!!!!! I had to stop at the grocery store this afternoon for a few quick items, and lo and behold there's mint M&Ms in the Christmas display! So, at least now I know we have 'em around here. I think they must be catching on because there were bags and bags of every other sort of M&Ms, but I only saw two bags of the mint, tossed on top! I only bought one today because they were most definitely NOT on sale!

Sol...has anyone gone to WDW on a business trip? Are the discounted tickets really discounted?? Can you add the dining plan with the discounted room rate? Oh, I forgot to mention that we will get to stay at the Contemporary or the Poly and guess what??? the rate is only $149!!! Can you believe it?? I am so excited.

It looks like everyone has a great turkey day planned. My DH had a feast at his work today and he is bringing me a huge plate home for dinner. Can we say PIGLET??

Never done a business trip so can't help with tix, but as far as the dining plan, if I'm not mistaken, you can purchase it with a discounted room but cannot get Free Dining (if offered) AND a discounted room. Free Dining = rack rate room!

You'll be paying for your deluxe what we'll be paying for POR!! That's a great deal. Someday if I win Powerball I'd love to stay at the Poly.

It's nice to see you this morning Smiley! I've been having problems replying too. I know I replied to 5Slays about the great room deals yesterday, but it never showed up. The computer locked up and I wasn't sure until I didn't see it this morning.

Considering how crazy some of the posts on the CB have been lately, that's saying a lot about your real life. I am actually not looking forward to my Disney trip. It's going to be absolutely packed. I plan to do as little as possible, because waiting in those lines (or even waiting for others who are waiting in those lines) is not easy with a toddler.
