Good morning to you too!! It seems to me that putting a Starbucks in Disneyland Paris could only be a good thing for the company.
Hows your day looking?
I thought that too,
also I want my strawberry frappochino before I hit main street XD

Im going to the mall for a while, talk to you guys later:goodvibes

Aww, thanks! :lovestruc Yes, that's Pippin. Our lovable, adorable, not-so-bright Scottish Fold. He's doing much better now. Had some dinner and is off taking a bath somewhere....I hope.

I love Scottish Folds. But I think our next kitty will be a Bengal.

Second hand info I'm afraid. There is a thread about on the community board.

Saw it on the news this a.m. It is true, I'm afraid.
Although, I have to say, I'm not surprised. There are no less than FOUR Starbucks within a 3 minute walk to my building. Overkill much?

Here is my LGMHPC!

Love it!

I know for some of you it's "Friday." Sadly, not me (unless I can luck out of working tomorrow!...but I doubt it. We just started a new order yesterday....:sad2: ).

Hope you have a good day, whatever you're up to!

Thanks! And you also have a good day LegoMom! I for one am celebrating it being my Friday. Despite that meaning I'll likely have to work late.

Hi everybody. Shout outs are in order for Lego Mom with just 68 days 'til Disney. I'm so jealous!! Love your LGMH -- or -- lime green Mickey heads. I just enjoy typing LGMH 'cause it's a Dis thing! Woot Woot to you, Master Gracy for finishing up those exams.!! Hi everyone else. I miss you all!! We've got a 3 day weekend coming up so I plan to be on here more. Have a great day!

Yes, it's called "Alien Green" on the paint chip card.

Glad you all liked it! Now taking orders...! :lmao:

I have about a million of those LGMH in the house. Dh and I are going to Florence today, so I am sure I'll con a trip to Home Depot out of him. :rotfl:

I went to bed after Hell's Kitchen too. I'm hoping Petroza takes it.

So do I. To me, Christina seems to be quite the backstabber. If Petroza was smart, he left Jen for Christina's team, as I am sure it will be Jen's mission to sabotage Christina.

::coughcoughtpretripreportcoughsniffle::

I agree.

Come back in, DeterminedOne, the water is nice and warm.

Dh and I have *gasp* a babysitter for our kids today. We are going to go to see Get Smart (only because I needs a few laughs, even if they are forced), eat dinner, and walk next door from Olive Garden to Home Depot to snag those aforementioned LGMHs. I have a lot of them, but who ever has enough?:confused3 :rolleyes1

I would pick Matt over Jen as well. She is just down right nasty and can't be trusted.

Morning all!

Master Gracy - nice to see you around. Hope exams went well. A Starbucks at DLP is just one more reason for me to try to make it there one day.

Legomom - sorry today isn't your Friday.

Sadie - enjoy the quiet. And I hope your pup is feeling okay today.

Amanda - How lucky! I would love to see "Get Smart." Or just have a date with DH.

DO - Good to see you around. Of course, I won't be around much the next few days when you will be. The condo we're going to doesn't have internet. :scared1:

Thanks, so far he is doing well. However, I am not. It was supposed to be $600 and when I got there it was $850! This is not the 1st estimate that they are way off. I could have cried. It took every cent I had from my checking and cash. Luckily I had some cash with me, but that was to help pay for our septic tank problems. I was ready to lose it then I get home and my husband calls to tell me they are on their way to dig up the septic pump and look at it. I spoke with the guy and he said we can pay in 30 days. That was estimated around $650. Now, where is that going to come from? I feel sick. :guilty: Then I get the mail and remember car insurance is due soon. A $250 difference in an estimate may not be a big deal to some, but that is a lot of $ for my family. The $600 was already the high estimate. Here I was thinking the total may be less. Silly, silly me.

Sadie, you are describing exactly why we bought a Ford Focus instead of the Fusion I wanted. When I researched online, the estimates for the monthly payment was $450. That was great--my Explorer payments were $600 so I could have a little more wiggle room. When they pulled out the payment calculator, the $450 became over $600. I went home with a smaller car than I wanted, but a new car with a payment that fit my budget. If I had to pay $850 for the vet, I would be at a loss. I have no idea where that kind of money would come from. I'm sorry that you are going through so much. You aren't alone, though. It really stinks that the vet's office was that far off. I would be in tears.

In that case I would have gone with the Focus too. My car payment is what we can handle at $165. Then last year the transmission died and we had to charge a new $3,000 trans. So I am still paying for my car and the credit card with the new transmission. Got to love that. I had planned on getting a lot done today but my ambition was quickly sucked away. I am a lazy bum.

Oh yuck. Just yuck. I'm glad your boy is feelin' better but I'm sorry it cost so much more than anticipated.

Sending pixie dust your way :tinker:

Alright, alright....all you 'uns clamoring for me to start my pre-trippie....I'll see what I can do! No promises before August 1st, though! I just cannot for the life of me see what I have to write about for TWO months before I even get there!!

So we have decided not to go camping this weekend. Not real disappointed about that, so no need to feel sorry! We will find something to do on Friday, and then Saturday we're spending the day at a friend's seasonal camp site not too too far from here, to celebrate her birthday. She survived Leukemia so every birthday she has IS a celebration! She was around 25 when she developed it, and is about to turn 39!! That right there is a miracle.

Work was "ok" today. Not fantastic, not "fun", but certainly better than yesterday. We started yet another new order (don't have all the materials to finish the one we started yesterday) and this one was all on striped fabric. Which was cut crooked. Which makes lining up the cardboard really, really fun!.....or not.

One more day of that!

That IS a miracle! How wonderful!!! She's in my prayers.

Did you find anything interesting at the mall today?

You both have a 3 day weekend? Then don't spend all your time here. Hit the town.

With all the vet talk and such as of late, I saw this one this morning and thought of you guys on this thread:

SadieDog, I'm really happy that your furbaby is doing well. :yay: I know the Vet bill has left a bad tasted in your mouth. But first thing to do is take a really deep breath. Then tackle the budget. Worrying yourself into an anxiety attack isn't going to do anything but make you sick. And that accomplishes nothing. And don't forget that we are here for you to vent to. :goodvibes

Well, the news about your friend is most diffinately the good news of the day!! And I really, really whole heartedly do believe in miracles!! :cloud9:

Thank you!! :goodvibes

I don't think I've ever asked or seen it specifically posted here - what do you do?

I work for a small manufacturing company that makes decorative fabric-covered boxes. They are called hat boxes, and indeed were traditionally used to store hats, but nowadays they have uses as varied as your imagination! We've fulfilled large orders for candy companies, cosmetic companies, we do wedding boxes, and props for a number of places. They come in all sizes and colors of the rainbow! 99% of the time it's really fun. Then once in a while, we get a fabric that doesn't cooperate and is difficult to work with. That makes it a real bear to do your job!

Me too!!...definitely. And she really is a walking miracle, as cliche as that sounds. More than once she wasn't expected to last the night, when she was really in the thick of it. It is absolutely amazing to have watched what she went through, and see her today. She recently got her Master's Degree, too! In Psychology, I believe. She's doing some part-time teaching.

and thank goodness for a starbucks, watery nestle coffee was all thats there right now:crazy2:

oh hey, I found this video today, and found it hilarious:
Its the stepsisters from Cinderella, in Disneyland Paris
Drizella is singing, while Anastasia interprets her lyrics through dance
