I posted before I meant to. (oops) These are pictures taken today of the new house.

It was great thanks What did you do today? I did a lot with measurement in Science. It was actually fun!

Well we're making a cake, and I made this like newspaper thing. And it has the weather for tonight, her horoscope for today, a picture of the Broadway sign in NYC (her favorite place to be besides here!), a Polish flag (she was born in Poland ) The title is the Iwona Gazette, and it has the date. Then there's a picture of butterflies, and sunflowers. Then there's a picture that says I love you, Always & Forever. and a quote picture thing that says "A Birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy your trip!" then a really cute poem that reads.

I can only imagine how she felt. I agree with Mean Queen that was an incredible gift!!

Oh, yea...all the time she always has a story as to why he isn't there (he's at work, he's golfing, he's at Dorney park, Saturday he was bowling though) haha I don't know where kids get this stuff, she has a great imagination!

This is absolutely hillarious!! I hope someone is writing some of this down.

After a dr. visit and a visit to the hospital for an x-ray, nothing was wrong. She just twisted it and it's sore... not broken. That's good of course, but I am not going to like that x-ray bill when it comes in. My DD is very clumsy and we end up at the hospital for things she thinks are big and end up being nothing too often.

Always better safe than sorry!! But I know how you feel about it.

She did. I did something like it last year (exactly a year ago I was in surgery for my appendix...) and I left it at my cousin's house so she brought it to the hospital, but it was all yucky looking so this year's looked fantastic.

And the really good thing is that there was no repeat on the appendix.

Our neighbor's grand-daughters are staying with them right now (just moved up from NC) and yesterday the 13-yr. old busted up her arm AND nose!!...right out in front of our house. All the neighborhood kids were riding bikes out here and going over my DS10's little jump. Well this gal somehow lost control and went head-over-heels and the rest was just not very pretty.

Stuff like that is always scary to see. With 3 boys I saw plenty of it too.

OOOOOOOOOOO, I'm askeered.

Okay let the stalking begin!

Ouch! And it's stories like that that keep us from pushing our DD to learn to ride a bike. She is not very coordinated, so we know she'd end up all battered and bloody. I know an 8-year old should know how to ride a bike, I just don't want all those emergency room bills.

I always hated it when the kids wanted the training wheels off. They were excited and I was scared to death.

Okay I just realized that I posted pictures of the front of the house twice. Now you have to remember that this is the very first time that I have EVER posted pictures. So I'm going to try it again.

It really isn't a McMansion. (Only a baby one ) It's 3700 sq ft. See, not McMansionest at all.

Good morning! It was another night of not being able to sleep.
I work second shift and normally don't get up until around 10 but this morning got up at 5. I'll try to catch a few more hours before I have to go in, but if not- guess I'll just bet tired.

I'm sorry you aren't sleeping. That can really stink. Maybe a change to your routine might help. Just take care of yourself. Running on low sleep can cause all kinds of problems.

I've heard so many horror stories about realitors and the people they bring into your home. But I guess it's about the only way to sell unless you just know someone that wants your house. ANYONE WANT TO BUY MY HOUSE? If only it were that easy.

WOOHOO you got a nap!! I don't think we will ever be done painting. I tell everyone now that after the house sells I will come back and knock on the door and ask if I can paint. One thing just seems to keep leading to another. And I can't tell you how many times we have opened the second can of paint for it to not be quite the same color. And you don't realize it until the paint has dried. That means a whole new repaint. And this is lowes best paint too. Talk about a pain.
