Boy, I remember those days!! I need to get busy. Gotta clean, clean, clean!! :sad2: Today is my oldest son's birthday and he is coming over for supper. So I will be cleaning and decorating and cooking his birthday meal. I can't believe I have a 24 year old. :scared1: Boy, where did the time go. :sad2:

Happy Birthday to your son! My oldest turns 9 this year. It's scary to think of her being 24. :scared1:

That's where I'm at right now. Actually, I'm riding the line between 25 and 26. As happy as I'll be to see that point go, I'll be a little sad too.

Hey, maybe someone here can answer this - what the heck does WPSADI stand for? I saw it over on the Community Boards and am clueless. Not that that's a new thing. :sad2:

It's amazing what a difference that one point a day can make! I really need to get back into it. I also did it online. I don't like being guilted in front of a group of strangers to lose weight. It doesn't motivate me.

WPASADI - From what I've read, it was some sort of contest based on reality TV shows. I don't remember the exact meaning, but it had Apprentice, Survivor, and Idol in the name.

I worked 3rd for six weeks this past November then I went to 1st, then 2nd, now 3rd again. Of all the shifts I prefer 3rd. If I worked somplace else I would prefer to work days, but where I work 3rd is the best option. The hours aren't that bad as long as I get enough sleep. The worst part about it is my DH works days so it cuts into our time together.

Glad to see you DO! That was one reason I left overnights, my DH got off of them and I never saw him.

I have made those trips and I'm sure I have a few more in my future. May I ask how many kids you have? Sounds like your mornings are busy.

Five. :laundy: The last two are twins though. Two for one special that day :rotfl:

Yep, mornings can be hectic but I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way.

How many does everyone else have?

Mary

Is that how WW works? The more you lose, the less points per day you are allowed? I didn't know that.

I wouldn't want to weigh in with an audience either. The Big Loser group has a weekly weigh-in, you just PM the weight keeper and she can't see you anyway.

Are all of your 5 still school age?

I only have 2 kids. My daughter is 16 and a Junior in HS. My son is 12 and in 7th grade. In June and July they will be 17 and 13 so soon I will have 2 teenagers. I feel old.

I have 2 girls, almost 7 years apart.

Is that how WW works? The more you lose, the less points per day you are allowed? I didn't know that.

The point values are based on about 1 point per 50 calories. But fat and fiber can also change the point value. So as you lose weight, you need less calories, thus less points. WW gives you a reserve of points in case you want to go over a day. It actually encourages you to use those points, it's included as part of the weight loss. I lost less weight when I didn't use it because my metabolism slowed down too much. Boy, I really need to finish up those leftovers in the fridge then get my booty back on WW.

I have 4 children. And such perfect little angels they are too!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I wouldn't make a habbit of that... I am telling you that my kids are now thinking there may NOT be any dinner as I am catching up on the boards. :surfweb: I could order pizza... or what about cereal? Isn't it better at night?

"Hey kids! Let's have some fun tonight and have breakfast for dinner." Then throw them a bowl with some cereal and milk and call it a night.

Hi. Do you welcome newcomers to your thread? I am tagless.

When my soon to be 12 year old was a toddler, she ate her breakfast at daycare. She loved pancakes, so much so that she had them almost every morning. I made a regular sized Bisquick batch and froze them individually. At times we had the pancakes for dinner.

Cross your fingers for me folks. I had to have blood drawn tonight to rule out diabetes. I've lost a total of almost 30 lbs.(22 lbs or so since December). I've worn glasses/contacts since 1983. For the last 2 weeks I haven't needed any correction. The Opthamologist I went to wanted the blood drawn to rule out diabetes. My dad had type 2 for many years and now has type 1.

SadieDog, where abouts in Maine are you? I'm "next door" in NH, but over in the southwest part of the state.

GOOD MORNING YA'LL

Thinking about you PaMom!!

:grouphug:

Good morning all! Good luck with your tests PaMom!

It's nice to see the sun this morning, I must say, even if it is a bit cool.

I have to say I'm a little frustrated. I'm on the train and have been trying to call in to buy MNSSHP tix for our trip and I got through just fine the first two times...and then my phone dropped the signal, and the call. Then, when I tried back a third time, I got the "All circuits are busy now" message. Which means there are approximately 9,846 people waiting. :sad2:

Ah well. I don't have enough battery life on my phone to wait for approximately 389 minutes for the next available Disney travel agent, so I'm going to have to wait until I get to work and try my luck then. We're not trying for one of the "Premium" dates, so I'm hopeful I won't have a problem getting tix.

Happy Thursday!

:flower3:

I want your job. ;) Not true, actually. It's not tied to what you need to lose but to where you currently are at. I think you'd be surprised. There are days I can't finish my points. They also have a program called the Core Program that is loosely tied to the original system, but is different.

I belong to WW online. I think I paid $65 for three months. They usually have a great deal going on. It's a great tool. Though you can probably find some sort of free version someone has set up online. I've never looked and I don't mind spending the money if it helps me get healthy. Good luck!

I didn't know that. I did not have time or feel like going to a group meeting for weigh ins. I think I will check it out online

Oh I have no clue. there are Disney things posted that I just can't recall what they might be talking about still

Welcome. Some of us are (tag) nekkid. Some of us are not. We're not tag descriminatory. ;)

Nekkid nekkid nekkid is me:banana:

Fingers crosssed for you... The eyes having better vision is a good sign in my book.:woohoo:

If Tinkerbellarella can't answer your question I know Mean Queen can. She is our resident Disney expert. She answers all of our questions. :thumbsup2

I've never been, however, I know people of all ages, infant to elderly, who have been and LOVED it. From what I hear it is crowded, but still fun.

Tinkerbellarella I hope you don't have trouble getting tickets. Do they really sell out that fast? I was hoping to go Oct 13th, but can't purchase them yet. Need to sell a piece of waterfront property and we will be all set. I'm showing it today so maybe it will work out. Do you all feel MNSSHP is worth the price?

Sadie, are you are realtor too?
