Me too! Need to continue going through boxes downstairs, and then the house needs an overall general cleaning (I've let it go since all the scrambling last week with two showings!!). I'll pop in later and see how everyone's doing!!

It is soooo beautiful outside. I wish I were doing yard work instead of painting inside. Oh well. At least the windows are open.

Sounds like you are all keeping busy! I was supposed to go into work today (I usually freelance from home, but have to go in to the office sometimes). But my older DD twisted her ankle and DH took her to the dr. while I am home with the baby. I'm waiting to see what the dr. says. She was running in a pair of those platform sandals (a friend gave them to her, not us.)

It was great thanks What did you do today? I did a lot with measurement in Science. It was actually fun!

Well we're making a cake, and I made this like newspaper thing. And it has the weather for tonight, her horoscope for today, a picture of the Broadway sign in NYC (her favorite place to be besides here!), a Polish flag (she was born in Poland ) The title is the Iwona Gazette, and it has the date. Then there's a picture of butterflies, and sunflowers. Then there's a picture that says I love you, Always & Forever. and a quote picture thing that says "A Birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy your trip!" then a really cute poem that reads.

with kites and skipping rope?
Did you sometimes wash your hands,
forgetting about the soap?
Did you walk in squishy mud or like to play in rain?
Did your mom say, "Eat your vegetables."
Again, again, again?
Did your aunts and uncles kiss you?
Did you wish that they would not?
Did you always mind your manners
and do what you were taught?
Did you run and jump and slide
or fall and scrape your knee?
Mom, were you ever really once a little kid like me?

Your 3 year old niece wanted to talk about her husband? That is too cute!

Oh, yea...all the time she always has a story as to why he isn't there (he's at work, he's golfing, he's at Dorney park, Saturday he was bowling though) haha I don't know where kids get this stuff, she has a great imagination!

That's good of course, but I am not going to like that x-ray bill when it comes in. My DD is very clumsy and we end up at the hospital for things she thinks are big and end up being nothing too often.

Ok, you got me all teary eyed. I bet your mom will cry like a baby. That is such a sweet and creative gift. Truly better than anything you can buy in a store.

She did. I did something like it last year (exactly a year ago I was in surgery for my appendix...) and I left it at my cousin's house so she brought it to the hospital, but it was all yucky looking so this year's looked fantastic.

Our neighbor's grand-daughters are staying with them right now (just moved up from NC) and yesterday the 13-yr. old busted up her arm AND nose!!...right out in front of our house. All the neighborhood kids were riding bikes out here and going over my DS10's little jump. Well this gal somehow lost control and went head-over-heels and the rest was just not very pretty.

All the neighborhood kids were riding bikes out here and going over my DS10's little jump. Well this gal somehow lost control and went head-over-heels and the rest was just not very pretty.

Ouch! And it's stories like that that keep us from pushing our DD to learn to ride a bike. She is not very coordinated, so we know she'd end up all battered and bloody. I know an 8-year old should know how to ride a bike, I just don't want all those emergency room bills.
