Ugh, I am so glad it's daylight and time to be up.... I had a pretty fitfull night and slept on and off but not well. My head is finally clearing up but I was not comfortble all night. Then, you know when you're sick and not feeling well at night, and when you close your eyes you just start to think about stuff and see it real vividly?? That happen to anyone else? It's not dreaming cuz you're not sleeping, but you brain is going full-tilt and on over-drive! I was dreaming, however, right before the alarm went off and for some reason all my front teeth were falling out.... Weird.


Well fortunately I don't have to work again (they are packing and shipping the last large order we did). I will probably get my grocery shopping done but other than that, don't plan to do much of anything.

Are all your teeth in place? I'm glad you are starting to feel a little better. I have a favor to ask...When you go grocery shopping, would you pick up a few things for me to? I need to go today. But I think I'm going to stretch things and go tomorrow.

Ok, too early in the morning for me to think. I'm a little confused. When you say you are non-shrink prejudice, do you mean you would rather not have people who have never shrunk/do not need to? I understand if you want a thread dedicated for those who have previously lost weight or currently trying to do so. I could always use exercise encouragement, but I didn't want to interfere with your thread if my situation was different.

It's a gray day here in Beantown. But I'm in great spirits this morning, so the sun's a-shinin' from within!

To be honest, weight has never been an issue for me that's why I was not sure if I would be welcome. Well actually, I had the opposite problem in HS. I was too thin and had a hard time gaining. I even had some people express concern and thought I may have an eating disorder. I didn't, I was just very thin. I enjoy walking but need to get out a lot more or it will be torture next time I try to climb a mountain. I need to get in better shape for hiking and I like to stay healthy.

I watched the 1st season and liked it so I don't know why I have not watched it again. I think I saw it a couple of times when Mario Lopez was on too. What day/time is it on?

I think you might be thinking of 'Dancing With the Stars' which had its finale Tuesday. Figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi won. 'So You Think You Can Dance' is much like AI but a dance version with amateur dancers. They do ballroom dancing like DWS but also do contemporary and hip hop and broadway dancing. It's produced by the same guy who produces AI. Pretty good show. ETA: It starts tonight at 8:00 on Fox.

We are celebrating today! I saw you posted on our very chatty thread. I started a campaign on there to get the TF to give the dedicated a David Cook tag with a scrolling picture. I think the TF is a David Cook fan, since they often got people on that thread. One poor lady got tagged as a "loserbag". You do have to be careful what you type.

DC did an "I'm Going to Disneyworld" commercial. Now I have to figure out when he's going and try to see the parade.

It had to be a dream come true to play with such guitar (hero) legends. Anyone else still have the Guitar Hero commercial in their head? His Disney World one was great too. He sang "When You Wish Upon A Star."

What I really like about DC is he seems soooo comfortable on stage. Even playing with the great ZZ Top he just looked and sounded like he was in his element. The right David took the title!! I expect his career to take off just like Carrie Underwoods has. He is a true entertainer. From the begining I could always see myself going to one of DC's concerts. That is part of how I judged each constant. Could I go to their concert? Some of them were just so boring and "stage dead". He knows how to work the stage, he is eye candy, and he has talent!!

I'm still feeling pretty crummy. DS11 got the same cold at the same time, and he was over it in like 24 hours!! Dang youth...
I am TRYING to get excited for our weekend but with the way I feel right now, sleeping anywhere but my own warm bed is just NOT appealing...

You should watch "So you think you can dance" it's really pretty good. I'm glad you got your shopping done. I decided to wait until tomorrow to go and do mine. That might be a major mistake.

You should rest today and tomorrow. You've got to take care of yourself for the weekend.

I'd say the stores are busy b/c of the holiday weekend too. I have been camping when sick and it certainly makes things more difficult and less pleasant. Being in the middle of nowhere without any facilities when sick makes every thing feel like work. Then crawl into a damp tent and sleep on the ground. At least we have a pop-up now.

Smileybug: I could def see myself at a David Cook concert. That would be fun. NOT at a Carrie Underwood concert though. Not my cup of tea.
