The snarky purple tag fairy visited the American Idol thread last night and apparently this morning. I had posted that I missed out last night and though I loved my tags, I always appreciate snarky.

And I love me some David Cook. My DH is getting a big jealous, though he agrees that the guy is massively talented. I was upset when both Michael Johns and Carly were kicked off. Those were my top 3.

I'm hoping Brooke before the poor girl has a complete nervous breakdown. Though I think I have Syesha in my AI pool. As long as David C makes top three. I think David A. would stand to benefit the most from winning. David C. I think would do better going the Daughtry route, without the control of American Idol.

By the way I'm glad to see that the tag fairy is still in the house with the upset that seems to be happening elsewhere on the Dis.

The tag fairy has been very nice to our chatty Idol thread. There's a pool where if you win, you get a tag of your choice and you can gift a tag to a friend. Then the tag fairy went and spread their dust all over the thread last night. It is nice to see a little of the old Dis magic still alive.

Yes I know!! We really don't need the large SUV anymore. It's my vehical. Our kids are grown. They are 24, 22, 20 and 19. Everyone has their own car/truck. We only ride together as a family once in a blue moon now. So we have started to look at smaller SUV's. I would love to hear all of your opinions on different ones.

I think she has too much of the same fan base (female rock fans) as David C., but he gets the votes because he's better and much cuter. I think the song Carly picked was better than the one she originally was going to do. If David C. is gone, so am I. There's no one else I like to watch (or drool over.)

I drive an '03 Saturn Vue and it is ok. They just redesigned it for '08. I am quite partial to Subaru.

Just watch the mileage on the Subarus. I have no idea how their bigger stuff performs (or even what they have??) but my in-laws have a couple of Foresters and because they are full-time AWD, their mileage stinks! You wouldn't expect that from a smaller wagon type vehicle, but alas it's true. Of course it may still be far better than a big SUV!

Another rainy day here. Another day I'm not working. I have a big electric bill due next week so I am highly motivated TO work...! Hopefully tomorrow. This moring I'm taking DS8 to the dentist.
