GOOD MORNING!!

Good morning, Smileybug!

I'm doing great this morning, except that both of my middle-schoolers forgot their lunches so now I have to get dressed and drive to the school after my little guys go. I hate when that happens. it's a beautiful day though. How about yourself? How is your morning?

Mary

Welcome! This is for the tagless and formerly tagless (since some of us have been here long enough to have been tagged.) Feel free to jump right in.

WOW. Friendly inviting people. That's a change. I guess I'm too used to being ignored. THANKS to all of you who are so kind.

Boy, I remember those days!! I need to get busy. Gotta clean, clean, clean!! :sad2: Today is my oldest son's birthday and he is coming over for supper. So I will be cleaning and decorating and cooking his birthday meal. I can't believe I have a 24 year old. :scared1: Boy, where did the time go. :sad2:

You are welcome!! :grouphug: But we aren't always so kind. Sometimes the evil babnanas take over.

Oh great, I have failed miserably with a capital "M" with my "diet" this past week, and you all are in here talking about more food!! By the way, Mean Queen, my meatloaf cups could actually be quite lean if you used 90 or 93% lean ground beef (or ground turkey breast) and low-fat cheese! Not that I made them that way....:rolleyes1

And a big WELCOME to SadieDog!! :cheer2: We're a bit of an odd bunch, but no one's ever accused us of being nasty. :upsidedow You are most welcome and I hope you'll stick around a while!

I actually have to go into work this morning so I can't hang around. I'll be back this afternoon!

Have a GREAT day!

.

I have made those trips and I'm sure I have a few more in my future. May I ask how many kids you have? Sounds like your mornings are busy.

There is a free points calculator somewhere online you can use. I will have to look up the link, but on the W.I.S.H. board there are tons of people using WW formulas without actually belonging to W.W. I'm in the Biggest Loser 5group over there. But I have been naughty with my workouts thus far this week, so I'll be lucky to have lost an ounce.

Mary

I think I saw the WISH board but thought it was like people wishing they were going to Disney or somethng. You never know around here and i figured i would read over there when there were no more other boards to read at. :rotfl: :rotfl: I'll go check it out because I have been eating healthier etc on my own. But that will have to wait as my Dising will be interrupted yet again by that work thing. I do have a upcoming trip I must pay for you know.

What does he like for his b-day meal? I find the decorating fun but cleaning not so much. I need an incentive like a b-day gathering to get myself to do more then basic cleaning.

Ok, I admit it. I have an evil streak now and then too.;)

Happy Birthday to your son! Wow, 24! I know the time goes so fast. My oldest is 18 and I swear I just brought her home from the hospital a year or so ago.

Hope his birthday celebration :cake: :clown: :jumping1: is an absolute blast!

I used to think that too! Thought it was a board for daydreamers, not that that would be a bad thing, but just something that don't want to spend time reading about. But nope, it's all about getting and staying healthy. They are a good group too and I have learned a lot.

Have a wonderful day at work! :surfweb: If you get stressed, think about that trip! I'm off of here for now myself. Time to get the little guys going.

He is actually making my day an easy one. He asked for homemade baked potato soup and homemade mac and cheese. And I'm doing a Better than Robert Redford desert for his cake, That desert is to die for!! I must pat myself on the back and say the soup in good too. But VERY fattening.

Evil streaks are welcome here and sometimes even a necessity. As long as the streak doesn't get to wide. :thumbsup2

Thank you!! Any time the family is together is a great time. My kids are close and I feel incredibly blessed for that.:goodvibes

Work can get in the way, that's why I don't work. :rotfl2:

I want your job. ;) LOL

But my last point level was around 26 a day.

That's where I'm at right now. Actually, I'm riding the line between 25 and 26. As happy as I'll be to see that point go, I'll be a little sad too.

Well I need to lose so much weight they might only give me 10 points.

Not true, actually. It's not tied to what you need to lose but to where you currently are at. I think you'd be surprised. There are days I can't finish my points. They also have a program called the Core Program that is loosely tied to the original system, but is different.

I belong to WW online. I think I paid $65 for three months. They usually have a great deal going on. It's a great tool. Though you can probably find some sort of free version someone has set up online. I've never looked and I don't mind spending the money if it helps me get healthy. Good luck!

I really should check out those WISH threads too.

Hey, maybe someone here can answer this - what the heck does WPSADI stand for? I saw it over on the Community Boards and am clueless. Not that that's a new thing. :sad2:

Hi. Do you welcome newcomers to your thread? I am tagless.

Welcome. Some of us are (tag) nekkid. Some of us are not. We're not tag descriminatory. ;)

YUM, that sounds delicious. My daughter would ask for homemade mac and cheese too.

Hi Sadie - hope you will stay around and hang with us. I'm usually here early mornings and weekends 'cause I work 3rd. :)

That's me. Tag nekkid.

Sorry, I can't think of what it stands for either. Now I'm curious.

I'd love to since you are all so welcoming. I'm up early mornings on school days, but definately NOT on the weekends. ;) I'm not a morning person. 3rd shift sounds really tough. Have you had that shift for long? Must be difficult to adjust.

I worked 3rd for six weeks this past November then I went to 1st, then 2nd, now 3rd again. Of all the shifts I prefer 3rd. If I worked somplace else I would prefer to work days, but where I work 3rd is the best option. The hours aren't that bad as long as I get enough sleep. The worst part about it is my DH works days so it cuts into our time together.

WOW, changing shifts must have been difficult. I have brothers that used to work 3rd shift in a mill. They had apartments in town at the time and could have difficulty sleeping during the day if there was too much noise. Hope you are in a quiet location or a heavy sleeper. I"m such a light sleeper, I have issues sleeping as it is.
